Ezra Abbey

how is steph getting better at this point, it really makes no sense.

Nathan Glanzer

In my opinion Wise shouldn't see the floor unless Steph is out there.

Anonymous

I like it so much when Steph plays tough and pushes away guys like Lowry and Smart (rightfully so).

Anonymous

Then the problem is Wise can't make good screens for Steph like Looney and does not get offensive rebounds as well.

Nathan Glanzer

Yeah he should be getting reps so he can. Steph is the only person that can actually pass him the ball and take advantage of his gravity on drives. Let Loon set some good screens for JP in some minutes. I'm not talking start Wise. Just slot him when Steph is playing.

Anonymous

They are talking about Bron's longevity, what are they going to say when Steph surpasses him?

From the Mesa in Bo Town.... lol Alch

Macca

I’m in New Zealand, so your videos always drop around breakfast time, which is perfect. I get to sit and eat breakfast and watch the breakdown…even tho I usually watch the entire game anyway. They need Alch to work with Keith Burke on Dubs Talk Live

The thing scaring me about kuminga is that he seems like the type of guy to be entitled to more minutes considering he was the 7th pick in a draft where guys like Scottie Barnes, Evan Mobley and davion Mitchell already have solidified spots. With kuminga’s personality, I feel like he might request a trade if we don’t start playing him consistent minutes soon. I’d hate to see kuminga get impatient with us but I think it’s definitely a possibility.

Nev

Hopefully, we get to see a rejuvenated Kuminga soon, fresh with effort, energy, and a good attitude

Avocado Ice Cream, From Bolinas, LOL - does make you wonder what is going on with Kuminga, dude clearly has the raw skillset to be a great player, but does he have the humility to put in the work - like Andre said, if he just focused on being a dog on defense he would get minutes and moments to shine offensively, i'm sure they are going to big boy him in terms of minutes and the control they have over him to make him adhere to their culture and expectations, if he doesn't get with the program, in a dream world where we wouldn't regret it down the line cuz Kuminga will be a bust ultimately, I'd like to see Jared Vanderbilt from the Jazz take his spot, they have similar salaries and he would be a major plug and play dude for us. He is only 23...

lol, used to get out there too when i lived in the bay, trippy place

Jerry Heverly

I’m curious you thoughts on why so many of those lobs are off target?? I suggest a this-year-only award, the Javelin (the anti-tank weapon). Leading contenders are Dame Lillard (will his legacy be that he prevented the Blazers from getting Wembanyama?); Markkanen; and Popovich (doesn’t he want Becky Hammon  to have the foundational player?). Kerr as Rasputin, distracting us from the Draymond soap opera by tormenting JK….?

athleticalchemy

lol nice.... I think there is an element of them knowing how much he struggled catching the ball early on..so they are trying to put it up super soft and its floating on them

Daniel Fries

Klay hit the first 5 points - including a 3 that got the crowd really going - so maybe that's why he was feeling himself later when he was missing. Being there live last night, 3 things stuck out in a way they never do on screen. 1 - Jordan Poole is so damn fast. It seems like he moves 2x faster than anyone else on the floor. And smooth - damn. 2 - Draymond's effort is palpable. We probably lose that game without him. 3 - Steph is a zen master - yes, absolutely next level. He owns the game and does whatever he wants. neo in the matrix - amazing to witness.

k fish

🔥 alc but not tough love with jk .....no love at all lol as you said Kerr doesn't want jk to impressive or improve because when Iggy gets back you know Kerr gotta have minutes for his favorite

why don't you stream the game on NBA.com... and if you're geo restricted, you can use a VPN. I've actually heard of people VPN'ing in from India to get NBA league pass for $25 / year.

Better game from the warriors defensively compared to the first few games of the season. Im actually glad to see Draymond be more offensive minded. He's taking 3s he never would have taken last year... taking it to the basket. If he averaged 10 a game that would help A LOT. I also wanted to point out Klays consistency. A great point was made in the video that klay historically will get off to cold starts in games and that's very true. Klay in the beginning was like a traditional 3 points specialist like Steve Kerr was. On offense he would just go to his spot and wait on the ball. I could see over time he has evolved his game and started to put the ball on the floor. He really doesn't handle the ball well and I think when he tries to do too much it interferes with his shooting. I don't know why kerr won't let kuminga play.

athleticalchemy

Ok makes sense.. yeah the Dray thing right now is working perfectly. Granted this still kind of a honeymoon phase of the makeup

It might seem generous but I think we should give Klay at least 20 games before starting to get concerned. It was a very quiet off season for him as has been reported. He deliberately avoided any pickup games etc and definitely seems likes he's being ramped up real slow. Yeah the contract looks real bad right now but him just being on the court has it's own warping effect on the defense. 20+ games should be enough for him to get his legs back and work through any slump.

Has anyone noticed the pump threes curry is taking and making. I swear he used to miss more of those.

Anonymous

Definitely. Particularly the one at the end where he sort of double clutched it as bam was closing out on him. I was prepared for that one to miss but it ended up being the dagger

Anonymous

mv3 season for steph. this fourth ring confidence has turned him invincible

John Pettus

If he requests a trade off the Warriors, f him. That would be stupid as hell.

John Pettus

He used to miss all of the pump 3s. But weirdly he always makes 3s off a bobble!

Kevin Morris

I agree, he seemed have added that to his bag this off season. I remember 2 maybe 3 years ago Kerr trying to get him to pump fake to get cheap fouls and it didn't really work out too often or when he would double clutch it was because he was concerned about a closeout. Now he pump fakes to trick his opponents and his conversion rate seems very high.

Anonymous

Steph looks like he’s not even trying and still dominating, regular season basketball probably feels like preseason for him rn, been seeing a lot of unfair criticism for Poole among the fan base, he’s been asked to do so much more and complex things it will take him time to get going

Anonymous

That would be an interesting discussion to have to if the Dubs went back to back. 5 rings, two without KD Bron, two outside of Miami, but in both cases the front office essentially emptied the clip trading the 1st pick in the draft for Love (aka Drew Wiggs) All the picks and young core for AD in LA Hard to say how kids will see it a decade removed in the 2030s what this all really was or how it ripples in the tied of history. But that would be excellent discussion to have of what Curry must achieve from here on to surpass Bron at least in 50% of analysts eyes?

Anonymous

One could make the argument if they're not gonna use him, then they should consider moving him for more depth at the 5 for this current title push. Wiseman has made great strides but, if Loon or Dray just missed a handful of games in a 7-game series this roster comes a part quick with just one of them Wise to man the paint. I'm as high on anyone on JK but greed of the future shouldn't compel a franchise not to optimize their weapons for war. Back to Back is all that matters.

Anonymous

even he forgets he's a streaky shooter and always kinda has been. if he wasn't an always shot the way the does when he's white hot, he'd be one everyone talks about as the greatest shooter ever. If anyone around the league is selling off their Klay stock and I can buy it low I'm here to buy it. Klay again, in the playoffs when it matters, will hit big time buckets that will be pivotal to several games in a series. He just needs to realize, he has a long road ahead if he allows himself to have it.

Anonymous

That last 6 minutes of the 4th was a perfect microcosm of what makes the big 3 special individually. For whatever reason Curry is way more accurate on the lobs to Wise than anyone else

Anonymous

Further on this and the start to the season more generally. I'm loving Dray's effort and aggressiveness of offense, While I'm skeptical that it will last all season, by now we should be happy for any such outbursts from him on the court. He has never and will never need to score much he just has to do enough to at least make the defense put up a pretense of guarding him. Kerr will no doubt keep tinkering all season long this we know. I just hope he sees sense sooner rather than later to not lob all the rookies and young guys in together so much. They will most of the time just give up any leads established or fall behind against most opposing teams. Mixing the generations is the key to the rotations. As to Steph and his pump fake 3s, I won't be celebrating just yet after such a small sample size if he's still doing it successfully heading into the All Stark break then I'll smile. Till then it might just be variance. Poole still as so much work to put in defensively but I'm happy for his focus on facilitating. We don't need him to score huge every night while his playmaking and ability to break down a defense I think is second only to Steph on the team.
