Hey All,

I hope you're doing well (all things considered).

I just wanted to let you all know that Twin Breaker -- our PS4 and Vita game -- is now out on PSN. It's $9.99 (or your local equivalent), cross-buy between platforms, has two Platinum Trophy lists, a story, tons of modes, and more. It'll keep you busy for a bit during these trying times. =)

Europeans: Please note that the EU PSN doesn't update until Wednesday, so you'll have to wait just a few more hours from the time this post goes live.

I recently re-purchased a Vita for this and because I missed having one. Got a slim in great condition for a really good price. Really digging Twin Breaker so far it's a nice change of pace from what I have been playing lately and it's really fun.

Beat it in 2-3 hours. Never thought I would enjoy a brick breaking game this much. I genuinely thought the story was interesting too, couldnt wait to find out what was gonna happen at the end.

Already finished the main story mode, now for ng+ and some trophy hunting. I really loved it, super solod gameplay, found a couple of gliches, nothing game breaking but still. Loved the story, incredibly interesting and surprisingly well thought out. Might get a vita soon so im lookinh forward to getting the trophies there too. Ps: thank you barry for giving us a way to track trophy progression, super fucking useful.

Just wanted to mention that searching for this game to download proves how awful the playstation store is. If you type twinbreaker with no space you get no results. Also it wasnt listed on the new games section on the vita store. Aside from that though I'm enjoying the game!

My only critique is that "Brick" by Ben Folds Five was not given a shout-out in the trophy list. Maybe, only one song per band was used. Congratulations to Lillymo, Colin and Chris. Great job, guys!

The paddle shots currently do not count towards this trophy, though they should. This will be patched soon. However scarabs killed by bullets or explosions will still work. I reccomend the shooter and catcher side modes for this trophy.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but trophy unlocks do not show up in the "What's New" section of the PS4's main menu. I've seen this issue before with other games, but I'm never sure if it's a console-level bug or on the dev-side. My apologies if this has been mentioned already; it's not a huge deal, obviously. I'm enjoying the game a lot, and I hope it succeeds well enough to bring more game ideas to life. LONG LIVE THE PADDLE SHOT!

I was excited after a long day of work (a legit 12 hour day) when I somehow remembered it was the 24th! I opened my Vita (yup) and immediately purchased and launched the game. I love it! I’m slowly working through the story and I’ve played all the modes. The trophy list is very cool as well and I’m no trophy hunter. The horizontal and vertical paddles was so cool to see. I spent hundreds of hours playing Super Breakout as a kid and while this is definitely more difficult with the two paddles, I found myself playing long into the night. I love reading the story in your voices. Seriously, the whole team did great here!

Love the game but definitely not a 3/10 plat. Was on pace to be one of the first 10 to get it but can’t get 2 collectibles. It is a perfect trophy list and every game should have a trophy room

Platinum #16: Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure Really great work to all! It’s cool that you got to put a story out into the world that’s so personal to you, but also congrats to Barry! The presentation and gameplay are both so refined and such an improvement from Perils of Baking; this feels so polished. Loved how chaotic the gameplay would get and how rewarding it was to go through the collectibles when I earned a high score. I’m really not familiar with brick breakers either, so this was a really cool introduction and made me want to check out games like Arkanoid and Shatter I’m really looking forward to more Sacred Symbols adventures in the future. Great job to all involved!

I Really wanted to like it. But had to uninstall it. I'm yelling at the tv over a brick breaker game It was a nice try but definitely not for me

I’m one trophy away from the platinum, “Natural Life” where you need to max your life 10 times. I’ve done it 12x according to the in-game trophy room…still no trophy popping. What I’m I missing here?!!!

I'm almost done my ps4 platinum run.. i like it on the vita better.. so im actually remote playing the ps4 version on the vita.. its pretty glitchy that way though.. standard remote play video drops..

2 things.. 1) i think the game is pretty good. I think the reviewers whose scores show up on metacritic are a little out to lunch. They complain about the gameplay.. theyre wrong.. its pretty good.. although s ranks seem to be luck of the powerup drops. And they complain of the writing.. they must not be reading the codex files.. the variety of sources these documents come from is very well thought out and floored me.. i have been considering pieceing them all together in a chronological timeline but no time for that.. 2) might you consider a galaga clone for the next game in the series. The scarabs always make me want for that next.
