Hey Dükes, Do you pronounce anime the correct way? I always thought it was "eh-knee-may' but many 35 and up say "ah-knee-may"

Howdy Dukes (FYI my last name is ‘Nix’) I wanted to write in to provide another perspective on Starfield compared to what I’ve mostly heard up to now. I know I’ll be in the minority here, but I actually really like the fast travel system in the game. In fact, I doubt I would have played it otherwise. Don’t get me wrong here; I love all the previous BGS games, with Morrowind (my first) and Fallout 3 (the best) standing out the most. I had ample time to really savor and enjoy the games back then and loved roaming from place to place. Fast forward to the present, I’m now married to an amazing woman, have 2 young kids, and work in the aerospace industry supporting space exploration. So that ample time isn’t around anymore. Because of fast travel, I’m almost done with the main quest and debating going straight to NG+ (such a great implementation of an otherwise common feature) or finishing up the 30+ open quests in my log first. I would have likely missed out on a classic without the fast travel system. Hopefully you and others can relate, and have a you know you’ve found your soulmate when she says “I’ll take the kids to a park” just to give you an extra hour of game time kind of day.

Hey Dukes! No question but I just wanted to say I started listening to the podcast for the Starfield impressions and genuinely love the show. Don’t own a Xbox but I may pick up one of the series X hidden in the back room at my work so I can check out Starfield. Looking forward to listening each week now and wishing both of you the best health possible!

Hello Dukes, How would you guys feel, if one day you woke up and the CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella drops a bomb shell of a news "Game Pass is shutting down because it's not profitable". To me this would be more shocking than the Activision blizzard acquisition news. How would you guys feel if that day ever came? Would you be happy? Horrified? Disappointed?

ChristianLikeTheReligion

What’s up guys! Hearing you guys boost the aspect of eating well and working out to your audience (me included), I’ve been even more inspired to dedicate work towards my bodybuilding journey. Sometimes we, gamers, get a bad rap of being unhygienic and overweight, but with you guys heading the “health is wealth” army, I feel like this community of ours can get better at being healthy and looking after ourselves. Although, I’m sure we’ll all be as socially awkward as ever lol Thanks for all the insight and rants. Keep the content coming. Peace!

Hey there Chad Kroeger and Ice Cube, wanted to ask…. Yes or no for mayo on a hot dog. Personally I find it absolutely gross but I love it on sandwiches. On a more serious question, with Jim “gollum hands on a controller” Ryan announcing his retirements , who would you see as a good replacement for Philly cheesesteak Spencer if/when he steps down? Have a lovely golden girls retirement kind of day.

Hey Dukers, Facebook marketplace is flooded with people selling their series S for as low as $100 and they aren’t selling. Should this be concerning to Xbox? I think it’s a major problem and shows people aren’t sticking in the ecosystem and continuing to pump money into gamepass.

Hey Dukes, I've been playing Starfield a lot, but this game crashes with at a pretty high frequency on my Series S. During long gaming sessions, the crashes are consistent and predictable. I'm level 26, and the game probably crashed to the home screen or froze over twenty times. I've never had an issue like this before. Most games only crash once or twice if at all during a playthrough. Have you guys heard about this elsewhere or am I alone? Any tips?

Dukes, I've done it. Ive taken the plunge and hopped into PC gamepass at what seems like the best time. 12$ a month seems like a great deal to keep me from buying games and saving for the upcoming holiday season. Lamplighter's League, Forza Motorsports and Cityskylines 2 makes it worth my pentence for this month alone. Do you think there will be enough output for someone to remain in gamepass with fresh releases beyond 2023??? Have a because of inflation we are going to have to raise the price of V-Bucks in Fornite kind of day 🤙

I can’t think of a witty greeting. In your opinion, how high are the chances that Call of Duty MW3 is going in to game pass day one? With the abk deal going down before the release date. Thank you.

Good day Dukes, I hope you both are well! A few weeks back, you discussed the possibility of a sequel for Starfield. My question would be, given the expansive nature of Starfield with 1000 planets etc, could it be possible that Starfield remains as a single game where future stories that would typically be sequels are added as dlc instead? In my head this makes sense given that the galaxy layout would remain the same (minus additional systems added) unlike with fallout, where each game is a new location. Granted I have not finished the game so perhaps the endgame story discounts this theory. Hope you have a "got so much Caelumite and no idea what to do with it" kind of day.

Hey double D's, Have you guys watched Castlevania Nocturne? What did you think? What's your history with the franchise? Who's your favorite Belmont? Have a, "Holy shit, I can't wait for season 2", kind of day.

Hey boys, hope all is well. Wanted to talk about Forza’s reviews, specifically how reviewers either aren’t fans of the genre or unfavorably compare this game to Forza Horizon (a completely different style of racing game). What is the value of a review like this? Shouldn’t a reviewer, at minimum, go in with an open mind to the genre if they’re not used to it? Seems like reviews are not reviewing this game on its own merits, and are being reductive for the sake of being reductive. That’s all I got, thanks and have a “im not a racing game fan and am reviewing Forza for my website” kind of day.

Hey Dukes, The Lamplighters League is finally out on gamepass and I’m really loving it! It has a few gameplay twists where you can really approach combat scenarios in multiple different ways, allowing the player to give themselves a leg up in the action or really screw themselves over if they aren’t careful. Have you guys had a chance to check it out? Really think Cog will love this one. Have a “it’s finally spooky season and my backlog is a true horror movie” kind of day!
