Slater reports no Steph, Wiggs, and Dray for the Jazz. Wise has been called up. We may get to see if any of that G League stint paid off. If you needed any evidence of how important Wiggs has become to this team, I offer last night as Exhibit "A." Missed his length and athleticism versus the young, athletic Pacers. They made us look old and slow. Wiggs has also stepped in at times this season and hit key 3-point shots to stop our bleeding. Regarding Lamb, I'm telling you, he is Kerr's new D-Lee (security blanket). Going to make us scratch our heads some nights when he plays more than the lotto picks. I don't know that Kerr can quit him.

At 7:40 or so yo you mentioned how you’re actually happy to see the Dubs get their asses kicked in because they will see they have to get another big in trade. Marcus Thompson on their pod today said it won’t happen till January because that’s when it will be obvious who is staying on a team and fits and who doesn’t throughout the league. I’m not sure if they can wait that long. i’ve noticed another document to Joe Lacob‘s hubris-The advertisement for the Warriors game on TV they always show never even shows you Stephen Curry-instead it shows Jordan Poole making those crazy shots in Game 5 of the Finals. I’m ready for a shakeup myself.

Nah. Wise is gonna get murdered without the HoFers to set him up and cover on D. Wise needs more time to cook in the G.

This reminds me of the 2020-2021 season when Steph had great energy whereas some games some of the other players - one of them was Wiggins (maybe bc he went along with the general consensus they weren't getting the chip that year?) - seemed like they dgaf. The NBA doesn't care about its players. They should schedule 2 days off after back-to-back games so the players can get treatment/recovery. They don't say a word about the obvious inconsistent officiating. The one thing they do care about is issuing dumbass fines to the people who bring in the revenue.

Andrew Nembhard was drafted 3(!!!) Spots After(!!!) PBJ, c'mmon Bob!

Could have taken Tyrese Haliburton/Devin vassel at the 2020 draft.

Anonymous

Trey Murphy III at the 2021 Draft.

With the aging of the first unit it's apparent that the bench depth is even more crucial than years past. Last night was a clear portrait of a young talented team working over an old talented team. Loving DD's game even when he's missing shots, Kuminga is coming along, but the rest? Shop em, even JP. So tired of watching him get practice-coned on D and those Hollywood shuffle giveaways multiple times a game.

I'll say it again, ( and ive been on this for awhile) , the warriors management and bob do not draft extremely well. The talking heads suggest that bob is a superior kind of manager, but he really isnt the bees knees. Wiseman is one of the worst 2nd picks in the history of the NBA draft. Most of the other crappy number 2 picks were injury ridden and just couldnt play. Wiseman will never play. Curry, Thompson, and Green were all picks OKd by Jerry West. Our picks in the past years have generally been mahh. Im not sayin I knew Nembhard was this good, but its almost like Myers and Co dont get it. I cant think of a pick that wasnt thrown in their lap that was any good. Ok, Poole, but thats it. Kuminga was an obvious pick, so they grabbed him. I mean really, Anyway, Bob is just a Lawyer/Agent and we all know that ALL lawyers are soulless and unempathetic with no sense of humanity, so I guess one shouldnt expect much right?

I remember D. Cousins last year playoffs dominating us off the bench in the Denver series. We could use that size, strength and toughness! And he knows our system. I think Kevin Love could help. We need another big for sure cause we need to be FELT inside. maybe it’s Wiseman at some point?🙏

k fish

The new d Lee? D Lee was consistently great for the warriors even when given dnps, the people screaming for moody last year over dlee we're misguided fans, the same ones saying moody is more ready then kuminga

Neal X

I mean... this game pissed me off something fierce, but get rid of JP? I think that's a little hasty...

Erin Laskey

Unbelievable how you've laid it all on one person being responsible for imaginary poor draft picks

I'm not too concerned about this game individually, this was just a weird case of most our guys being cold especially Curry, and Nembhard turning into prime Trey Young, hell he never did that even in college. Still have some issues to work on but this isn't the first time a shorthanded pacers team came in and beat us. Also this was my first live Warriors game and man is Chase louder than I expected, can't even imagine what oracle was

Dec 15 more players become available because of recent signings and extensions, then nearly all players become trade eligible by Jan 15. That is the reason no trades have happened as of yet.

Anonymous

JP is on a poison pill contract and it is nearly impossible to trade him till the off-season. The rules on the extension are essentially set to make him untradable since his future value is now set so much higher than his current salary.

yah, as much as i want a deal to go down to get known solid vets, if we can finesse the "two timelines" - as a fan, that will be super dope to have a young core blossom as the old core begins to taper. let's see how the g-league reps translate tonight.

Anonymous

True. I bet the FO is wishing they waited on the extension. It's part of that "light years ahead hubris" thinking they could slide into a second wave of elite players, but like Alch said, the timelines just don't match.

Anonymous

Better not be a showcase for kuminga tonight bc he’s been the best young guy by a mile and a half

Yo I'm done with Ty Jerome. Dude looks like a high school walk on out there. JWise looked nervous and never settled down, would have liked to see him get more minutes. I am officially attached to JK with his focus on defense and high ceiling with his natural gifts. I could def let go of Moody, Ty Jerome, and uncle Jeff. Love Donte, and Lamb is like a DLee mixed with a super poor man's Iggy. * Recently Signed JaMychal Green cannot be traded until December 15. Recently Signed Ty Jerome cannot be traded because 3 months have not passed since he was signed. He will be eligible to be traded after Jan 13, 2023.

Agree. I think that if they are unwilling to move wiseman (joe Lacob) and need to get him more min I think they’ll need to move j green. If anything kuminga should absorb his minutes tbh. Kuminga should get 20-25 min a night from now on. Also it’s not like you can sub j green in for the young guys when they mess up and bc he doesn’t make any difference. His defense has been sub par and he’s mentally challenged under the hoop. Don’t know how many times he’s had the ball and brings it all the way down just to get rejected on the way back up. If they can move him with some pick to get another piece or a vet swap that would be ideal but I doubt it. Starting to see that there’s a reason Denver let this man come to us.

Nah Mike, everybody low on Poole atm, that was a no Brainer extension.
