Jackie Brown is my fav Tarantino so highly recommend. Very underrated.

The title for the film first came to Quentin Tarantino while visiting a production company and noticing that they had a pile of unsolicited scripts under the label "Reservoir dogs". All those scripts were fighting with each other for attention as dogs trapped in a reservoir tank. The name got stuck in his mind.

Yup, and that's how it ends. Also, I've seen this movie too many times to even estimate, and I still don't know what a reservoir dog is, but Reservoir Dogs is still my favorite Tarantino movie, it's kind of perfect. Simone I think sort of ironically mentioned Eddie Bunker, just reading his name in the opening credits as if he was random, but Eddie Bunker (Mr. Blue) is not such a random. He was a bank robber, did a lot of time in prison, became a writer who inspired a lot of other novelists and filmmakers, and he got Danny Trejo into acting. Trejo and Bunker were in San Quentin at the same time, well anyway, check it out, it's a pretty interesting little redemption and serendipity story.

This was the Directors Cut, because Blue was cut out of the movie :-)

I joined your patreon just for this movie. It's one of the one personal and intense I have ever experienced. I'm glad you enjoyed it. At some point it feels like it stops being a movie and just feels like real life. Also, Vincent Vega is Vic Vega's brother. They were supposed to star together in a never-developed sequel!
