At this point, I feel like the NBA should start having referees go through game tape and explain why and or why they didn’t make a call. It’s getting ridiculous at this point with bad calls or no calls and refs get absolutely no accountability for it.

Alc To be honest I did not think this was a good game . We were saved by good 3 point shooting that's it The turnovers were wild and we gave up way toomanybeasy drives to to hoop. So a good 3pt shooting night or a strong first quarter mask a very average game

Great breakdown as always. What stood out to me was the stretch from late 3rd into the late 4th where we barely if at all scored from inside the arc. The reliance on the 3 ball was very concerning even if it was just the Rockets.

This obsession with 3 point variance and shooting luck has swung the pendulum too far by the analytics crowd. Shots are infectious and sometimes the drip from a team is uncharacteristically wet, but this is what this team should look like more often than not. Not 16 3s between two players but Poole, Klay, Wiggs, hitting wide open jumpers that the Curry gravity creates-- it's not about the W against this G league squad its about the team buy in and the rewards it starts to produce. This one was huge, and it can't be ignored it tends happen with Klay on the bench. I'm gonna say it one last time, Poole needs to start, that doesn't mean Klay can't close, but Poole's damage is felt most when teams have to deal with his drip from the get.

They T'd him up for going at the Rockets. Fitz and Bookie never told us what happened and the cameras hardly followed the action. But Lamb was ready to square up on somebody. Kerr called a timeout just to calm shit down and get Lamb off the floor.

Steph and Wig are killing it this season. JP and Klay are starting to improve. And we have DD, Lamb to help out on shooting, now we need to play Moody more. When we have 7 shooters operate smoothly in the system, we can never be stopped

Mood had a nice game at the right time because Lamb had a down one. That may not matter because Lamb seems to be the new D-Lee to Kerr. However, no question Moody has more upside and is a bit taller. Interestingly, speaking of Moody, we could have drafted Sengun who went at #16 in Mood's draft. His defense is suspect, but it would be nice to have a guy who can get you some buckets by post up. When the 3's aren't falling, we struggle bad. Get some 2's guys, they count too. By the way, as an aside, caught Wiseman again last night. I become more and more convinced daily he might just be a forward instead of a center. He had a baseline move last night that really got me thinking.

Mood is definitely not taller than Lamb… maybe longer. Again the internal competition could be really good for those guys.. keep JMG on his toes too.

the inconsistent ref calls on warriors and rockets winning on suns might be theater, there’s gotta be buzz in this type of entertainment 👏👏

Agreed on the JP jerking. One comp to me is D Fox who is so much more strategic with his quickness and moves, but equally as fast. He just knows how to use it more efficiently. I’d like to see HOU get a vet traditional point guard to organize those talented young bucks. MoMo showed extreme soul after all the DNP’s. Smooth J, D, and vibe are his tickets in the league. Will he challenge DDV for minutes? Not enough point skills?

I don’t know what to make of Lamb this season. He’s a smart player and definitely adding value but can he hang with the size and athleticism in a 7 game playoff series?

Had this weird dream last night and I only remembered it when I watched this breakdown. Klay was being interviews by someone in what it looks like Klay's office at home. He is bald. Looking a bit older. Beard and moustache shaved. Yeah he looks weird. Then he was writing down notes but I think he's writing a song or poem.

Ref calls definitely feel targeted. It's annoying because obviously nobody wants to focus on this, but when it's this obvious and obnoxious. Feels like Kerr's biding his time when to properly bring it up.

When Poole was bent over grimacing, Draymond went over and held his hand on JP’s back, talking to him. Making amends is a long process. Too much reliance on the 3 point shot; that will cost them a game in the near future.

reminder of klays stats last 10 games: 44.2% FG; 42.9% 3P%. he's on a positive trend. hasn't he historically started seasons off crap?
