It's true: We're about seven years late on this one. But better late than never, as they say, for I (Colin) have recently experienced my very first Trails game and am eager to talk about it. To do so, I enlisted the help of the person who convinced me to give the game a go to begin with: MrMattyPlays. Together, we take a trip to Erebonia and delve deep into the life and times of Thors Military Academy's Class VII. And hey, don't let the anime aesthetic fool you, either. What's perhaps most interesting about Trails of Cold Steel is its subject matter: The military-industrial complex, class divides, the haves and the have nots, and war and peace. Some with us, friends, as we spoil the crap out of this awesome Falcom game. Who knows? Maybe we'll even develop a very special social link with each other along the way.
