“Hello? Missy, are you here for the test?” The walking steroids man asked once more as he saw the cat girl staring off into space.

“Huh? Yes-nya…” Hime nodded her head. She just wanted to get this over with. She wanted to finish her registration and then go to the inn she was told about.

The walking steroids man looked at the petite young girl in front of him and sighed. He wondered why he had to fight little girls. “Alright. Come and attack me. Based on your strength. If you can make me step back even one step, I will pass you.” 

In truth, the walking steroids man did not even want to fight Hime. He only saw a little girl and nothing else. This bothered him to no end, so he was making things hard on her on purpose because he did not want a young child running into danger and dying due to getting ahead of herself.

Out in the lobby, the young woman who had waited on Hime sighed. “It’s her bad luck that Geret is on testing duty to….”

*Boom!*

The entire hunters guild suddenly shook, causing the young woman to panic. “What was that!?”

She darted out from behind the counter and ran towards the testing area. When she opened the door and looked at what was going on in front of her, her eyes widened as she looked at the massive hole in the ground. Covered in dirt and sprawled on the ground with cuts and scrapes all over him, Geret could be seen slowly getting up, his eyes filled with fear. “This!? Geret, what the hell are you doing!?”

“This is not my fault! Who told you to send me a damn monster!?” Geret truly feared for his life. He had to use his shield crafted with magic in order to block the blow, and even then, it still sent him flying. 

“What monster! I only sent you a young girl. How the hell did this happen, and you better be honest!” The young woman was not buying it. She did not understand how a young girl could be so strong.

“Open your eyes, Judith! Look at me, and then look at the young girl as you call her!” Geret was getting sick of being yelled at. 

“What do you me…” Judith froze in place as she looked over at the cat girl, who was standing in the middle of the crater that had formed, looking back at her.

“Nya?” Hime was confused as to what was going on. She tilted her head to the side, trying to figure out what she should say. “This is not nya’s fault! Mr. Steroids told me to give it my all, but my all would make him splat, so Nya only used a small portion of nya’s strength.” 

“Wha? How!? No! You are just a tiny young girl. How are you so strong that you can make a ten foot deep crater!?” Judith did not want to believe it. Even if the truth was right in front of her, she did not want to believe it!

“Can nya help nya out!?” Hime had not even realized, or maybe she got tired of trying to stop herself from saying nya. She could also easily get out of the crater she made but she was being lazy. She just wanted to sleep in nice bed for once.

“Huh? Yeah…” Judith blankly walked over to Geret and kicked his leg. “Go help the girl out! Be a man!” Geret felt like crying. He was the one beaten up. Why was he being treated as the enemy!? 

Sometime later….

“Here is your guild card. The crystal you got from the guards has already been returned. As for how things work for the guild, you have ranks F through S rank. Ranks go as so: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS. S, SS, and SSS ranks are only given by combined recommendation of the royal family and the main Hunters Guild Headquarters. They are only given when you acquire a feat that would be impossible for anyone else. Such as killing a dragon or demon lord.” Judith began going over the other benefits of having a guild card. It was used as an ID. So Hime could use it to roam the world if she so chose to. She could also store her money on it if she so chose to, but she had no need for that since she had her inventory which stored her cash for her. Lastly, it kept a log of all progression so once a request was finished, it would be updated by the guild staff to allow for proper promotion progress tracking between guilds in different areas.

“Any questions?” Judith asked. 

“Nya, where is Old Sandy Inn?” Hime asked. She wanted to take a cat nap!

“Old Sandy Inn?” Judith shuttered slightly before saying: “GO out and take a right. Keep following it down until you see a big sign with a bed and an hourglass on it. There you will find Old Sandy Inn.”

“Okay, thanks, nya!” Hime pocketed her card and walked out of the guild. Only after she left did Geret raise his head from behind the counter and look up at Judith, and asked: “What is she? A demon lord?”

“Geret, what are you… why the hell are you down there!? Stop trying to look up my skirt, you damn pervert!” Judith quickly kicked the damn steroid man in the leg before walking off. 

“Bahahaha! Geret got rejected again!”

“How many times does this make? Doesn’t he know Judith hates him by now!?”

“They say love is blind, but damn, Geret really needs an eye transplant since can’t seem to see Judith’s hate for him.”
