The last polls winners was Edge of Tomorrow and we'll be watching/filming our reactions later today and uploaded Saturday.

Simone is going on vacation around the end of July into start of August and as such there will be no polls on July 18th and July 25th

Which is why we are making this poll a big one, and the top 3 winners will become the next 3 weeks weekly Patreon voted for movie.

Weekly movie Poll will resume on August 1st.

I do apologise if this has already been mentioned, but as you're also working through other TV series, can I make a heartfelt plea for both series of Spaced? As you both enjoy the Cornetto trilogy, it would as film buffs be wonderful to see you work through the show that really cemented Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jessica Hynes and Edgar Wright as the talents they are. (Have the rips if needed...)

I'm curious, has Simone seen the previous X-Men movies, and the prequals First Class; Days of Future Past, etcetera? Have either of them seen the travesty that was Green Lantern? (sorry if that last bit spoils anything for that one. lol)

I suggest Waterworld (1995). It's a great post-apocalyptic adventure movie. I suggest watching the Ulysses cut, which is considered to be the definitive version.

NO SPOILERS!!! Who here is excited about the new Top Gun movie? I hope they do a reaction and don't watch in theaters. For our sake. I think the new movie did what the original was trying to do. They really put the whole meaning of the top gun fighter pilot school on screen this time. I was expecting a lot from this new movie and I think it delivers. How do you think it stands up to the original? Again No Spoilers Please. Just looking for a general A to B comparison here.

Big fan of TG Maverick here! 🙋🏻‍♂️ I was an 80s kid and vividly remember seeing the original for the first time on TV.Seeing the sequel in IMAX was one of my favourite cinema experiences. It was also the movie that got me back into the cinema since before the pandemic began.

If you guys liked Deadpool you should really watch the Venture Brothers. It's the comic parody that becomes better than what it's parodying!

I loved every minute of it. I really liked the original as well. But for a fighter pilot movie, the original did not have enough fighter piloting in the movie IMO. Not by choice alone I'm sure. Limits of budget, jet filming time, and cgi were all contributing factors I'm sure. The new movie has everything I was hoping for, and a much more... (mature? seasoned? not sure what word I'm looking for) main storyline. It sucks the digital release date is so far away.

Thanks for the great reactions yous twos! Gotta keep Lock Stock up though! It’s so fucking good, also where can I put in a suggestion? You guys have to watch Crossroads with Ralph Maccio and Joe Seneca, classic movie about the blues! I’m just a bit worried about the music is all.
