I wasn't being dramatic when I said I was a blubbering mess at the second half of this! Enjoy!

Btw, I'm not sure how many versions there are of this movie, but I rented it off of Amazon in case anyone wants to know!

There's only one version as far as I know so it's all good.

I look forward to checking out your reaction!

I'm at work 😑 so I couldn't do the watch-along. But I already know what happens so I skipped ahead to the last 30 mins...Damn girl, I hope you had someone to hug afterwards because you were truly wrecked. Some snuggles from Poe would have worked too. It honestly got to me how tore up this movie made you. I don't blame you one bit for wanting more lighthearted and fun movies to react to for a while. Yes Riley, you were a real mess, but the most adorable mess I've ever seen. Thank you... you made my Saturday less of a drag. 😊

Wow, I know I said to bring the Kleenex (which you didn't!), but that was harder than I've ever seen anyone cry in my entire life, especially when the "flicker show" started. I feel kind of guilty watching you go through all of that, like being complicit in someone's torture, and I can't imagine what it's going to be like for you having to edit it for Youtube. Despite being very long and very sad, it's a great movie. Thanks for enduring it to bring us this video :).

Yeah, I know what you mean, I felt it too. It was a guilty feeling watching her endure this movie all the way through, just for our entertainment. When you see someone cry that much and that hard, you can't help but want to just give them a big hug and console them. At least that's how I feel.

Your reaction is honest and beautiful. Don't ever apologize for showing emotion, it's kind of what it's all about here. Just wish you'd stay on for a minute or two after the movie ends to give us a little summation . I know it's a long movie, but the end feels abrupt. I need closure lol.

I'm glad you liked the reaction, I know I'm a bit dramatic but I also cry over spearmint commercials haha I def ended it on an abrupt note but I had to go collect myself a bit XD I'll have the commentary on the youtube video!

I thought about waiting until June 1st to join as a patron, but I needed to experience Shawshank and the Green Mile as a watch along right-away. :)

As you probably know we love reaction videos as it lets us enjoy our favorite movies for the "first time" thru someone else and the more they enjoy it the more we do. When reactors cry it's that much better. Now when you said your head hurt I felt bad about that as we are not a bunch of sadists here lol. Hope you recovered. And wow, you certainly chose the right makeup as it passed the no run test for sure!

Del's crime IS revealed in the book... He was young, and MANY years do pass between then and his time on the Mile, AND he does repent SINCERELY. But yeah, you might not feel so bad for him after reading the book. I still do, especially all these years later, but I know how repentance etc works 🤷‍♂️
