The every other day games and heavy minutes for Klay throughout this series really hurt him. Klay has his best shooting month in February this season in which they had the all star break. Klay was much fresher that month and it shows in his numbers.

Anonymous

Also Klay started playing back to backs for the first time this year on February 23rd and 24th.

Uncle Alch we will rock with you all the way. Love your content and we just love the way you do things. Take a break, unwind and recover. we with you.

Russ

Thanks for another stellar year Alch. The season is so much better thanks to you, I don't know which is more fun to watch a game or your breakdown. Definitely after tough losses your breakdown really helps. I always stay year round and here is to next year dumping Poole and Klay's 75 million combined salaries and picking up another true star to get Steph another ring or two. Giannes or Jaylon Brown would fit nicely, yes I know they are longshots.

I appreciate this channel man. First year moving out of my parents place and I don't have League pass/cable so I haven't been able to watch many games. These videos are a great way for me to stay in the loop with dubs game plus I gain so many insights into the sport as well as the workings of the dubs by listening to this great insight. But best of all for me are the laughs you provide that lighten everything up. Reading some of these people's insightful comments also a plus!

Gary

Thank you! You’ve made a very weird season - from punch to playoffs - enjoyable. Lots of blame to go around for the Dubs but can’t be too mad at em; just won the chip last year. Steph still got it. “Make the necessary strides. Don’t want to see us next year.”

joss gitlin

Thank you for the wonderful content this season. You have my support

Steve

Doesn't have to be full breakdowns, but some podcast-style thoughts as the playoffs finish up would be fun.

Bailey

After all the Lakers' 3s and FTs, I was shocked the Warriors only lost by 20 points. They didn't even need Game 6 Klay. Game 1 Klay will do. Remember on Andre's podcast he said after the 2022 championship Lacob expressed confidence they'll win again in 2023 and Andre replied "you think this is easy"? The 2022 squad was special and seemed like everyone got along great. Otto, Damion, JTA and Bjelica were great supporting cast without Main Character Syndrome.

Ejikeme Uzoigwe

But that only worked because we had two players last year who were willing to have Main Character Syndrome - JP & Wiggins. You can’t praise people for being betas and then be surprised when you end up with situations where no one but Steph can create his own shot. If Klay & JP can’t be relied upon for offense, the team will need more guys with Main Character Syndrome.

Ejikeme Uzoigwe

Thanks for the content, Alc. Enjoy your break. And thanks to the commenters here. It’s all made this crazy season a lot more enjoyable than it would’ve been.

Thanks for content this season Alc!

Valentine Nguyen

Let's keep it going Alc! Been tuning into the breakdowns since I was 20. I'm 26 now... Thanks for providing an outlet for a better understanding of my favorite team through these glory years. The end ain't here yet!!

Bailey

You need to look up the meaning of Main Character Syndrome

Based on GP2's exit interview, the punch was still an issue when he got here in Feb. Based on JP grabbing Draymond's wrist and pushing him away during Kings series, I think it's safe to say the punch is still an issue. There's no doubt that the punch played a factor in JP's declined play. The defense is inexcusable, but it's hard to play with a teammate who knocked you out and faced practically zero punishment. The front office will have to choose between one or the other this offseason because it's turned into a cancer that's disturbed the team chemistry. I think they will choose Draymond. This leads to trade scenarios with JP. His trade value is very low right now because of his playoff performance as well as his exorbitant salary- almost nobody wants that ish. BUT- if you package him with Kuminga and say PBJ, two more young guys with star potential, I could see a team willing to take the risk of JP especially because there is a clear off court reason that could have diminished his game. So, I think Kuminga will be gone this off season. Not Moody, he's looking like the heir apparent to Otto Porter Jr. and has the qualities of a player that Kerr and Steph love. Two roles that we would need to have to fill if those two guys (JP and Kuminga) were shipped off would be a scorer off the bench who can create offense on his own and a stretch 5 with size to alleviate draymond and looney's load/allow us to play two bigs. The only combo of those roles that I could imagine in exchange for Poole, Kuminga, and possibly PBJ could be Mike Conley and Naz Reid. So what do you all think? Poole, Kuminga, PBJ for Conley and Naz Reid. Am I overvaluing our young guys' trade value? Also hope we let Donte and JMG go.

Ejikeme Uzoigwe

Love Conley, but didn’t watch many Wolves games. He still got anything left in the tank? Hate to see the team get anymore geriatric.

Anonymous

In 24 games as a timberwolve, he scored 14 ppg in 30 mins on 42% 3 point shooting. He's definitely old, but he has experience, high IQ, doesn't turn the ball over, and has a low ego. He could potentially thrive in a reduced bench role

Anonymous

Thats a horrible idea to bring another old PG that turns the ball over

Anonymous

Thanks for another great season, Alch! See you in the summer.

Anonymous

Wasn’t the season we envisioned but thankful for this great community regardless, see you all in the off season

Anonymous

Kerr might give Conley 30 mins a night 😂 this is only based off watching the wolves lakers play in game but Conley seems to still have some left in the tank, and does all the winning vet shit that this teams loves (hitting timely shots, settling the offense, smart team defense) so I’d prob do it

not even the same team . every playoff contender looks like 2015 warriors

Great content. The only guy I look forward to listening to the day after. Always jazzed to get home from work, and here are your breakdowns and analysis. Nice to hear some X's and O's and objectivity instead of pure homerisms. Keep doing what you do. As far as the games, a lot of Dubs Twitter harping on roster construction, Lacob cost us, etc., but the Dudes have to be the Dudes to win. Klay and JP weren't in the last 4 games. Assuming we had OPJ and Beli on the roster, it would not overcome Klay going 14-56 from the field (10-36 from 3), JP going 10-37 (1-15 from 3), and Steph going 14-49 from 3.

What about a trade scenario where we would give up kuminga, Poole and say pbj and a future pick and we trade for towns. We know that the wolves don‘t always make the best trades and that the two big man combo did not work. They won‘t trade gobert. And we can use a stretch five how has inside presence. The only problem would be the high salary of towns starting in the 24-25 season where he gets 50 Million a year and you basically have to bench looney

Anonymous

It could potentially work. The most important asset to acquire this offseason is a big who can shoot so that we have the option to play two big lineups. Otherwise, getting a quality big doesn't make much sense because we'd have to split their playing time with Loon and Draymond at the 5 leaving few minutes to go around. PBJ won't be ready until the end of this upcoming season at the earliest. KAT could potentially work in that role, but I agree that the salary is probably too much for us to take on. One counter is- if it didn't work for the Wolves too well, would it work well for us? Never say never though

athleticalchemy

Really appreciate all the love and support ! yall keep me pushing more than you know 🙏🏽

Moody is like the second coming of Iggy. All you said makes sense, and it all goes back to the lack of accountability Draymond faced. I knew then that was a mistake. You should NEVER leave punishment in the hands of the victim, it's the organization that has to take responsibility for handing out consequences for behavior. I'm honestly disappointed in the organization leadership all around this year, for their poor roster decisions, signing Lamb, not getting even an emergency big, and the handling of the punch. It wasn't all bad, I did like resigning GP2, but that also begs the question, should they have let him go in the first place?

Lakers nuggets preview?

Cover the lakers you will so many more subscribers

Amen to Moody! Highly agree about leaving the punishment to the victim being a terrible idea. And yeah signing Lamb with the allegations felt head scratching and could only lead to more division in the locker room.

We’re with U and the Dubs, Alch! Keep pumping out great content. PS had to wait a few days before I could even watch ur breakdown of this game.

Depends on what Kerr and Curry are trying to do in the next 5 years. I think we all agree winning a 5th championship is the goal. However, the biggest problem is the punch. That fight and everything leading up to the attack messed up the chemistry and it’s bad having those 2 on the same team. Think how those perspectives messes everybody else’s mentality when there’s winning to be the focal point. And if green is not let go then it shows the warriors organization was very inefficient in managing personalities and unqualified at upholding good cohesion. Recall KD and green had problems before. Might be the reason why other players and staff left a winning organization before KD and after. 4 rings in 9 years yet people were in and out of a 9 year dynasty. Why? Was is it money, was it lack of respect? Wherever the fault is the warriors need to reinvent their roster while Curry still wants to ball.

Neal X

Would love it if you did a season post-mortem vid, if you have the heart to do it, haha. Maybe addressing some of the things Kerr said in his exit interview.

Weird season with the Home/Away Jekyll/Hyde stuff, the punch, the Wiseman/GP2 trade, Wiggs being away for months, and now Bob Myers searching for the meaning of life. But, it's great to ride you through it! Thanks! Looking forward to Draft and Summer content.

gary garcia

Unc, we are sticking with you ride or dieeeee, best analist out there and specially regarding our gsw... You said Lakers in 6,and I know you were hurting, but it is the truth.... Imagine how phisical and big Denver looks vs Lakers, imagine vs us.....

gary garcia

What do you thing about the buddy buddy hug from dray to his guy Bron....

athleticalchemy

Very unsurprising.. I think people in hindsight have realized " wait! Draymond didn't really get rowdy or try to punk them"
