Hi yes, this was deeply disturbing and now I need to add Hereditary to the list XD 

I did have a couple audio hiccups on my end towards the middle of the film in which I needed to stop recording a couple times to fix them, however I did piece it together pretty flawlessly where you shouldn't need to pause :) 

hope you enjoy this reaction because I am now forever queasy thanks to this film, thank you lol

I am unfortunately on call tonight or I would be watching along right now. Tomorrow though. I have probably watched this movie 50 times. I have to say that after watching this so often, my favorite part is the MASTERFUL manipulation Pelle does to Dani. It has become something of an inside joke among my friends. "Do you want to hang out tomorrow?" "No I made plans with John." "I like John and he is my friend, but do you feel held by him? Does he feel like home to you?" What a slick line! There are much less subtle things in this movie I totally can't wait to see you react to. Ya know what? I should call in...

Great movie and great reaction! Whenever I watch something like this I immediately have to google everything I missed, and then a week or two later I'll watch it again try and pick up on that stuff. I definitely didn't pick up on Pelle manipulating everyone and the foreshadowing in the embroidery the first time. I think they made Christian's friends dicks on purpose so when Pelle showed some basic human decency to Dani it made us trust and like him more just by contrast.

Haha! I managed to get enough time between calls to watch the whole thing. I could have put the DVD in for the watch along, but I didn't need to. First off, I need to commend your ability to IMMEDIATELY identify and dislike the garbage man. That is a skill a few of my female friends could maybe use some mentoring on if you have time. Somebody was raised right. :) I think it may be a function of your well developed empathy. Empathy is a curse and a blessing. One often overlooked benefit of being empathetic is the abilty to learn the lessons of those who had to experience them the hard way, without having to experience them the hard way. I am glad that your empathy didn't make you sensitive to the point where you couldn't finish the movie. It's a lot to process and this movie actively tries to fuck with you. I know you said you would not watch this again, but when you do, you will catch things you didn't connect on the first viewing. You are part of the family now...

Haha this is an awesome comment! See I thought maybe I was wrong for liking that little smile on dani's face maybe that's part of the fuckery of it all but yes garbage man deserved what came to him lol
