The peak of chaos (Patreon)

The temple really comes alive today, but the life inside is not something you would find described in an encyclopedia. You could try asking Lovecraft instead; if he wasn't dead, he would possibly have an answer.

I will keep this week's post shorter, as today's version of 'Lara's Story Continues' is pretty much a direct upgrade from last week's video.

The X-ray scenes with "Big Egg" were static images last week; now they are long animated scenes. There is a lot of writhing and squirming, both inside and outside. I can tell you that much.

Likewise, the temple pool comes alive with tentacles, setting the scene for the final part of Lara's story. Lara herself has other worries, though, because the temple guardian decides to explore her "back entrance" one more time.

The new part of the video is strongly reminiscent of my other project, 'Eldritch Christmas'. If you saw that, you can guess what mess lies ahead. Is Lara lucky or unlucky? You decide. :-)

So, what's coming next week? I plan to render a few scenes in Cycles to make them look better, but other than that, we will now move to the epilogue of Lara's story. It won't be long, but it will take place in a different area.

Why have an epilogue at all? The whole story happens because Lara is looking for treasure. Due to her offering to the temple entities, she will surely be rewarded. What will she receive?
