Gather ye round, for it's time for us to unleash some of our most controversial opinions on an unsuspecting citizenry. The Sacred Boys gather with 15 'hot takes' in tow -- five each -- to mystify, astonish, and amuse even the most entrenched and loyal of PlayStation fans. (Hell, you'll probably agree with a lot of them yourself.) From The Order: 1886, Returnal, Horizon, and The Last of Us, to Vita, PS3, PSVR2, and Sony itself, we have a whole lot to say, good and bad, about any number of PlayStation-related topics. The only question, then, is if you'll give us a kind pass or a firm stand down. The choice is yours.

The only hot take I can think of that people consistently react to is Death Stranding being one of my favorite games of all time. I agree that The Order was awesome. The atmosphere and visuals were top notch and the gunplay was pretty fun with the thermite and tesla weapons #PROTOTYPE

I owned a PS5 and sold for unrelated reasons... But I won't buy it again until they fix this horrible design. Ps1 was boring, Ps2 slim 3 slim and ps4 slim and pro all look fantastic... so what happened.

Fantastic episode. Horizon is definitely not underrated in my opinion. Had to quit the game because Aloy would not shut the fuck up for 2 seconds and let me actually play the game 😬

PRETENTIEUX

Ben Stiller's role in the movie "Heavyweights" where he is in control of a summer camp for overweight kids has got to be my favorite. That movie is incredible if anyone hasn't seen it, especially if you have kids. It's almost on the level of Sandlot which is probably the best film ever made.

My take on the best portable Playstation device, not that anyone is asking. 1. Must be able to play past games (from ps4,3,2 etc) that are available in the current library. 2. Digital only games downloaded via WiFi, so the costs of making physical games is not an issue. 3. Can stream current PS5 games via the PS5 via WiFi. 4. Expandable memory with base of 1 gig. 5. Can stream major streaming services. Just like Colin said, should be modelled on the PS4 Pro. I would pay 400 bucks for device like this. Especially if I could trade in my PS4 pro on one at Gamestop or whatever. Also, if I could switch back and forth between this portable device and my PS5.

#prototype would love another one of these maybe a SS/DD episode of these would be very fun to see the banter between everyone. Maybe to make it a true Olympics in the LSM family the absolute mess SS/DS/PU would be really fun to listen to.

This is my hot take. Spiderman (2018) is not as good as everyone makes it out to be. Its not the best spiderman game, story is nothing to write home about, and some of the missions in it are absolutely dreadful. Swinging through NY was fun though.
