YouTube Rabbit Holes, Bucket List, Dogs, Buying A Home | Constellation, Episode 14

Friends, it's good to be back for another episode of Constellation. This week, the Brothers Moriarty welcome Defining Duke co-host MrMattyPlays and LSM Executive Producer Dustin Furman to the roster, and as usual, the conversations are wide-ranging. Matty is on the verge of buying his first house, and asks what our respective experiences were purchasing our own homes. What key pieces of wisdom and advice can we bestow upon him? Since the four of us are all ardent YouTube fans, Dustin thought a topic all about the vaunted YouTube rabbit hole was appropriate. What weird, wild, and wacky stuff do we lose hours to on Google's famous video platform? Dagan's mind is on something a little more morose this week, but humorously so. What items, if any, do we have on our bucket list? What do we hope to accomplish before we pass away? Finally, Colin brings up a broad topic -- Dogs -- but narrows it down significantly with the following question: What role do dogs play in your current daily life? Dustin yes am a fan of Adam Beard Meats Food. He is a gammer as well and love 80 and 90 nostalgia and video games. Which is why I like him. LETS GET IT!

I discovered Hoof GP about two weeks ago and can't stop watching it. I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Damon Pond

Dustin check out Wendigoon and Oki's Weird Stories.

Damn I've listened through _three_ times and I have no idea when they talk about 'dogs buying a home'... would be keen for a timestamp, could be useful for reincarnation purposes. Otherwise great episode!

Highly recommend Summoning Salt if you guys have never watched, every few months he turns out an incredible video doc about the speedrunning history of a game. It's well research and edited

I feel about cats the way Dustin feels about dogs. I do feel it's true I have the same connection as people have with dogs they can have with cats and I do have with my cats so I gotta disagree with Colin there. I have a couple registered as emotional support animals because they help my anxiety and depression so much

My youtube algorithm is on point, 90% of the time when a video ends I get an episode of Best of the Worst by RLM

Thank you guys for bringing Cart Narcs to my attention, I wound up pausing the podcast to go see "I'm a fat a-hole" and proceeded to watch their videos for over an hour

Check out Francis Bourgeois on YouTube, a British trainspotter whos purest enthusiam for the dullest hobby will warm the cockles of your heart.

Dagan my Dad just turned 70 and he watches more YouTube than anyone I know. I'm 40 and watch a lot about just the things I'm interested in or for DIY instructions for whatever I'm doing. But my Dad goes deep down the rabbit hole like you. Keep enjoying what you enjoy

Col, Easter Island is a very cool place. It was my first Overseas destination when I started travelling, I had to change flights in Santiago but the first land outside of an airport I ever stepped foot on outside of Australia was Easter Island.

The PSVR2 controller dock is probably the worst Playstation accessory that I've ever purchased. It's unreal how unintuitive it is to get those controllers into place, and it has the nerve to boast a "click-in" system on the box. But it does look pretty dope... I'll give it that.
