You'd think in that time frame, they'd do all they could within their power to extend any arms to the interested. Take away their MGS series, what have they really offered in the console realm? Pro Evolution Soccer? People and egos are a funny thing.

It's strange, and that was kind of my angle at IGN, too. Why are we even bothering being so diplomatic to a publisher who treats us with zero respect, and a publisher that also has literally nothing of interest outside of (at the time) MGS? C'est la vie.
