Hope everyone is having a wonderful November! Although, where I live it still feels like summer despite it usually being quite cold around this time. Here is some insight on the current goals of the project.

Progress is going steady as we’re catching up a bit on some of the work we needed to get done, although, overall we’re a bit behind, but things come up in real life and unforeseen circumstances happen, so it has taken a bit longer to finish things as originally intended. We’re currently doing very well, finishing up most of the heavy work for the 3D level, the Inner Manor, which is probably the most complex and most unique looking scene in the entire project. We know that it has to look very good if the player will be spending much of their time within the Manor, so we put a lot of effort in designing the level and all of the assets. Finishing the foundations of that, we’ll just be polishing it up over time to improve it as we develop the other parts of the project.

We will also be opening up the Founders pledging tiers soon for those who wish to be memorialized in the game on a gravestone / tombstone! People who have already been supporting us from before automatically get access to this and we’ve kept track of you guys!

As for current status of what’s left to do for the public release, these are the final objectives which we hope we can get finished as soon as possible:

  • 2D Chibi Art: these are the overworld character sprites in the game, which we only need to do 5 of them
  • Animated 2D Portraits: these are the character sprites which are similar to the Towa, which is a thigh-up animated character, which we need to finish 3 of them
  • Title Screen / Cover Art (Basic): this is the main title screen with the 3 main girls on it, this will be animated later on, but this is almost complete, as the background and character sketches are done (will show progress update later on)
  • The Introduction CG: this is the first Ero scene with all three girls as the “introduction” of the game, which we have the design but will have to begin sketching it. This will also be animated later on
  • Minor Edits to the Manor Inner Scene: mostly adjusting the lighting, adding new particle FX like god rays and just polish, this is more of a minor thing but will be looked at for ways to improve it as the project goes on

After these are completed, we will finally release it as a development project and see where things go! Then, we’re off to completing the final things needed for the first part of the demo, which is less asset work and more of story writing and programming. But we will get there in due time, so we hope you stick around to see some of the things we have planned.
