We have heard the demands and have answered. Joining us to discuss everything Halo Infinite is Mr. Chris Ray Gun himself. The Duke take a close look at the emergent, sandbox gameplay for Infinite's multiplayer and what makes the experience click so well. While the foundation itself is strong, there are nagging issues that remain. Things like battle pass progression, lacking playlist options, broken custom games, and much more have shown that despite the six year development time that there is much work left to be done for 343.

My personal ranking of the Halo PvP multiplayers: Halo Reach Halo Infinite Halo 5 (by far the best Infection mode in the franchise) Halo CE Halo 2 Halo 3 Halo 4 My main issue with Halo 3 was that the starting AR and pistol were so horrible that it dragged the whole experience down. I also hate BR starts so that didn't alleviate the problem. Infinite, 5 and Reach all have super well designed, viable starting ARs and pistols. Absolutely phenomenal campaign and custom games in 3 though. Halo 5's multiplayer is probably objectively better than Reach, but 5 had pretty bad BTB. Reach had Invasion too.

I'd probably swap 2 with 5 on your list but that's mostly nitpicking and nostalgia talking. Halo 3's multiplayer always seemed overrated to me so it's refreshing to see someone who ranks it similar to me :)

Great episode as always. Can't wait to dive into the game myself when I've got some time

Great episode just (possibly) minor correction- The Halo Infinitie Multi-player is not a Beta, it's a full release. Microsoft themselves are simply referring to it as an early release for the multi-player mode. The campaign release in December will have no bearing on the multiplayer mode
