I'm glad that Kerr and his staff learned from their mistakes last year. They threw Wiseman into the deep end with no preparation or guidance and left him to flounder. This year they're bringing Kuminga along gradually and defining a role on this team for him...Hopefully, they'll do the same with Wiseman instead of that whatever the f*** they were doing last season.

We need NBCBA to pick you up

All I want to see is Kuminga Blam on KD Oh and shut it him down, block his shot, and eat his whole lunch That’s my dream for tomorrow night :-)

Anonymous

So true...plus this season there is some more spacing than last season. So wiseman should have some more wiggle room. For this game.... it's a real thing that there is a home team advantage.

Funny you say what is Dell feeding Steph. I watched the Hornets broadcast and Dell said he took Steph out for a steak dinner last night and tried to get him to order dessert to fatten him up lol. But I’m with you as far as them not deserving to win. The team didn’t have any fire during the game. They didn’t get as many easy baskets as they should have considering the back door ones the Hornets were giving up. Steph seemed weirdly disinterested with the effortless threes he was chucking and not closing out at times on shooters.

The loon joke had me in tears “lookin like he’s asking his crush to prom”

Paul Hanson

Alch-you're right-they didn't deserve to win that game. You just can't win them all but hopefully the team learns from each adverse moment how to be better next time. Steph admited he 'wanted it so bad'-as a musician I can tell you that THIS thing he's talking about is real. You have to turn yourself down a bit when your passion exceeds your self control. Not too worried about Steph in the long run. Kuminga is so exciting-even in a loss I feel great excitement watching him develop. At no point before the season did I ever think the team would be 11-2 at this point. About all I can ask for in Brooklyn is for the Dubs to play their game minus the turnovers and rushed shots. It's so, so early in the season-Stephen A Smith is foaming at the mouth ("ZHA ZHA PAGULIA! ANDREW BOGUS!") as he's basically a carnival barker hyping a team that's proven to be great for ratings. It's great to see the Dubs back but it's a hell of a long season that ends in June. So buckle up everybody!

On Miles Bridges body type comparison to Lebron, Miles is listed at 225 and Lebron played at 260 in Miami.

athleticalchemy

If you want to get technical about it… generally you add 10lb per inch. They list bron at 6’9 and bridges at 6’6.. but I think they are much closer in size than what’s listed. Maybe find a pic

Without a doubt, the only saving grace of watching this game was Kuminga. Yeah the overall team defense was nice, but like you said, it just always felt as if we were down 15 even if it was a 3 pt game. The turnovers were only 15 but might has well have been 25 considering how they always seemed to come during bad times. I definitely thought Moody would be the guy getting real minutes before the season started, but now seeing as Moodys physical stature just isnt quite ready for the NBA yet, I'm LOVING every minute that Kuminga plays. Even when he makes a mistake like when he fouled Derozan the other night, you can see that he makes an immediate adjustment. If there's anything Poole can do right now to be useful, its to prioritize going to the rim/floaters, and helping Kuminga with his FT shooting lol. I dont really want to see Poole shoot 3s anymore. If theyre wide open? Sure, launch it. But him taking these more difficult, step back, leaning 3s is killing us. I really hope we arent in a bad shooting slump. Going 9/39 as a team should be an outlier, and Tuesday would be a nice time to have a bounce back game. But if TOs and bad shooting continue, especially for guys like Bjely and Lee, then we might be in for a rough night.

Nathan Glanzer

The only stat that really stood out this game was the bad 3 point shooting. Everything else seemed pretty normal but the game was super sloppy on both sides. Calls were kinda suspect as well but it is what it is. Still got a nice lead on the competition although our next few games could be 0-3 if we play like we did last night. Hoping we pull a nice upset to show people who we really are tomorrow night. I want to see Kuminga on KD and see how the rook deals.

Natto Santo

Kuminga MAN, his D is just top-notch and only 19 now, with Draymond and AI to teach him, this dude is gonna be DPOY one day. GP Wiggin Kuminga Moody and Wiseman can really be elite in defense in the future.

Anonymous

Kuminga was a plus 8 in his minutes, he is really going to be something on both ends if he can learn to shoot free throws. Steve should keep putting Kuminga in with the understanding that he is put in the game every time to play defense first and the Warriors should intentionally let him guard all positions at some point, 1-5, and see what happens.

Natto Santo

BTW this is the first time, all our shooters were having a bad night, Curry, Porter, Bjelica, D Lee and Poole combined 5-29 in 3s, these odds are low. We will bounce back easily, as long as the D is staying elite and fewer low-IQ-turnovers, we will be winning again.

I'm with you. Rookies generally get used by vets because they are eager to jump and vets like to pump fake. Pump fake is not really KD's game because he's so long and able to get his shot anytime without that but if he gets a rookie in from of him KD will want to work him with his hesi and crossovers, drive and embarrass Kuminga and that will be a good measure of just how good Kuminga is going to be on defense. Can he stay in front can he contest shots?

Anonymous

Jetlagged Warriors weren't ready for a Hornets squad that was interested in playing defense. Still, it was anyone's game in the end.

Reports saying klay coming back soon like real soon.. Looking scary for the league

"Steph Curry has chosen his mother’s side in the divorce" according to an article I saw. Maybe there was a lot of drama and home and that threw off his game prep. I can tell you when my parents went through it, it was damn stressful.

Anonymous

At one point, Oubre was in the corner and got the ball for a three and stepped out of bounds. Am I making this up in my head or did he do that every single game for us? I love Jonathan Kuminga and I am not afraid to tell the world

Jimmy Ji

We also had the advantage in FT attempts but only hit 17/25 so there was definitely a path to a victory in this game. Hopefully the loss will re-focus the team against the Nets. I'll gladly take the L in this game if we can get the W tomorrow.

athleticalchemy

They gonna let him get all the way ready.. I except him to look good right away… as crazy as that sounds

Anonymous

How does a 6’6/7 Draymond get out hopped by 6’1 Terry. Smdh. Also Beli drives to the rim are hella sus.

Anonymous

Haha "SNL version of Mark Cuban" that's the perfect description of that guy lol. About the game it's honestly crazy that we played bad, shot bad and Charlotte actually shot 40 percent from 3 and we still had a chance to win, man I love our defense

Anonymous

Nah, you got it mixed up. Baze dribbled the ball off his knee or missed a dunk. Oobs stepped out of bounds. :-D

Anonymous

I love how they're handling Kuminga this season. Of course, situation changed and now we have much more leeway with it. Last year I don't think Wiseman was ready at all, physically. Mentally that's a given, but Wiseman picked stuff up pretty quick. If anything I think Wiseman would've developed better and not get hurt if he had a good long run in the G-League, but hindsight is 20/20. This year I'm hoping Wiseman added a good 10-20 pounds of muscle on that frame, boy be looking like Sonics KD out there playing Center.

Anonymous

Thanks for the video you're the best

Anonymous

And I like that new uniform, much better looking than promo pictures. Warriors look mean in them.

athleticalchemy

You are right…If we had just wiseman in lil spurts like this it would have looked and felt much different

Anonymous

dad was steppin out on mom? or mom was steppin out on dad? regardless, nobody wins, and the vibe in charlotte was off.

Ryan Mitchell

Straight fire as per usual. I’m always quick the throw shade at Wiggins, so I need to recognize his stellar play these last few games. Very strong 💪🏻

dam always roasting looney lmao!

It's been a revelation--this monster has been hiding under that laconic personality this whole time? Goddamn...just hope Wiggs can keep his claws out and blood hot, and not go back to hooping like he 's ambling through the park Sunday morning in his flip-flops and got talked into joining his uncle's pickup game.
