But since the fish didn’t die and seemed to have grown stronger, I did not hesitate to eat the fruit, and I must say… Wow! So good! I never had anything like it. It was like eating a strawberry parfait. I knew my face was quite messy, but there was nothing I could do about that. At least my tongue was longer than my old one, so I could like my snout clean, but I will wait until after I finish gorging myself.

“Hmm? Last one!? I got like ten of these!” I whined. I did not realize that I had eaten all the stupid fruit things already! That was bad. I planned to save a few for tomorrow…. And to make things worse, I pulled all the fruit off that bush…

I looked at the fruit in my paws and pouted as good as any dragon lizard thing can pout. “Just one more bite…..” And it was almost all gone… That one more bite turned into ten more bites, and now the fruit was just a small piece in my paw. “Ugh… I feel dizzy….” I had no idea what was going on. It could be these fruits were actually some kind of drug type fruit, but before I knew it, everything turned black.

To put it simply, I understand what is there, but at the same time, I do not…. Like why the hell do I suddenly have a blue screen in front of me showing all kinds of crap that I have no idea where it came from? While surprised and confused, I couldn’t help but feel that this might give me a bit more information.

I sat up and looked up at the sky. It was already getting dark, which made me sigh. My day was wasted pretty much. “Well, let’s see what I have here…. Name…. Level five…. Race, Ice Dragon…. Monster rank F…. Evolution requirements I need to reach level 20 and kill three rank E elites. It doesn’t say monsters or humans. So does that mean either or works? Are there elite humans in this world?

“I will save that for later. My HP, which I figure is my Health Points, is 200, and my MP, which I figure stands for Mana Points, is 150. These are not too bad…. I think?” I wasn’t too sure since I had nothing to base it off of.

“Lastly, I have skill points which is a big fat zero. And two level one skills appraisal and ice breath. I guess I am a draon…. Wait…. Race Ice Dragon!? So I AM not a dragon lizard thing but an actual dragon!? This kind of rocks! Rawr, I am a dragon, fear me!”  Iu was quite happy with this new discovery. I mean Ice Dragon! I could breathe ice! While it did suck that I couldn’t use fire, but at least with ice, I can freeze my enemies, then rush in and finish them off!

“Now then… What exactly was that fruit because I never had this menu thing until after I passed out.” It did not take a genius to understand the situation. The fruit caused this! It truly was a gumo gumo fruit! The system name is…. (Hacked) World Order System Version: (Chaotic Astral System). Which is quite confusing. So I will ignore that for now. But it did tell me a few things that helped a lot. I now had a system and a way to grow stronger and a way to keep an eye on that strength.

I can level up and even evolve, which is really neat. But I do wonder what I will turn into once I do evolve. I guess I can only meet the requirements to find out. For now, I guess I can try using the appraisal skill. And my first target will be the last piece of that fruit! If things worked as they did in the novels and mangas, then all I need to do is say the name of the skill while staring at the target. “Appraisal!”

An hour later….

“I almost died!” I cried out as I made my way to the pond and shoved my snout into it, and began drinking like no tomorrow. I just lost more fluids than humanly possible…. Well, I guess it’s fine since I am an ice dragon! But I did learn one thing about this. The fruits I hate had healed my soul, which means I was probably not in sink in this world if I go by fantasy theory. But now that I have eaten the fruits and my soul was healed, then I guess I am fine. But if that is the case, what about the fishy? Was it soul damaged? Were they reborn as a fish or something?  Well, not that I will go and eat it since, well…. I do not want to spend my time stuck in the bushes… For now, since it is almost dark, I will take a fish with me and go into my humble home….
