The Importance of "Sacrifice for Humanity" (Patreon)

In this group we've discussed several times the significance of "sacrifice for humanity" as part of our life, practice and ascension. I will also be doing a public video soon on the channel covering "The 3 Factors of Gnosis" which are:

1. Death (death of ego)

2. Birth (transmutation)

3. Sacrifice (helping others)

I write this post in the meantime because there's some of you who have expressed to me that eventually you really want to share spiritual teachings and Gnosis as I do, and that is great! But also remember that "sacrifice for humanity" comes in many forms. As just one example: What good is it if we create a great YouTube channel or write a best-selling book but we are still uncharitable to our family, colleagues or other close ones around us? In that case, we probably still have more inner work to do before taking on bigger endeavours. So, this third factor always starts with wherever we find ourselves, and doesn't usually start with dreaming of big ideas of "being a hero for everyone"... It may be the case that you do in fact do something on a large scale for others, but we should always help others according to our abilities - for some that means listening to a few people around us without judgement, for others it means helping communities on a larger scale... whichever form it is, what is important is the sense that other people are not separate from us and therefore when we help others, we are also helping ourselves.

Attached to this post is an essay from our friend and creator of The Gnostic Method app. It is about clarifying this aspect of "sacrifice for humanity". It is also about a fellow student of Gnosis, a famous actress, who is following her intuition from her Being to do what she knows is her own form of "sacrifice for humanity". I wanted to share this with you because she is just one great example of how we can follow a calling from our inner guidance in the heart to do what we feel we should, regardless of what our ego or others think.
