Nice video! Noticed slight changes in the color timing of the video as it went on, it kept switching between flat and colourful. Probably a render mistake.

I always think of the quote from MovieBob about "The King's Speech": "It's not meant to be enjoyed, or even watched. It's made for one purpose, and that's to catch Oscars." I feel like a lot of these films aren't even "bad" or "prententious", they're just so thoroughly by-the-numbers they are the equivalent of Summer Blockbusters for people who distinguish themselves as "smart" :/ I *want* to like these films, but mannnn

The most shocking thing to me in that entire video was that Rocky Horror Picture Show was the #2 movie of 1975. I thought it was some cult film no one saw!

I wish for more of these Mini-canons - it's good to see you on a regular basis! Oscars always annoy me, especially the disregard for animated pictures. Most the voters don't even watch the films.
