Changelog and Updates:

General

  • Resolved Issue with closing the game on “Exit”
  • Fixed issue with multiple input detections when pressing the Escape Key
  • Combining all modular systems into the “Main Game Scene” with testing for menu functionality within the Manor Scene
  • Compilation of Royalty-free BG Music
  • Fixed an assortment of Bugs and Issues with 3D models and assets
  • Multithreading for texture caching being implemented (smoother performance than godot’s real time loading of textures)

Level Design  *this took the most time*

  • Rework on the Manor 3D scene, functioning in game with collision and animated effects (doors, flames, fog, water)
  • The long process of Importing all the 3D assets into the project file from Blender, creating a prefab of the object while fixing any Normals and Texture issues
  • Changed the room layouts within the Manor, removed irrelevant rooms (Dining Hall, Gallery)
  • VFX Flames Animation for Candles and Fire
  • New Railing and Fix on Manor Stairs
  • Transitions between rooms completed (walls only)
  • Beginning to add Ambient Occlusion Bake Maps to most of the 3D Models in the Manor

  • Sketches for Luna, Pandora and Sistine completed.
  • Completed Luna’s Introduction CG and most of Pandora's CG

Girlfriend Mode System

  • n/a

Story and Writing

  • Minor Adjustments to Chapter 1
  • Chapter 0 / Introduction almost complete
  • Storyboarding out future Chapters and Events
  • Rework of Affection System to give additional bonus CGs, Scenes and Content when gaining affection through spending time with the character or date/special events
