Being at this game was amazing to watch

Shea Johnson

My god Kuminga is a fucking specimen

Checkin in 😎🤙🏾

Small sample, but funny that Steph started shooting much better after he had the scare with his shooting hand. Reminds me of how Jimmy G will often starts games horrendously and then lock in once he takes a hard hit. Sometimes an athlete needs something painful or scary to snap them out of overthinking and let them just play in the flow. That being said, really praying Steph's hand isn't swelling today.

Anonymous

The last 30 seconds of Steph is so telling. He knows we got one!

Anonymous

Kuminga and Wigs for Dlo😭😭 Id take either of them ALONE over dlo

Rob00

Steph nodding and smirking approving of Kuminga.. Oh yuhhh we got one

I love JTA and his story but the past month he's shown to be limited to the point that it's apparent he should only be playing against backups. Ive been fristrated that he's continued to get minutes over Kuminga and my god did last night only make me more certain JK should be getting all of JTA's and Belly's minutes. I do not think he will be any of these guys, but he has the body of kawhi, the speed of young lebron, and plays like Giannis (prioritzes getting downhill, good playmaking, never passive). Dude's got to play NOW. As for Steph's shooting, he may have shot 40% from three last night, but what the hell is up with his misses? They aint even close.

Anonymous

In his current form, JTA only shines as the leader of the garbage time squad. He's actually quite potent in there and during those minutes. lol! But during the other times of the game... except for his hustle and clearly the will to want to contribute.. its just not there right now.

What does this game do for Klay's psyche? Seeing the team roll with him out of the lineup will surely make him question his shot selection. I also think the Warriors tend to perform better when they have the confidence to beat a team. Thursday night in Milwawkee, I don't think this team had the confidence to deal with Giannis and the Buck's size especially without Draymond on the floor. If Draymond continues to miss time, I would like to see Kerr try something new and rollout a starting lineup with Steph, Klay, Wigs, Kuminga and Looney. It might still be too early to tell but was it a mistake to start Klay right away?

Kuminga forcing kerr to play him

Anonymous

Hey Unc! Can you hear that ??? its the bulls cheeks this time 😂

Anonymous

yo alc that ultra soft shit killed me 🤣🤣🤣

Windfury

1st team to ever be down by 30 points at half in one game and then up by 30 points at half in the next game; an odd accomplishment. I am glad they got a good win on this tough road trip with Dray out injured. Hopefully its a sign of the new rotations with Klay starting to come together.

Video out sooner than usual, my guy is hyped!

If Wiseman can come close to fulfilling his potential he along with Kuminga and Wiggins would constitute the most athletically potent front court that I can remember!

Ezra Abbey

steph's always been like that, remember when he turned his ankle in okc, or was it against the blazers

Anonymous

Naw Klays psyche don’t waiver he knows who he is. We all knew there would be some growing pains acclimating an all star caliber player into the team after what 2 1/2 years of being sidelined. Remember when Klay was clanking

Anonymous

That Iggy pass to D.Lee. Watch the video of it on YT (NBA Highlights version) and just watch Steve Kerr. Bloke goes from 'wtf was that pass' to 'oh I have to celebrate' 😄

Anonymous

Hopefully this is a turning point for Steph. He looked happy to be playing basketball again. I think he needs to eliminate the bad 3s. Take good shots, take the midrange, and take open/near open 3s. When Steph is efficient, this team rarely loses. Wiggins was HUGE in this game, dominated the first quarter along with Iggy.

Dashaya Toney

You were outta pocket with this one Alch that Kuminga compression comment made me spit my drink 🤣

I've finally figured out King Kuminga's facial expression after one of his high flying dunks. Its the same expressionless face that I saw Dr. J have back in his day. Like shit that's just what I do, aint nothin to me, y'all enjoy it if u want, I don't much care. Like imagine u could bully everyone all day in the paint and fly like that every game your entire life. Would u be that fired up when u did it 8 more times during game 1,000? Exactly and that's how MJ, Dominic, Dr. J, and Kuminga feel. Personally I love that face, its the face of a killer. and he's our killer. Long live the King.

That wiggins/lavine bit was straight comedy. Would love a full video just of voiceovers.

I liked the Shawn Marion comparison Steve gave for Kuminga (and A. Slater mentioned). Someone who ran up and down the floor hard. And that the reason JK hasn't been playing more is because of his inconsistently in this area. They're trying to mould him into a great player. Use your athletic gifts, run the floor hard, fix your errors and you'll be rewarded with minutes. Hard not to like JK. Puts his head down and gets to work. Just had a flashback to the interview he had when drafted by the Warriors. "Would you be more excited to be rookie of the year or get the Warriors back into the playoffs?" - "I don't worry about ROTY. As long as we get to a certain point where the team is where it wants to be, that's all that matters. As long as we get to the final and win it, that's all that matters. ROTY, that doesn't matter". Also, man, D. Lee missed some wiiiide open 3s.

athleticalchemy

I get they are holding him to a high standard. But you could find everyone outside a maybe JTA trotting back several times a game. I mean Beli! Sheeit

Anonymous

What y'all think that smile Steph had in his face at the end meant? Lol

Anonymous

Hey ALC, do you think there's still an option for beli to be a point forward and run the offense of the second unit like you mentioned at the start of the season? His passing to Minga was on display last night and it really showed some possibilities.

Anonymous

Its time to start transitioning in JK and Moody in for JTA and Lee. Our main competition are long, athletic teams like Memphis. Those teams give us trouble. They may be rookies, but JK and Moody match up better with the teams that matter. JTA and Lee are good, smart players, but they are really limited athletically, which gets exposed versus the teams like Memphis. JK certainly earned more minutes last night. He had the ESPN guys drooling.

Anonymous

Can’t wait to see our rook start pushing around these soft bigs on rival teams like JJJ, KAT, AD, Ayton

Anonymous

Just to add onto Alc's comment...we got Kuminga & Wiggs for DLo. Remember, the only reason we had DLo was just a free giveaway from Nets to open up salary space for Durant. He was like trash to put out on the curb to make room for the new toy. So in a way, the universe decided that by losing KD to free agency...the Warriors deserved to have Wiggins and Kuminga gifted to the franchise (w/a little help from GM Bob).

Anonymous

Great to see Kuminga playing serious moments. The broadcasters and bloviators like Stephen A. were acknowledging Kuminga and saying to basically play him more... Its not just us And to all those that are hoping and thinking that Wiseman will be their savior in the post, for basket protection, etc. , I'm very disappointed to say he probably is still just a pair of big tits. What he is and what he can be are ideas and wishes inside our heads. And this recent tune up surgery is more of an indication of bad things to come. I think Karma is coming to get us. We screwed up big time by not picking LeMelo

Anonymous

More like the Warrior got Wiggins and Kuminga for Durant lol

Patrick Kennedy

YES, you said it, Alchemy: We got Wiggins AND Kuminga for D-Lo…most amazing thing is we should also say: we lost Durant and got Wiggins and Kuminga…that has to be one of the more amazing ‘saves’ in GM basketball history….

Anonymous

Great great vib man! Your the Goat !

Jerry Heverly

The main reason we should keep Wiseman is that we have an organization that can, and does, develop young players -- like Kuminga. Any big man they could get now would be flawed. Cousins is a shadow of his former self; Turner is the epitome of a me/myself/and I player. Never trade out of weakness. Wiseman's value is as low as it can get. I like the idea of another commenter -- use Belly as a point forward to distribute and occasionally pop a three.

Anonymous

The frontcourt had a decent combined FG%: JK 83%, Loon 80%, Wiggs 73%.

Anonymous

Bob Myers also an alchemist

Wiggs + Kuminga for D-Lo --- absolute robbery! Light years!

Anonymous

I honestly think Kuminga could be a guard version of Giannis, not as strong or long, but quicker and bouncier. Plus a more natural ball handler and shooter already. I'm taking him over Wiseman easily now. Didn't even talk about his defense..

Anonymous

What role do you think LaMelo would be playing on our team?

Anonymous

Watch Kerr start JTA next game

AK

Fine if he starts him, as long as Kuminga gets the bulk of those mins. But as we know, Kerr can be stubborn

Anonymous

Giannis in his early years (when he just started dominating) his skill set was really rough, his handling, passing and shooting were quite terrible and like Alc used to say the only effective move he had was two big steps into the paint. Its quite clear that Kuminga is already a much better player in some of those areas comparing to a younger Gianni's, particularly ball handling and court vision

Anonymous

“Everyone has rituals” Come on, man. That shit’s hilarious.

Anonymous

Too bad Giannis doesn't work out with other players from other teams. I bet he and JK would have some great sessions. I won't get too high after this game. I still haven't forgotten the beat down by Milwaukee. There are still things that need fixing.

Major Powers

Bring back Klay Thoughts™, Alc (when the time is right, after he's back to full minutes)

Anonymous

Oh forgot to mention that the comments in the video cracked me up.....

Ken Bradford

Steph mvp stock just sliding down

Anonymous

I would be interested to see Wiggins take over Draymond's role as the facilitator on occassion. What we lose in play making, you more than make up for in scoring ability. When Steph gives it up to Wiggs in a 4 on 3, I like knowing the guy handling can make a jump shot or drive to the rim. Doesn't need to be a regular thing, but would like to see how it plays out.

KING KUMINGA

Jo Ku!!!!! I can't lie, I'm feeling pretty gay for this dude right about now. Love love love Kuminga
