Childhood Bedrooms | KnockBack: The Retro and Nostalgia Podcast Episode 215

It's time for us to once again go back in time, not to celebrate and discuss a movie, video game, or TV show, but rather our own childhoods. Specifically: Our bedrooms growing up. These were our fortresses of solitude, places where we can regroup, study, be alone, and generally do whatever we want. Video games. Toys. TV. Computers. And, yes, schoolwork as well. Lots happened in our childhood bedrooms, which is why we're pleased to spend some two hours talking about our fondest and funniest memories of the places where we laid our heads to rest at night as children, and spent an awful lot of time in between, too. A new episode of KnockBack launches each Monday morning. Colin, my dude, I’ve heard you briefly mention a tangential experience with the show, but no idea you were a Dragon Ball fan to the extent that you had two posters, one behind that chair and the other behind the computer. I love that show to this day, it’s fuckin’ rad. I know Micah and Chris are both real into it. Did you just fall out of love or were just never deep into it? Would love a KnockBack about it one day. Huge for anime in the West.

I remember my Dad would do the same, random trips to where he grew up.

The ocd thing… I have it too. We’ll need to talk about it at some point. I never realized anyone else had this when I was younger. I don’t know where it came from. I have lots to comment on about this episode but I’m running out to meet Col for breakfast so I’ll be back. ❤️❤️

Col, I recommend acid if you're intrigued. My only advice would be to do it outside of your home. In my experience, I think more clearly and have the thoughts you've mentioned wanting to tune into while I was outside of my home. The beach or a cottage on the lake would be my recommendations.
