Belief is power. This is empirically true.

Hello all, and welcome back to Elseridge Academy! This release is all about the College of Divinity, Elseridge's department dedicated to the study of the Gods and divine power. We've got a bit of bonus content for you this week in the form of an extra PDF and some extra tunes, so please read on! BUT FIRST:

KICKSTARTER ANNOUNCEMENT

We're so happy to announce that we're working on our first Kickstarter! We'll be realizing Yllmourne in beautiful physical formats. You'll be able to nab a hard-cover book of the setting guide, 5 double-sided battle maps, 2 reference maps, and a set of encounter cards. Plus, we're almost certainly going to make a bunch of digital bonus content to add onto everything we've already made for the gloomy port town.

Please go follow our Kickstarter! It really helps us if you click that "Notify me on launch" button. Thanks so much!

Now: back to Elseridge!

Borough Guide

This borough guide is dedicated to the College of Divinity. If you've read the previous guides about the College of the Old Magic and the College of Druidry, you know what to expect! We've got an overview of the school, a list of classes, 6 fleshed out NPCs (with some gorgeous art), points of interest, and a table of rumors and plot hooks! If you're GMing for paladins, clerics, or other PCs wielding divine magic, this guide should give you everything you need to manage their education.

Additionally, we've created a supplement that will be relevant for many of our boroughs. The Divine Triple Trinity guide provides an overview of the primary pantheon of Gods relevant in almost every one of our settings, including information about their domains and common depictions. If you need a squad of Gods to insert into your campaign, please consider using this resource!

Maps

Our main map this week is close to dead center in the school. The College of Divinity abuts Salma's Well (the great pit at the center of campus). Canals run astride the Universal Sanctum, Adomia Library, and Temerity Square, where countless arcane duels are likely to occur in your campaigns. As with each of our Elseridge maps, we provide 5 additional aesthetic variants: Tropical, Forest, Winter, Fluxum, and Starfall.

Patrons at the Chief Courier tier also gain access to three floors of the Universal Sanctum. Within this church multiplex, students will find shrines dedicated to nine different Gods. Regardless of who you worship, you'll find a place of prayer perfect for your beliefs.

Music

In lieu of a track and variant, we have four (!) tracks this week.

  • Miracle is enchanting string music, perfect for encounters with the divine or for (you guessed it) miraculous moments
  • Dark Communion is creepy music for students who worship wicked deities
  • Oaths is a ritualistic track for students who need to vibe out a bit when they're engaged in worship
  • Sanctum is big ol' church organ music, but kinda casual so it won't be annoying in-game

Patrons at the General Messenger tier gain access to the first two minis, and those at the Chief Courier tier get the full set.

The interior maps seem to be named wrong. Level 2 is underground, while Level 3 is the second floor.

Borough Bound

Ahh, we actually meant to name the levels that! Since there are stairs leading up to main entrance, "floor 2" is the floor you walk into, with floor 1 below that, and floor 3 above.

I missed the kickstarter announcement until now, nice!
