Alch... you know I love you man, but I gotta call you out when you're wrong. Steph's walk to the hoop with Dray's screen... was in this one instance definitively NOT the easiest bucket of the night. 🤣

Nah even when he did a decent job defensively against Dallas, I still want Poole gone next season. Are you kidding me? Look at that Hardy kid. What he have, 6,7 threes this game, defends, and even did a chasedown block on Klay? He is worth almost NOTHING but does more than Poole. Way more. Austin Reaves from the Lakers, who will get 50m next year for multiple years, still wayyyy cheaper than Poole's contract coming into next season, and AR is a dog, a way better shooter, defends, and is a smart player overall. Never out of pocket like Poole. Tons of players out there that produce on both ends of the floor better (and more) than Poole but have dirt cheap contracts. #TradePoole #KumingaTheFuture

Alc & community: for all his foibles, we’ve all heard about Poole being a really hard worker. If you could have him work on just one thing over the summer, what would it be? (Besides the obvious “stop being an idiot” and “give a fuck on defense”. I’m just curious if anyone sees any specific high leverage areas for improvement)

The low man in the paint overhelping and getting caught leaving a wide open shooter on the perimeter has been happening ALL YEAR and I really have to wonder why the hell Kerr hasn't broken some clipboards in asses about it.

Joku needs to be a starter over either DDV or Poole. Enough of this 3G lineup out there or if it happens, keep it for 5-6m a game.

I'm glad I'm not a Mavs fan because Luka would make it so hard to watch games. He seriously whines after every play when he's one of the guys in the league who gets the most calls! He's unbelievably talented but unwatchable and annoying af.

This was the worst officiating of the year and that is a high bar to surpass. I don't understand how the refs can keep getting worse throughout the season.

I seriously don`t like that the wolves now have 4 days off to prepare. gonna be another big game. Whats the lookout if we just beat em by 20? i know im dreaming but still..the season can turn out to be a good one. .As annoying as luka is sometimes you can`t deny how good he is. The complaining and fouls is a lot on the refs too and on that note draymond is definately as annoying as luka when it comes to complaining.

JK has declared himself to the playoff roster with Wigs absence. And that’s great because you can count on Draymond checking out 2 of every 3 games now, and big dude who guards everyone is always a huge positive. If Wigs makes it, then they would have a strong 9 man rotation, and that’s not counting Lamb yet. The inequality in roster is a bit outrageous to be honest

Completely, 100% agree. The first thing I learned of Bob is he's not stupid. Name one terrible contract he did. Poole earned every penny of his contract. He's a top notch prospect, in terms of character (work ethic, humble, winning mentality and not jealous), basketball talent (shooting and positioning) and physical build. Every manager should slap their own face in the mirror for letting a lottery talent slide to the Warriors. Looking back at the class 2019, Ja and Zion are the obvious ticket sellers but Poole and Garland are the best basketball players, period.

With respect to areas for improvement, here's a hot take: offensively, he needs to work on his handles. It seems controversial given his flashy styles of dribbling (the Rafer Alston spin, the between the leg Smitty, the in and out), but it's easy to play fast. The reason he turns it over when pressed is exactly the same reason CP3 had so many turnovers in playoff clutch time: they both pick up the ball in pressing/ double team. That's the #1 rule I use to judge if a player got handles: do they pick up the ball. Chris Paul does not have handles, nor does Poole. He needs to realize that. Don't even need to look at Jason Williams, just ask Steph how he trained his handles. Other than this, Poole is pretty much the whole package.

Defensively, look at how long it took Steph to grow into the elite defender he is today. Rockets were picking on him in 2018, and he managed to play the aggressive defense only last year. So as long as I see Poole keeping growing, I'm fine.
