[Summary]

Princess & Conquest is a hybrid RPG game where you, the Knight, will have to decide the fortunes of a Kingdom, plunged into chaos after a certain “incident”!

The sudden disappearance of a powerful dragon is the spring for a series of events that will plunge the whole Kingdom into chaos! Now it’s up to you to either keep everyone in check and save the land or plunge the Kingdom into a pit of insanity.

Review:

Boy oh boy... I'm sure a lot of you already heard or even played this title.
Look, this is objectively considered a good title based on how much buzz it creates in the adult gaming scene with hundreds or even thousands of posts and threads discussing it.

I won't deny the popularity it garnered around itself. However...
This game simply shouldn't have been made on RPGMaker. It has no business having this INSANE amount of assets on such a weak engine.

The gameplay revolves around being a knight on a mission to sort out the politics in the kingdom. You can end up with wars among regions, or make peace, and of course all while taking advantage of our furry and scaly babes.

The game suffers from heavy QoL issues - starting from relatively long loading screens, to forced low resolution, to unnecessarily drawn out dialogues that cannot be instantly skipped by mashing.
Combat is absolutely nothing to write home about, since you basically move around tapping A against an enemy, then walking back when it telegraphs its attack.

I mean, this is definitely the kind of game that I can see people getting heavily invested at if they're looking for a politics and relationship management game in a world setting of furries.

What pained me the most was how beautifully drawn the art and animations, only to have them completely locked behind unfriendly gallery mode, with TONS of amazing models that you cannot view on their own.

Even though many would recommend this game in a heartbeat, I will straight up tell you to just go look up the galleries instead and save yourself the headache.
I wish the dev would consider improving the gallery so people can appreciate all the hard work put into this artwork.
