This is a great movie. I couldn't watch the long version because for some reason mine is a different cut. Not a different speed because of different encoding which happens a lot, but a totally different cut. Random scenes are edited differently. So strange.

Certainly one of my favourite movies and definitely worth a rewatch. Di Caprio's heart-wrenching scream when he's pulling the kids out the lake is tremendous. His is one of the best acting performances I've ever seen.

Fantastic film. I watched this with my parents many years ago. When I talked to them the next day and asked them what they were up to that night they said "Just rewatching Shutter Island". When you watch it a second time and just look at every guard, every employee and every inmate's face it's almost like "how did I not see this this?"
