Im starting with Kris Murray because it seems logical at 19 with our roster.

But I wanted to get a feel for who yall are interested in for us at #19? These are the guys I have highlighted ( no guards ) that could be available around our pick. Feel free to throw out a name.. If I can get to 1 per week that be about 6 or so by the draft. My process is watching whole games so it takes a good amount of time for each.

Anybody else just switching to see the numbers shift lol

If he falls/he’s kinda in that late teen area, Leonard Miller kinda projects like a player the warriors have drafted in the past. Let me know what you think Alch

If we’re picking on pure upside it has to be GG Jackson the kid has all the tools to be an elite two way player

Anonymous

Let’s go get Kris tho. Done deal impact rookie imo. Can play next to JoKu, Dray, Look, or PBJ

Anonymous

Kris Murray or GG Jackson

Anonymous

Never drafting a center in the first round again unless he’s bonified generational sorry

I have no clue on the draft in all honesty 😅… I’d probably take the best pick available and use them as trade stock for this summer

Murray, Jackson, or Lively. It all depends on if we make roster moves or plan on it. Lively is an obvious need (but do we want another Big that’s raw??). Murray if he can up his 3pt % like Keegan will be great but that’s a tall order.

It feels like they may go fit and ready after the last few drafts. Its harder for me to scout outside of the lottery. But I should be able to give yall a good feel for the guys that are possible at 19.

I say Noah Clowney I know he’s a younger prospect but I believe he could come with much needed rim protection and being that in 2024 our pick goes to Memphis I believe they may decide to go with the younger developmental prospect.

Anonymous

Ok yeah looking forward to the video.. maybe someone willing to buy into a system and wants to be a role player… our team is built around players with that mindset except poole

Anonymous

Clowney is my guy in this draft. Lunch pale kind of big man on the defensive end. Needs some polish though.

Look at Jalen Hood-Schifino as well. Very much a warriors type of player. Mid-range merchant

Anonymous

Maybe Max Lewis from Pepperdine as well. Super versatile scoring wing with good defensive potential.

Anonymous

Whitmore for sure wont be there for GSW.

Anonymous

What about James Nnaji? Already has 2 years Euroleague experience playing for the champ and somewhat decent per36 stats.

Anonymous

Jdumas saying warriors should scoop emoni bates at #19 😭

Anonymous

As long as no guards pleaseeee

Anonymous

no more guards or raw bigs, lets get somebody who can be a role player immediately

Sqk

Gosh, I don’t know any of these guys

Murray and GG look most interesting from what little I've seen. GG looks raw (ptsd after Wiseman) but seems to have solid feel. I get that everyone is expecting Livley, but the Willie Cauley Stein comp does not fill me with confidence.

Can we get 1 video on what we could get by packaging the pick with Jordan Poole? I really think we're trading the pick. No way Curry wants another rookie on this team.

athleticalchemy

It coming next week. I have to fit a specific sponsorship in it with in a certain week that’s the only reason it ain’t out

Someone said it takes talent to recognize talent. Do the warriors have enough talent in the scouting and evaluation department to make the right pick?

Anonymous

If we’re truly going to run it back like it sounds.. then we gotta go for lively and do it right this time

Anonymous

Can we add Emoni Bates to the list....?

Here's his combine workout at Ballslife youtube channel. He looks good out there, but it's my first consolidated combine workout film so what do I know...? https://youtu.be/VH2OySlrJqA

Tryce or GG would be perfect. Tryce looks like he has more a better feel for the game for our system. GG looks like another project but would be nice next to jk and pbj.

Anonymous

As frustrating as he was, Poole probably is going anywhere. Curry said he was the key to the team. So get rid of him?

Windfury

No on Derrick Livley - not another teenage center. I like the look of Leonard Miller. Kris Murray wouldn't be a bad choice either. I just noticed Boston has no picks whatsoever in this draft. We have no second round picks, but we can always buy one if there is someone they really want. Barring any trades or major developments, the roster is crowded going into next year.

Anonymous

Poole + 2023 + 2027 + 2029 Even with the 3 picks it's limited limited Turner, Randle, OG (packages) (Obviously the details of how many picks and matching details are trade specific, likely 2 picks would be the price attached) If you want Saikam Kuminga has to he added into the deal and maybe also Moody They are not getting KAT or Embiid This offseason is the last likely opportunity to move 3 first before all the new CBA restrictions kick in in 2024 Retaining this 2023 pick is illogical and they should be drafting for another franchise.

Derrick lively worries me because most Duke bigs haven't really panned out aside from Wendell Carter Jr and miles plumlee. We could get the perfect finisher and lob threat but I just keep thinking Marvin Bagley. I like trayce a lot since he's improved as a passer over the years, but I feel like a high energy guy like Oscar tshiebwe who's a beast on the board's would be better value later in the draft if we trade 19. It doesn't hurt that he's Congolese so kuminga and him might mesh well together.

Cam Whitmore is projected 7 or 8 so that seems like a stretch to even include. Clowney is the same but in the opposite direction, he is 24 at his highest projection of the 5 mocks I am looking at, so again may be a waste as I have seen him at 30 as well, Klintman can be in this same category, he is 2nd round in every mock. So I would do the other 4 you have listed, and add Leonard Miller who Tankathon has as our most likely pick. I know the Chicago event going on now is showing a lot and in my opinion I think Myers is spending time getting to know these prospects as opposed to going to stupid meetings of other GMs.

Jackson Davis really impressed me during Madness. Super fun prospect and I think a lot of his game will translate. Looking forward to scouting season Alc!

Yo alch what about Zach edey I heard about him before draft season started 7’4 290 but moves pretty well for his size he was also a leading scorer in college and with his size he gotta be a defensive monster in the paint

Jett Howard Michigan

Dereck Lively II He’s a rim protector and can rebound
