We've somehow made it 100 episodes, and it's all thanks to you, our precious listeners. To celebrate our auspicious milestone, we thought we'd do something a little different: Answer 100 minutes worth of listener questions, comments, concerns, thoughts, and ideas. You can find that at the end of the normal show. In the meantime, though, there's a ton of news to get through, and we discuss it all. We cover Naughty Dog's impressive 30+ minute State of Play for The Last of Us: Part II, discuss the NFL's renewed exclusive license with Electronic Arts, chat about Sony's strong PlayStation Plus lineup for June, consider the future of Silent Hill upon the reveal of some random SH-related content for a completely different game, opine about the new Dragon Quest action-RPG, and much, much more. Oh, and that aforementioned 100 minutes of listener Q&A? We cover our favorite demos, the future paths of Final Fantasy VII Remake, the new high water mark set by The Witcher on Netflix, the dearth of dinosaur games, Insomniac's possible direction with Sunset Overdrive, and so on and so forth. Thanks again for making Sacred Symbols a smash hit. We couldn't do it without you.

Got my content to listen to on my bike ride. Congrats on 100.

BigArty

I love you C and C!

francisco gutierrez

Fucking proud of you two knuckleheads. Congratulations

Andres

FUCK YEAH 4 HOURS!!! WE'RE EATING TONIGHT BABY!!!

Antonio Pereira

4 hours? Love it! Congrats on reaching 100 episodes. You guys are killing it.

Jack Doheny

congrats guys on the success couldn't be more well deserved love this podcast so much.

Teny Kuti

Filled with a weird sense of pride that all these shows have made it to 100 episodes, and I’ve been here since the beginning. I got in on the ground floor and was able to watch this endeavour of CLS rise to new heights. Never would I have assumed that CLS would be the 2nd biggest gaming Patreon on the planet. So thank you Colin, I’m proud to be here

Matthew Major

👍🏻😎 Congratulations C&C thank you for everything!!

Anonymous

Two episodes of the best Playstation (sometimes not) podcast in one!? Nice!! Thank you both for your time and effort, and here's to many more!! 🍾🍾

Brock Smith

CONGRATULATIONS Gents!! 🥳 (Also, you need to do FFVII Remake yourselves. I like the other guys but I want to personally hear your all’s opinions).

Adam Barnes

I reckon you get Dustin and Matty to do the spoilercast for FFVII. You have more than enough on your plate, Colin

Andres

Colin - I'd really prefer to have you and Chris do the spoilercast. If Matty and Dustin do it, I'll be honest and say I won't listen. My ideal request is actually a 4th option, which is to hear you and Dagan do a knockback on it - almost like a sequel to your FF7 episode.

Anonymous

Thank you!

Marco Maluf

Congratulations Colin, glad to be part of this! ❤️🖖🏼

Anonymous

Yea let's give ff7 remake to Matty and Dustin!

Anthony J Sanchez

Congrats on 100! Let's keep it going and get to 200!

SteelChevron

I can honestly say I've been listening since ep.1 I think it was pure coincidence that I found the podcast because I didn't know Chris or didn't follow any of Colin's previous endeavours except for when you saw him on IGN. I think it was summer 2018, I remember playing Kirby's Epic Yarn on my Wii, the weather was hot as shit holy crap that summer was warm.

Piston Pants

Colin I personally would want to hear you and Chris do the FF7 remake spoilercast. With respect I feel you burned spoilercasts on Doom and Re3 which to be fair don't have much in terms of story that a spoilercast seemed necessary. You always talk Colin of your affinity to FF7 back in the day and want to get your take on certain aspects of what they did in the remake which I will just leave at that. Congrats on 100 episodes and for more success to you and Chris in the future.

Aaron Rossen

6min in and you already got a literal lol out of me with the alqueda joke. Hahaha.

Matthew Young

Hey Colin, Of all the options you presented for the FF7R spoiler cast I think the best is to wait until you have the time and do it right. I can’t speak for everyone but I was excited to hear your detailed impressions and I’d rather wait than not get it at all. Thanks! :)

Ryan Rumsey

I’ll echo the other posts about waiting for Colin’s opinions on FF7 Remake. The other guys did a fine job on the Persona spoilercast, but I’m a Patron to follow and hear Colin’s opinions on things, so I’m not too interested in creating a team to take things over.

Anonymous

Very nice, 100 epps yous guys!

Ryan Harvey

I’m so happy! Can’t wait to listen to this episode . Here’s to many hundreds more!

Ryan Harvey

Can’t wait for your next episode PS5 101: The Games.

Brett Carlson

I lived in Seattle for almost 5 years as it was my final duty station in the Navy, and I can say with absolute confidence it is one of the best cities in the world. Has the best food in terms of restaurants. So many restaurants on every street and all of them beautiful. The temparet rainforest of the PNW is utterly breathtaking and tranquil. On a clear summers day the snowcapped Mt Rainer just towers over the area as a backdrop. Such a tranquil place to live.

Alex Bolton

I come to work in Bremerton quite a bit from Virginia, and man I always love coming out that way. Taking the ferry into the city and then coming back, every chance my work gives to go to out there I try and take it. You've got an absolutely beautiful place to live

Joe West

Please guys. I want to hear you guys’ opinion on FFVII Remake. Even though I don’t care about P5R, I absolutely loved the discussion with Matty & Dustin, but for this one I really want COLIN and CHRIS especially Colin as I know you’re a bug fan of the original and I want to see how you think it shapes up. Maybe you could make a poll but at the very least don’t just not do it. I really hope I don’t sound entitled because I love you guys work so much and will always support you, but I am here for you two’s opinion’s specifically.

Alex Bolton

Congratulations to you, Chris, and Dustin. 100 episodes is no small feat, thank you for the almost two years of killer entertainment! This is without a doubt the best gaming centric podcast I have listened to, and I will continue to support it as long as you all continue to do it.

Jordan Avery

Congrats on 100. Dustin and Matty are great, but I want to hear Colin and Chris do the FF7R spoiler cast and I will happily wait until your schedules clear so you can finish it.

Tony Rivera

Can Dagan animate this epic battle of the 9-year-olds? It would be amazing.

KomakiKhaos

We fucking did it guys. 100 episodes!

Explosivebob

I vote for Matty and Dustin to do the final fantasy remake spoilercast. I thought their previous spoilercast was great!

gnawtyFOX

Just in here to say I love what Colin and Company are doing over here!

Sumojoe118

I would prefer to hear you guys' review of Final Fantasy 7. Especially Colin as you are such a big fan of the series and the original FF7. I thought the game was phenomenal and I don't mind waiting for you guys to get to it.

Anonymous

I loved Matty and Dustin but FF7R is something I want to hear Colin and Chris's thoughts and opinions on. Thanks for your hard work guys.

Douglas Morreale

Please keep Colin and Chris on the FF7 discussion. I subbed to the YT and became a Patron to hear Colin's thoughts on things, not Matty or whoever else.

Bogey Zero

Definitely want to hear from Colin and Chris on the FF7 spoilercast.

Stephen Short

Sounds like you guys just aren't that interested in playing or talking about it. Having matt and Dustin do it makes sense if it takes that thing off your plate, and you guys can always go back and speak on it later.

Richard Duflo

Ah man, I had that demo disc from Pizza Hut that Chris mentioned. It had Metal Gear Solid on it. That’s how I discovered that series. Ended up being my favorite series. Thanks 90s Pizza Hut <3

TheBufferPiece

I felt like the P5R one was perfect since it's a game that Colin and Chris didn't have an interest in, but Final Fantasy is a series that Colin (especially) has a lot of knowledge in. I'd much rather push it off instead of having Matty and Dustin do it. No offense meant at all towards them, they were great on their episode.

TheBufferPiece

You're not crazy Colin, Teeter Totter is a word I've used/heard for a seesaw

Saulius Vekteris

Congratulation on episode 100 guys !!! ps. Colin just curious why you left on cold Bioshock 2 game? :) In my opinion its better game than Infinite. Well I hope one day you guys do an episode on this game. Cheers

Anonymous

Hi guys, Hope this finds you well. From the opinions given I would prefer wait until summer and have you two doing the spoilercast. Keep up the amazing work.

Anonymous

I like the Dustin and Matty option with FF7 Remake

PissJug

Congrats on 100!

GameSimp

I’d say do the matty and Dustin option or the later summer option. Congrats on 100!

Grabilicious

Following up on liking media with dark representation of religious stuff. One film I would recommend the Amazon funded remake of Suspiria to you Colin. Surprisingly good quality, very dark and gruesome but excellent performances by Tilda Swinton and Dakota Johnson and tied into 20th century German history quite interestingly.

D'Ante Almo

I’m going through The Last of Us trophies as well. I’m done with everything but the multiplayer trophies. I hate multiplayer but I’m really trying because this is also a platinum I really want.

Andrew B

Definitely disagree with Chris about simulations (in regards to Madden discussion). Yes the goal of a football sim is to be a real-life sim of the sport, but the quality and innovation within a sim can vary widely and I think CLS fans understand what happens to a product with no competition. There are a lot of innovative mechanics Madden simply will not try since there is no need for the risk, some might be bad but some might have been great. I can't tell you how frustrated I've become with the 'feel' of player movement in Madden in recent years which has actually led me to stop playing the franchise all together. I would have welcomed some competition to that corner of the gaming world and am quite disheartened that it will be more of the same for years to come.

Jack Sibert

Colin, Maybe do the FF7R spoiler cast on Knockback? I know Dagan really likes FF7 and it would be neat to hear you guys compare and contrast it with the original. I think it would be fine if you needed to do this much later in the year if needed It could function as a spoiler cast and retro game analysis

Marcus Brown

Happy 100!!! Insane to think this started in 2018. So happy to have been here since the beginning. Here's to 100 more. ❤ ya guys.

Anonymous

I personally want to hear your and Chris' take on FF7R. I don't care when the spoliercast is done, so whenever you are able to fit it in I am down with.

Jorge Sosa

Anyone watch MegaMan nt warrior? I liked it. I don't think we got the final season in the US.

Jose Horrach

Teeter totter is absolutely a thing. It's just a baby seesaw.

Zack Forney

I thought it was really fitting that the girl in last of us was playing Hotline Miami. One of the appeals of the game is how it’s absurdly violent in a cartoonish way, while The Last of Us is the complete antithesis of that and is pushing back on violence for violence sakes. I don’t think it was a slight against Hotline, but Ellie’s brutal stabbing of that girl juxtaposed Hotline Miami is really interesting

Dave Carsley

For me personally, I do like the other guys, but I'd much rather hear Chris -- and especially Colin given his history with JRPG games -- talk about Final Fantasy Vii Remake, whether now or later. It's already been two months; it's not as if fading relevance is a huge issue at this point. That's just my opinion though. I get plenty of content from CLS for my money, so I don't always need to get what I want.

Samuel Ashley

First and foremost, congrats on the 100th episode! It’s great to see such an awesome podcast flourish more and more as time passes. In other thoughts, I think most people will agree that moving your podcast from Tuesday to Friday has been a wise choice (even though I voted against it). But I will say that I believe your reading of “the drop” has taken a slight hit. Some of the great bloopers and typos that we have grown accustom to are being fixed in the article by the time you read it a week later. For example, on this last weeks article read in this episode, the write up for Pong Quest was written in an entirely different language. I had my fingers crossed that this mistake would make it all the way to the episode, but unfortunately some days later it was fixed. Who’s to say how often these updates are happening, but it does confirm that the hot mess y’all are reading a week later isn’t quite the same degree of mess that it’s in when it comes out of the oven. Anyways I found the mistake quite funny and I figured y’all would too. Congrats again on the milestone and keep up the great work!

Dave Carsley

Colin, I just replayed the original Mass Effect (in fact, the whole franchise), and in this one specific situation, I have to advise you to be a nerd for once and play it on PC!! It's like $5 on Orgin and you can *very easily* mod it to look and play better. And believe me, while Mass Effect 2 and 3 don't need such mods as much, Mass Effect 1 really, REALLY does.

Frank G.

Finally finished it. Congratulations on all your successes (no typo). Love you guys stay well.

Anonymous

Just wanted to pop in and point out that the reason that Shadow of the colossus shows up in Reign over me is that its a movie about Adam Sandler's character dealing with PTSD after his family is killed in the 9/11 tragedy and he deals with it by being obsessed with a game that revolves around toppling these large beings.

Liam Mcnulty

Hey Colin, I hope you don't mind this question, it's regarding review copies for TLOU2; even though Sonys PR team seems to have contempt for you and Chris, and not giving you any codes, have you thought about asking Neil Druckmann directly? I understand he's a friend of yours, is he aware of how you're unfairly treated? He might throw a copy your way (literally throw), it's not begging when asking a friend lol. Congratulations on episode 100, here's to 1,000,000,000 more 🍻 lol

Kenneth Oms

That was hotline Miami she was playing. The hotline Miami twitter account tweeted right after the video and said “hotline Miami available on ps vita” haha

Anonymous

What an incredible Podcast. Also, you two should really finish FF7R. No spoilers, but the context of finishing the game will drastically change your conversation/perception of where things might go in the coming years regarding this franchise. Love you both! Keep up the great work.

Robert

I'd prefer if you guys delayed the spoilercast and do it yourselves.

Anonymous

Personally, I would prefer delaying the FF7R spoilercast until a time at which you guys did it yourselves. No disrespect for Matty and Dustin, but many of us have been with you since before this game initially was announced and have been on this roller coaster ride of how it was going to turn out with you since the beginning. I think it would be a shame to not get the definitive conversation on how it all settled once you're finished with it.

Miky Sh

3 hours 50 mins?! LOL

Erk-Prime

Minecraft Dungeon grinding and this 4 hour special #greatsaturday #congrats

Will Hahn

I agree with Colin on HZD for the story. I loved the story of that game. It was so interesting. And the combat was superb.

Andrew

Played Batman Arkham Asylum Demo for hours. It was the opening fight all the way up to the first big room stealth sequence. Sister and I memorized that whole demo leading up to the game

Anonymous

I would much rather hear a Colin/Chris FF7 spoilercast.

Anonymous

I've tried listening to this podcast in it's entirety 3 times now and have failed lol. Time to start jumping around the timestamps. FYI, I think when a podcast gets around 3 hours, without a video companion, it gets hard to stay tuned in. Might just be me. To be sure, I APPRECIATE this episode's existence and the celebration of the podcast, and I want to consume it in its entirety. But wow is it a pseudo-arduous task lol.

Alec

I think it's all situational. For example I have a 5-8 hour block of work to fill, so a near 4hr listen is GREAT for me.

Alec

Madden has had such a decline. I play ncaa 14 more than madden 20, sad that its a better game. Whats even more astonishing is that ncaa got better as Madden got worse, and both are EA.

NeO JD

Chris definitely got the Claw grip from playing Halo. He can thank Walshy for that. Detective Pikachu is the best video game movie of course. Skipping a game over trophies is insane.

Oliver Johnson

I think you guys should do the spoilercast. You’ll beat FF7 eventually and want to talk about it.

Congrats on 100! Just wanted to point out that Story of Seasons isn't "another Harvest Moon spinoff," but rather the actual mainline Harvest Moon series. Marvelous has always been the developer of the Harvest Moon series, with Natsume being the western localizers. The two companies had a falling out and went their separate ways, with Natsume keeping the Harvest Moon brand in the west and taking the series in a different direction. However, Story of Seasons is considered by fans to be the "true" continuation of the main series, with new Harvest Moon games since 2014 being considered more like spinoffs or bastardizations. I don't even play the games, I just thought it was an interesting story and figured you'd appreciate the clarification.

Tony Rivera

I have to make a comment here (please share with Chris, Colin!) Frontier did an excellent job with animating dinosaurs in the park simulator Jurassic World Evolution. It’s beautiful. Not sure how they got support for those dinos but I’ve been thoroughly enjoying unlocking new embryos to incubate to just see these dinosaurs zoomed up close. Highly recommend that game (on sale perhaps) just to dick around with. It’s pretty fun for casual and semi-hardcore Park sim gamers. You may like it too Colin. LongIslandViper stream?? Lol - take care guys

Zach Brown

Here's another vote to wait for the FF7 Remake spoilercast until Chris and Colin can do it. As many have said, no disrespect to Matty and Dustin, but they're a great resource for games that aren't of interest to C&C or out of their wheelhouse. FF 7 Remake is neither. Chris played at least a bit of it every week until recently, and, Colin, you have a real history and expertise in the original game itself as well as the genre as a whole. Those of us who have followed your thoughts on the original value your opinion and are brimming with curiosity for your analysis of this new one. Good things come to those who wait, and I'm happy to wait until August or whatnot.

Anastas Lyakh

Colin, you are 100% right about Horizon ZD. It is the best PS4 exclusive IMO. Also, regarding predictable story - i do not agree with that at all, surely what is happened with the world is not a huge revelation, it is how it happened which was shocking to me. Cant wait for spoiler-cast.

Brett Carlson

So to answer Colin's question about the new Last of Us enemy being in the first game as the boss at the gym, that is half right I guess. So thats the Bloater, you only fight him once, but in the first game the enemy threw spore bombs at you that exploded, and in the sequel the Bloater has further evolved and now has growths on its body that if you shoot them the deadly spores spray all over the room. That was not a part of the enemy type in the first game. So it actually does make sense in the Canon because infected get worse and worse growth as time goes on. So in the first game the Bloater didn't have the disgusting growths all over its body, now it does. Basically the same enemy but evolved.

Zack Fair

Love your content as always Colin, Sony is losing out by not giving you access codes to the biggest Playstation podcast.

Anonymous

I can wait for the FF7 spoilercast. I just want to hear your takes on it.

Gareth Handa

Another great episode guys and thanks for answering my question.

Conor Wilson

Hotline Miami fits the TLOU because it is incredibly violent and requires quick reflexes to survive similar to their situation

Anonymous

I remember in the platformer, TY, the boss was a Cassowari. His name was Boss Cass and he was my friend.

James Pies

Anyone else disagree with Colin's take on weapon degradation not being a fun mechanic? I can understand his Far Cry 2 example with weapon jamming being annoying, but I though it worked in Breath of The Wild. It challenged the player to use different kinds of weapons they may never have tried otherwise plus it made getting the Master Sword that much more satisfying. Anyway, congrats on the 100 boys! Been here since the beginning and not going anywhere

Eduardo Banda

Thank you for this lenghty episode. Colin & Chris, have you ever played Evil Within 2? I’m playing it right now and it is a great game, reminds me of Last of us in gameplay. You should check it out guys.

Anonymous

Haven’t listened, but my take on the spoiler cast is to talk about what you have played and give the rest to Matty and Dustin. Kind of a best of both worlds scenario so you don’t feel rushed to talk about everything, but can still offer in depth opinions about gameplay and portions of the story. Matty and Dustin can fill in the gaps!

Anonymous

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles had local co-op on GameCube, but it required Game Boy Advances to be used as the controllers. In high school, we hunted numerous GameStops to find enough cables so we could all play. Also worked for Four Swords Adventures. It would have been cool if the remake used the Vita the same way, but that's a lost cause.

IanCee

I like Matty and Dustin, but I'd rather hear yours and Chris's take on FF VIIR. Wouldn't mind waiting till summer! Take care, Col

Jdummann92

I'd prefer waiting for the spoilercast until Colin and Chris beat it. They're the main reason I support the channel and seeing as they at least played for quite a while, I would rather wait and hear their opinions on it

Anonymous

Colin flexing the work by being the only connective tissue between the three tops PS podcasts. Colin & Chris, you guys are electrifying with every episode keep it up boss!!!!

Stefan Catinella

I don't personally mind weapon degradation if it's slow, or only happens if you use the weapon in a certain way. Or say, it doesn't break just gets less powerful as it degrades until it is sharpened. However I hated it in Breath of the Wild. I always ended up saving the best weapons and never using them, and felt bad when the rarer, more powerful stuff broke. So I'm kinda in the middle on this.

Stefan Catinella

I'm still struggling to finish Final Fantasy VII Remake myself, so I say go ahead and wait till you and Chris are finished and ready to talk about it. I'd prefer to get your opinion Colin as you have a pretty close affinity for the original and JRPG's in general. P.S. Have you ever played a game in the Suikoden series?

Biv

You can be against the leakers and still be disgusted by the content of the leaks.

LastStandMedia

If we do it (and it seems that's the prevailing desire), it's not gonna be 'til late summer, I would suspect.

LastStandMedia

I doubt Dagan will have the time or inclination to play it anytime soon. I suspect Chris and I will do it, but it'll be in late-summer.

LastStandMedia

It's interesting, but the suggestion is that it stayed on that Vita for at least 25 years. It's a little weird.

LastStandMedia

Thank you! There's nothing we can really do about The Drop. It's just how the timing works out.

LastStandMedia

But it doesn't really make any sense why this enemy wouldn't exist 20 years in, but it would 25. That's the only point I'm making. It's really not the end of the world. Just an observation.

Dee Han

Colin, some people (including me) are hailing the leaker as a hero because they saved $60. Going around and spoiling the story is a different thing. Plus, if it’s a disgruntled employee then ND should treat their employees better.

B00ch

i was originally going to make a few different comments on a few things like HZD, TLOU, etc. instead i'm going to say that i really appreciated your stream and thoughts on the riots/looting and encouraging peaceful protesting. i see a lot of my online friends or gaming personalities i follow kinda defend the looting. i think about saying something to my friends but they're so passionate and i don't want to lose any of my friends over twitter arguments. Stephan A Smith made a bunch of tweets today most were about the protests and tragedy of Floyd murder. then he made a couple saying "how looting is bad and doesn't support it" and he's taking such a backlash from comments, people defending it and mentioning the "boston tea party, french revolution, etc," some even calling him a "sellout."

Josh Walker

I liked that Vita nod so much, I've actually considered buying a PS4.

Nathan Favreau

Colin I had to scream ankylosaurus when you described it a called it a Stregosaurus. It is also my favorite dino. Yes he is a cool guy.

Biv

Lost Planet had one of the best MP modes ever!

Zibi Majewski

Thank you, Colin for answering my question. I have now far better understanding about everything that was annoying me in regards to your relation with Sony and I'm glad to hear you didn't let it bother you in any way. You're absolutely right, PR knows where to find you and it's up to them to stop being so petty. I can finally sleep at night, thank you 😉

LastStandMedia

I think you're gonna be missing out. It's clear that the game is gonna be amazing. But, we'll find out who's right soon enough.

LastStandMedia

Well, thank you for your kind words. I'm always gonna speak my mind, be it popular or unpopular.

Zibi Majewski

Oh, by the way. Your pronunciation of my nickname and surname were pretty solid. Especially my first (nick)name. Color me impressed. Surname is bit more harder, but I'm used to hear it the way you say it since I live in UK. The proper pronunciation would be more like "Mayevskee". It's Polish 🇵🇱 Fuck it, doesn't matter.

bix hutch

Colin, you guys have to do the FF spoiler cast. You being such a fan of the series I’ve been dying to get your take on the ending. I’ve seen so many people who are not only unfamiliar with the original but unfamiliar with the series as a whole talk about it. I can’t help but be a little annoyed hearing opinions from so many people with no context or love for the series be so glowing when in my opinion it causes serious problems. Please don’t skip it.

Hoder Erroneus Jensen

Congrats on the 100 episodes, it's very impressive how you and Chris has been able to deliver every week. Keep up the good work, but if you need a break some weeks, I'm sure most of your fans would be a-okay with that. Also Reign Over Me is an amazing movie, which is hands down the best movie Adam Sandler has ever done, and yes I've seen Uncut Gems :) It deal with depression and PTSD, and tackles some hard issues with grief, denial and how the surrounding world deals with it. I can highly recommend it, one of my favourite movies and always make me tear up a bit. The use of Shadow of the Colossus is a deliberate choice by Jeremy Roush, one of the editors of the script for the movie. It's a metaphor for how Charlie (Adam Sandler) is dealing with PTSD from 9/11, where he lost his family. Give it a shot, it's worth it and tell Chris to watch it again, this time while not being high ;)

I may be a little late, but it would be great to have Matty and Dustin do a FFVII episode.

Unfortunately, your opinion is that of the minority. I think we'll just do it later in the summer.

One game I’d recommend in this weeks drop is Little Misfortune! Cool dark humor narrative-driven game. Been hoping this would come to PS4 for a while. Also, I’m in favor of a super late FF7R Spoilercast! I need to replay it again anyways lol. Congrats on 100!

On the back button attachment... You guys figured out the point all on your own. The ability to use the face buttons without removing your thumb from the analog stick is a great enhancement. Now you can do it without using Chris’s carpel tunnel claw grip.

Congrats on (now over) 100 Episodes! I've enjoyed every single one - sometimes as a patron, in leaner times not but I've been a fan of Colin's voice in video games since Kinda Funny (though I wish I found his content far before that) Just dropping in to give my vote for Chris and Colin to do a late FF7 Remake spoilercast. I saw this is the majority opinion currently but it doesn't hurt to further the cause, right? My taste in games often aligns with Colin's (FF Tactics, Castlevania, and Mega Man all FTW) and I feel he's really insightful and candid about games and bringing that to a game both he and I are seemingly passionate about is just the conversation about the game I'm looking for. That and I have a few heathen friends who aren't big JRPG fans either, so Chris's take would be a good talking point in deciding if I can recommend FF7R to them. Thanks for all you do, gents, and congrats on the house and puppy, Colin - both are beautiful and you deserve all of it.
