Believe it or not, the very first non-mainline episode of Sacred Symbols back in September of 2018 was dedicated to Insomniac's smash-hit PS4-turned-PS5-and-PC game Spider-Man. We were only 10 or so episodes into the main show, Sacred+ didn't even remotely exist yet, and that episode quietly lives here on Patreon still, yes, but buried in the annals of Last Stand past. As such, and in commemoration of Spider-Man 2's imminent launch on PlayStation 5, I (Colin) thought I'd sit down with my brother Dagan -- a newbie to all things Insomniac Spider-Man -- for a trio of episodes of +. This is the first of the bunch, a deep dive into the original game that spawned some meaty DLC packs (which we'll cover in episode two) and an interstitial game that launched alongside PlayStation 5 (which we'll cover in episode three). That makes October a very webby month, which I guess makes some sense, all things considered. So take a trip to NYC with us, where we find a 20-something Peter Parker in yet another sticky situation...
