As we gather once more for an episode of Sacred Symbols x Defining Duke here on Sacred+, we do so with a brief agenda. Top on the list is going over our respective thoughts on the recent FTC-related Xbox leaks, which is something our audience has asked us to do as a single unit. We like to give you what you want, so that's up-top. But deeper in the show, you'll find an array of topics to complement our up-front story. Where have all the PlayStation exclusives gone? And does it even matter, anyway? Will Sony find success in the games-as-a-service space? What's our gaming roadmap for the rest of the year? All of that -- and more! -- on the other side of play.

Anyone else having a long delay for these episodes to show up on Spotify? Not long ago, it was just a couple minutes

I played Halo Infinite and loved it. I played Starfield and bounced off it. Is something wrong with me?

MetroidIsBetterIn2D

No. Halo is more satisfying on a moment-to-moment gameplay level, while Starfield has a lot of factors that slows down the momentum of the player. Halo games are like Mario games: you pick up the controller and it immediately feels great to move around your character and engage with the environment. I'm saying this as someone who is currently enjoying Starfield for what it is.

I'm into space and feel that's why I didn't like it

Love these crossovers. It's good to exchange ideas and opinions. I recently learned of the FTC Microsoft leak. I was disgusted of the emails regarding Nintendo and valve

Also Colin, you’re waaaaaaaaay too caught up on this dude. Who cares man, we don’t need to be so paranoid about this. It’s starting to feel like you intentionally ruin things you may enjoy for yourself just to cope with them not being on your platform of choice. In my mind I couldn’t care less if the industry follows suit with Xbox, but this isn’t my entire life as I understand it is yours with LSM and your hobbies. Not everything needs to be JUST LIKE PlayStation. That’s what makes them unique. Let Xbox, Xbox and let PlayStation be PlayStation. BuT wHaT iF tHeY aDopt XbOx tEnDenCies?!? If we’re so worried about this than isn’t PlayStation a lot weaker than you lead them on to be? It sure seems that way if they’re folding to the losers constantly. I love the shows and everything you guys do but SHEESH…. Matty and Chris spoke pure facts in this tho.

No reason for PlayStation to talk about games until ready so they can just take time

Crossover episodes are some of my favorite, thanks to all of the crew for their time

Big fan of the Brady Bunch-styled goodbye at the end

You guys didn’t need to bleep out the AC3 spoiler at the end, it’s an 11 year old bad game.

Question on the Xbox series S being majority of Xbox console sale - I've had 2 experiences with this, and most recent was the release of baldurs gate 3 when I was round at my cousin's house (he has a Xbox series S) whilst discussing the drama surrounding it being delayed on Xbox, he was completely unaware that the Xbox series S is a less powerful console and looked pretty annoyed. Do you think that parents or less tech savvy people are buying the Xbox series S and believing it's the series X equivalent without the disc drive l like the ps5? I know my experience is totally anecdotal but I bet the number is definitely not 0 and potentially high? Thoughts? Love the cross overs Regards AJ

What was the big laugh about at the end of the AIDS joking? I didn't hear what was mumbled.

“Crossover!” 😄 Matty nailed how I feel about Starfield after almost doing everything in it. Although, I disagree with the Terrormorph mission being horror-esque. Nothing is scary in Starfield when you’re just OP.

Cog thinks Hellblade 2 is gonna be as big or bigger than Starfield? Lol WHAT!??
