noti squad

THIS was a FANTASTIC game! Get Moses more minutes! Kuminga maturing within the game. Can we get rid of Beli and get some big on the buy-out market? So damn risky depending on incredible play by Looney each and every game. Go Dubs!

Anonymous

Really love looney man, always knows where to position himself for a rebound.

Jimmy Ji

I am going to regret missing the 4th quarter of this game...

Anonymous

Interesting, who on the Warriors roster could teach JK that jab step, I don’t recall anybody use it on current roster.

Anonymous

Think we should name moody "Bad Moody"

Thomas Ogas

HELL YEAH, Alch! Just an outstanding breakdown! Got me all fired up and just loving what I'm seeing from this team right now.

Anonymous

This win gave me more joy than any other this season!

Anonymous

Love how you’ve switched from hate to love D Lee. He used to be a guy always with the potential to be what we need off the bench, and last year and this year is a certified spark. Cheese with that decent game finally. Best game from him so far, which isn’t sayin much

Anonymous

Moody is good. We really got depth.

Siddhant S

The 2nd best win of the season behind Christmas Day.

Anonymous

I love your schedule! Thanks for the content

Matt Hanna

im with the community. Get Moody and JK more minutes over Belly. His defense is so bad that it doesnt really matter if we got smaller guys on bigs for defense. Fun game to watch. Seems like Moody needs more situational minutes with us

Anonymous

Seeing Jo-Ku mugging the refs was hilarious , plus the little attitude he showed was awesome to see

Anonymous

Holy shit, I'm no draft-history expert but MoJo at 7 & 14 might be the best pair of low-lottery picks in a while. HUGE games from them.

Anonymous

Shoutout to big Loon, keeping the team alive during the hot streaks of the Spurs.

Anonymous

I keep rewinding it back to Pooles dagger 3 and laughing at that keegan-Michael Key looking cat trying to distract him.

Anonymous

You know Steph is faithful to Ayesha if that's what he's wearing on a night off

Anonymous

Wow, so much to be excited about in this game. No Steph, Wig, Klay, Dray, Iggy, OPJ, Beli, Wiseman... no fuckin problem. First off I think Moody could be able to guard bigger forwards better than Bjelica with that length and athleticism, and seems like a smart enough player to make the right passes within the offense. Time for him to eat into his minutes bit by bit. JoKu is a straight up alpha, you can tell he has extremely high expectations for himself. He understands his gifts, and can't wait to learn to use them more effectively. I loved how pissed off he was getting as he fired himself up for that 4th quarter run, but without getting out of control. Just checked out his per36 stats, 20/7/2. Finally, I hope this is the get-right game for DLee that gets him back into his early-season form. When he's efficient off the bench it takes so much pressure off the starters and helps preserve their energy for the second half.

Anonymous

These guys with few minutes fuel their hunger. I will give Kerr and the front office the benefit to distribute the minutes... they need to keep the hunger and earn the minutes. Looks like Belly might be out for a big

Anonymous

Mad I missed the 4th quarter but your breakdown still lit me up - I knew the outcome and was still damn near off my seat Alch!! 33-13 run in the last 8 minutes to close it out. Proud of our young fellas. Second favourite game of the season. Excited for what these young fellas can do for us down the stretch of the season. And JK had IT. Undeniably.

Anonymous

Kuminga has Klay level dgaf.

Anonymous

Great recap Alc, as usual. I'm am a little disappointed. After they showed a shot of Landale, I thought for sure you would make a comment in the video. That guy looked like a freaking yeti or something!

Anonymous

Pop whipping that mask off and giving the mean mug. Love it.

Anonymous

Kumingod!!! I haven’t had this much fun rooting for a team in a minute. I think the front office deserves to be criticized when they fuck up and they deserve credit when credit is due. Great draft and great coaching staff changes. I think we are witnessing the dynasty in motion. It’s really exciting stuff. Thanks for your work Alch. Great breakdown as always

Anonymous

Your narration today got me hyped! Great analysis as always

Anonymous

Present and future of this team looking real bright after that W. Kuminga and Moody in the same draft seemed like great value in the summer but now it’s looking like an absolute heist

Anonymous

Love that Loon finally getting his well-deserved props for his rebounding IQ!

Anonymous

I still think looney is one of the worst finishing centers in the league but his positioning is elite as well as his effort. He would be an all star if he had any athleticism especially in the warriors system. Moody's minutes are far more impactful than chioza, wonder how much better he would be now if he had more minutes throughout the season. It's not easy to average 27 even in the g league. Second best win of the season, beating suns on Christmas was better.

Anonymous

Theres a three day break for the Warriors after the Sacramento game, would you be willing to do a big game breakdown of other teams? 76ers vs Mavs on Friday, or Nets vs Nuggets on Sunday perhaps. Or take the days off, you obviously deserve it.

Anonymous

D Lee is so clutch, remember last season he had that stretch where he had a game winner and some game winning free throws the next. Also impressed how low in his stance JK can get, its crazy for a guy that size, love how he attacks people on defence, just jumps out of them. Also I like how when he fouls he fouls, unlike wiseman who would get those silly touch fouls

Anonymous

If you think about it Loon has been playing with very prominent shooters his entire career so it makes sense he is able to track these rebounds like he does..practicing for years with the same guys

Anonymous

yah, what an epic way to air out the roster and see whats what. I'm ALL in on the rooks and JP moving forward. SO much to say about all 3 of them. All share the competitive spirit that I think is what Steph references when he says Chip DNA. Easy to say all this after this game but damn, if JWise lives up to any of his hype, the front office is gonna look like light years ahead for real. And after this season, I am convinced Wigs is the perfect bridge between the generations given his age and prime beginning to emerge in front of our eyes. Hard not to be hyped bout the Warriors going from the Mud for so many years, having the run we did, two years of hell, and now it all seems like a bad dream and now we set for a run this year, and who knows how many down the road. Feels like we are the Spurs 2.0!

Anonymous

Yep Poole is actually tied with Steph for free throw pct. at 91.3 pct, I had to double check that because that suprised the hell out of me. Man our drafts the last 3 years have been ridiculous, basically 2 alphas in Poole and Kuminga and then Moody and Wise on top of that? My word I'm so glad the front office was patient and didn't sell out for a trade

Anonymous

Yep even when DLee was missing everything right after he came back from maternity leave he still was hitting shots we absolutely had to have

Anonymous

Just very happy to see Moody coming along along with JK and Poole. Hope GP2 is fine🙏

Anonymous

Mark my word, moody, jk, jp will be the next trios

Anonymous

Favorite win of the year. I really like Moody - I remember from your breakdown before the draft you were high on him too. The ball is in Kerr’s court now 😵‍💫

Anonymous

That's one of the most impressive and improbable wins you'll ever see in the NBA. Without Steph, Wiggins, Draymond, Andre, Klay, or Wiseman, they overcame a 16-pt 4Q deficit on the road---which says a lot about depth, chemistry, and competitiveness.

Ezra Abbey

loved seeing mike brown & kerr having a great time on the bench, their reactions were like "oh yeah we got something special here:

Matthew Velez

Not gonna lie I was watching the game and decided to turn it off after the 3rd quarter because in my head I was thinking we weren't gonna win, but we had a good stretch of offense and defense. So I took a shower and checked the score and we were freaking in it. So glad we got the win, but I'm upset with myself for not watching all the way through and not believing in the young core we got. Thanks for the breakdown alch, I really enjoyed it.

Russ

Kuminga is killing people out there. I remember people making excuses for Wiseman being 19, with JK he's playing like he's 25 already. Moody has now earned minutes when everyone is back, his stroke is as pure as honey, same balanced wide feet as Klay of old. I have this feeling Poole has played a lot more Ball in a gym so he can dive and fall on wood, Guys that play more outdoor ain't spending their days falling down on cement., Steph same, much more wood than cement.

Anonymous

Moody's jumper looks sooo clean!

Anonymous

almost as improbable as our starters losing to indiana's bench a few weeks back lol

Anonymous

to be fair kuminga did play a season of professional ball in the Gleague and wiseman played 3 non conference college games. but agreed kuminga is way more nba ready than expected

Anonymous

Huge win! Takeover gene flash!

Natto Santo

As much as I am happy about the rooks, I see one things for improvement. 1) We need to put JK in a mid post for 1v1, so he can develop that FIRST STEP from triple threat. 2) with the size of MM, he should develop his back to the basket game.He has the frame and length to be a post up fadeaway shooter like Livington.

Anonymous

It's crazy dow much better guys get by dominating in the G League. JP and now Moody. Seems like it's all mental and confidence with these rookies.

Anonymous

The whole game I was like "when is alch gonna bring up steph's suit?"

Anonymous

I knew he wanted to

John Z

Loved to see Moody shine

Jerry Heverly

From about 1976 until the early aughts the Warriors reliably lost back to back games in Texas EVERY YEAR. I think they lost at San Antonio for 19 consecutive years. Do you know how much better it is now? Darth Vader lost his mask?

Kevin Morris

The game was astounding and proved that all the early glimpses of Kuminga's brilliance and athleticism were accurate hints of his potential. Pound for pound he seems to have incredible strength and his quickness and first step look elite to my untrained eyes. I'm slightly worried about his elbow throwing though. It turns out he concussed both the Spurs centers from his elbows to their heads. He might be putting a target on his back for some hard and potentially injuring inducing fouls in the future. Fashion choices aside, the biggest take away for me was seeing Curry joyful again. Even when he put up the 40 piece against the rockets he was serious and somber throughout. If watching the young bucks rise helps elevate his mood then we might see a nice stretch of games from him and right the ship.

Daniel Fries

Kuminga was born and I presume grew up at least partly in Goma - one of Africa's epicenters of recruitment for child soldiers. When he was 6 years old there was a major battle there, and 200,000 refugees fled the city. (was he there?) Whether he was involved at all with any of that I have no idea - but growing up in that environment, what kid is gonna give 2 shits about accidentally breaking a millionaire's nose in a game? It must all look so tame to him. "Hotel Rwanda" is a nice film about the area - though from a few years previously. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goma#:~:text=On%20October%2027%2C%202008%2C%20the,border%20just%20north%20of%20Goma.

Look…I know Dlee has kinda proven the doubters wrong, but moving him might be even more enticing than ever. I doubt the rotation in the post season is gonna be anywhere long enough to play him anyway. Give moody the minutes the rest of the year. Maybe you can package belli with it. Whatever we do, it would be nice to clear up atleast 2 roster spots. Maybe Larry Nance Jr will get bought out? Food for thought

Chip Tingle

Anyone else in favor of this same lineup giving more rest to the vets against the Kangs? Sacto is a capital of velour!

Anonymous

Small sample size....but great win! You can't ask more from (end of the) bench players. This game also gives them stuff to learn in film sessions.

Anonymous

I seriously doubt we move Dlee, no matter what kind of value he has on the market. Almost no chance Curry OKs that

Anonymous

How sweet in Moody's stroke? He and JK can make an impact on both sides of the ball. It's an embarrassment of riches.

Anonymous

this was cool little game
