Big Warriros fan Alch 😆 just messing around

Anonymous

Lol I was refreshing my Gmail for this notification!

Anonymous

Really waiting for this one!

Anonymous

looney lowkey had a great game. also, i felt like we were helping up the nets players from the floor wayyy to much.

Anonymous

Warms my heart watching Harden not get foul calls

Anonymous

I am so pumped about this win!

Anonymous

Been waiting for this all day - Aye Alch, before I watch, just wanted to mention that I noticed you've been back on YouTube with some good content. Maybe you should consider posting up a few select marquee game breakdowns like this one (and like maybe 4 or 5 of the total 82) to your YouTube, to give the non-paying audience a taste of what they can get if they become a patron. The general Warriors fanbase has grown and you might be able to get some more patrons out of it. Just a thought

Anonymous

Steph is a one of a kind player that changed the game (like Wilt). I doubt I'll live long enough to see another Warriors player as good as Steph, he'll always be the Warriors "magic feather", but everything I know about basketball tells me that Kuminga (not Poole, not Moody, not Wiseman) is the player that will be in the tier of Klay/Dray/Steph. Watching every game the last 2 years makes the excitement of what we are doing now all the better.

Nathan Glanzer

Alch, if this comment gets more then 20 likes you have to do a video of just Kuminga's minutes in the last few games. I want you following him every minute he's been out there while breaking down what we see. Kid's got the potential to be transcendent. Who's with me?

Anonymous

I am concerned with other W’s poor shooting lately. Do you think they are tired playing defense? Is there any strength training still going on which may affect shooting?

John Pettus

Was waiting for it!!

Anonymous

Is safe to Say Steph the best player in the league now. I been saying it but now I know it’s a fact

Anonymous

Playing on the road mostly, the 3 doesn't fall like it does at home for role players. That's why you need your stars on the road more than at home

Anonymous

If you didn't see it, Harden's pre/post game outfit made him look like a fat, pink snoball cupcake. Barnett's rule about the legs going first is on it's way with James dude is outta shape to boot.

Anonymous

ive been hitting my refresh on my email all day for this. i've already watched the game, rewatched the game, and watched the highlights but nothing will compare to the hot commentary by Alch. Time to get the popcorn and hit play.

Anonymous

I was fortunate enough to see the game in person last night. This team is truly the greatest show in basketball. The crowd was easily 60-40 dubs fans and it was wild! Other notes: it’s been a trend but the defense in the 3rd was SMOTHERING. It felt like Brooklyn didn’t register an assist for like a 10 minute span. Huge shout out to Wiggins. Started slow but was so huge closing the 2nd. Also put the clamps on James all game Kuminga has that special something about him. Obviously he’s a big guy but in person it wasn’t his size that stands out. He is absolutely rapid. Super fast up and down the court and the reactions on that weak side block were next level. Minutes only going up… Last thing. When dray hit the 3 it was steph that legit ran on the court and dapped him up. Ran into the ref and everything 😂

Anonymous

revenge game for Chiozza... lmao

Ezra Abbey

at this point i dont even mind saying steph is the greatest pg of all time, fuck the old heads lol

Anonymous

I was at the game too and I'd dare to say that the noise was about 80-20 dubs fans. I almost felt bad from the tipoff that Steph was getting about 5x more noise than any of the players from the Nets. Incredibly surreal and honestly haven't felt that kind of energy in any arena since the Oracle days

Anonymous

I was busting up laughing every time Harden drove, he was like a toddler looking for attention. Every little bumb he was holding his face and checking for blood. Man beating a Harden team always feels good but to do it like this against KD as well is amazing

Anonymous

Indeed, one video like this and it will bring more people into the club for sure

Anonymous

Alch, how can I get in on the discord?

Anonymous

Intro was fire

Anonymous

Okay, the lines about Harden had me fucking dead. Also, "KD slithering to the ground" after the comments about him following Harden's lead (of folding) were just too good. Lastly, the line about the Chiozza revenge game and the sweater 💀

Xgatt

I am legit shocked at Kuminga's impact so far. Every time he is in, he makes something or the other happen. And he has instincts for spacing, timing, reading the play, and more that bode really well for his growth. Plus he is built like a tank with insane strength. Reminds me of a young Kawhi honestly. Put all that next to Andre and Draymond mentoring him all year, and whooooowee.

Anonymous

been waiting for this Alch. I gotta start with kuminga, he has been getting my attention every time he's on the court and his defense is real, guess the Draymond and Iggy effect is happening.

Anonymous

Thank you as usual my man. Really enjoying the games this season, even the losses. The heart and will is plain to see. Win or loss, I stand by this team.

Anonymous

Simply lovely.

Anonymous

low key feel bad from KD but dude made his decision to have his own team and guess what, we got love for em but between the whistles we dropping you off for that decision to leave the bay.

Anonymous

Even though I can see how great we are this season I still just don't quite believe it, maybe it was all the media pre season saying we were going to be the 7th seed getting to me, but we are not much more talented than last year so it is incredible to see the system working.

Dami I

not surprised to hear mvp chants for curry in brooklyn. Seems like in the past every time he plays there he gets a lot of love for some reason.

Anonymous

Gotta be honest. Past week or so I remembered that the Ws actually made my life happier during that 5 year run. And I am also very happy for The Alchemy Organization bc you got it brother! But I am not all sunshine. It makes me happy that the Wiggins haters will now shut the fck up and it took what another 1-2 points a game? Also Dray is back new jack. I cant wait for JK and Klay to come back.

Nathan Glanzer

That first call on Old Beardo was a travel not an 8 seconds. But he did have to travel to get over the line before the 8 seconds lol.

Anonymous

These last few videos and pods make me wanna run through a damn wall with how hype I am and Klay ain’t even back yet

Anonymous

Credit to the coaching staff and front office, got rid of baze and what's his name in Charlotte, we have pieces that fit our system much more now and the defense we are playing is incredible. I was happy when my team was competitive against the big teams last year, now they are blowing out the big teams with defense and transition buckets, steph doesn't even have to go off for them to win.

Anonymous

As you say, styles make fights, but that break down was some of your best work, had to watch it thrice!

Anonymous

"You never know what you got till it's gone" your youth is showing, that was Joni Mitchell!

Shea Johnson

Honestly the best breakdown you have ever done. Perfectly mixing the humor with the ball, you’re the king Alch

Anonymous

I want KD to lose the marriage, I want Steph and the warriors to go back to owning the league, but I don't want it to go down some humiliating path. And right now the beginning of a real bad look for KD looks possible. If KD had Kyrie and they were a perennial contender but never won and Steph and the Warriors won a title or two more, thats one thing. But the fact that the guy KD left Steph for isnt even there, and Steph is getting MVP chants in your own building.......and Harden might be looking to dip if things go poor this season. And KD just signed his extension. Jesus

Anonymous

That opening exchange with Durant hitting the mid range and the announcers saying “unstoppable” and then curry coming back hitting that 3 for the same response. Written like a god damn novel. Also very small moment but Loon got his pocket picked by mills at one point and immediately took it back. I was very happy with Loon there lol

Anonymous

Also that end of half Wiggins 3 is been the loudest I’ve yelled “no fucking way” in a long time. Maybe second was that iggy 3. It was just ridiculous, y’all

Anonymous

Hey Alch, great breakdown as usual. I have to ask about Klay. How will Klay fit into our rotation when he comes back? Who’s minutes will he take away the most? Klay is my all-time favorite Warrior, but can his re-integration hurt the Warriors momentum when things are going so well right now? I feel so bad even asking this questions when I know this intelligent organization will somehow figure it all out.

Abhi Kelkar

Our team showed the fuck up, nothing much more to say about us Personally if vaccination requirements loosen in the Spring and they get Kyrie back, then the nights have a chance. Also Harden will probably be in better shape by then. Otherwise it'll be very hard for KD to carry them 16 games like he tried to do last year on his own

Anonymous

One of the most satisfying games ever because: 1. Wiggins, Draymond, and Iguodala shooting buzzer beaters rightin front of KDs face 2. Curry dominating matchup, offense and defense overwhelming Nets, a true "How's our motion offense now? We won without you!" 3. Nets stadium was Curry stadium -heart piercing for KD who wanted his own fan base and wanted to be seen as the better player. You know he is on his burner account after this game.

Anonymous

I'm hyped about Kuminga, kid just already has a nose for the flow of the game. By playoffs I can see him being the 7th man over Poole. I hope by next season he'd have developed some touch from mid-range. Then we'd have our home-grown KD and maybe finally a real post option.

Anonymous

What a statement from the Dubs last night! Talk about dialed in man... It is amazing to see Steph ultra locked in; even his celebrations seemed less goofy than usual. In line with what you said today about Steph being the brighter star, which I agree is no stab at Durant, it is amazing to watch Steph ascend to such heights because he does it by first elevating his teammates (motion offense, finding the hot hand, getting others involved amidst dropping a 50 piece, etc.). I know as the man of my family, I can want to play "hero-ball" because it is kinda what I observed growing up, when really, elevating my girls is the focus I need to have. It is really what makes the Chef so amazing, in my opinion. You always hear Kerr credit Steph (and Klay's) love for life outside basketball as big factors in what makes them so great. Call me a homer on this one but I truly believe this team/next season's team could become better than the Durant era. Less star power, but as a whole, even greater. In my opinion, from a one-on-one, "I can score on you, you can't score on me" type of perspective, I think Durant is the top of the list (side note, who would you pick in an all NBA player, one-on-one tourney?) but the beauty of the sport is how one man can take over, but it takes a team to win a chip and in the team setting, is Curry not the greatest on Earth right now? In terms of, who has the biggest effect on winning or in other words, who raises the ceiling the highest? Has to be the Chef. Excited to see Wiseman! Honestly, if Wiseman proves to be a mid-tier starting Center of the league, is that not pretty damn scary for the league considering Wiseman's lack of experience. If he comes out and proves his suspect catching and slow reactions on defense last year were simply a lack of experience, man... Combine that with Draymond's teaching and how Andre said this offseason that he wants to help young James learn to use his mind over his body, even with all the physical gifts. Wiseman could be a physically-healthier Joel, without suffering the paradox of choice. Also, we know how they like to run Klay with the second unit... Would love to see how Poole looks, running the second unit with Klay spacing the floor. Speaking of Poole, I feel like some of his struggles will be erased when he is able to command the second unit. Look at guys like Dame who still cannot figure out how to juggle scoring versus distributing, I think we can want Poole to play as a shooter around Steph where I think he will have more natural success playing the Steph-role, in a sense. Saw an interview after the Wolves game where Wiggins talked about yamming on KAT and seeing the bench hyped off it, which Wiggins said after the game, the team being so hyped just made him want to bring the force ever more. The chemistry is real and I agree with you, the joyful energy around the team is bringing the best out of Wiggins. Hopefully it means enough to him to take a little discount to stay, but that is a problem for another day. Quick question for you... Scarier "Death Lineup": 21' all-NBA defense first team Steph, Klay, Wiggins, Draymond and GPII full court pressure or the mind of Andre? Last, a little homer prediction for next season... Klay going 59% from the field and over 55% from the arc, averaging three 3's a game. Bang bang. Keep up the good content Alch!

Jerry Heverly

Seven minutes into the fourth quarter DLee was blocked from a move toward the basket. He immediately turned and whipped a pass behind him without looking to Steph for an open three. How did he know Steph would be there? And I give Kerr credit for sticking with DLee while he recovers his shot. He hasn’t decreased his minutes at all despite his slump. Now give JTA some minutes. And take some minutes from the old guys, it’s a long season. I stick with my preseason prediction: Kuminga will have a 25/10 game in December on his way to ROTY.

paul reboca sr

Bro please stop it!! you called the Nets to SMASH us, SMH. once again CHEMISTRY vs YOUR TURN MY TURN. BE BLESSED

Anonymous

He'll take all of DLee's minutes and some of JP's when he's fully healthy

Sean An

Steph MVP

Patrick Kennedy

😂...Man, I had to stop it…couldn’t keep watching ‘cause I was laughing so much, “…the floppy donkey dong…” referring to Harden being guarded by Kuminga…man…

James Hardin's nick name should be "Rec Center James." He has the bod of guy who relives his glory days at the rec center after work everynight. He's let himself go. As far as Poole's 3 game, you nailed it: he has to realize he's not Steph. Stop pulling up from the logo. That's Steph's territory. Poole needs to take more quality 3's. He should lean on his float and midrange game. He can get to the basket, no doubt about that. Do more of that, less of the deep and contested 3's.

Anonymous

The Warriors are doing what I asked them to do, get out to a good start to help compensate for the Klay growing pains as he gets right. I'll hold off on my thoughts on Joku, but if he keeps this up.....man I'm gonna need some people to answer some questions. This is easily the best win of the year, with a distant 2nd being the Hawks game. Just don't get complacent.

Kahlil Baker

Man that arena cheering for Steph every time he touched the ball late in the fourth was crazy! I know that had to hurt hearing your home crowed cheering for the other team. Even Steph’s last three they all went crazy.

Anonymous

Sheeesh, yall notice how many dudes hit big 3's right in KD's face? Steph, Wiggins, Iggy, even Draymond. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound... what a fucking game

Strong Foru

KD look defeated last night

I remember when Ron Adams used to be in charge of the defense, they would never run too many exotic looks in the regular season because he likes to save them for the postseason. Now that we've missed the playoffs two straight years, it seems we are more willing to try these "janky" defensive schemes and I'm all for it. The triangle and two is a scheme that requires not only high IQ but excellent team communication and the more we play it, the better we will become at it. Most of the league has gone small anyways so I don't think giving up offensive rebounds will become as big of an issue considering we rank near the top in defensive rebounding.

Anonymous

When Barclays centre is louder than Chase 😂

Anonymous

dray was a beast!

Kevin Morris

Alch always does that. I think he doesn't want to jinks us, superstitious brother that he is :)

Anonymous

You’re such an OG for that beat, that album goes crazy

Kevin Morris

KD Left to prove that he could win a chip without Steph and now he's gonna have to go through Steph to get it. The post season is months away, but I don't envy him. In retrospect, signing KD to get guaranteed wins, while good for business, was unnecessary. Warriors management overreacted to the 73 win season debacle. If the Warriors had managed their energy and rested players like they should have that year they would have won the chip. They would have likely won without KD the next year as well because they would have used that salary money to pick up or keep good role players. I don't think KD was that good a fit in the warriors flowing offense. Look what we are seeing this year. Constant motion offense, a synchronized machine become ever more reliable each game. Today I watched some of the Suns, Mavericks game. Both teams just sit around, ball watching while the ball handler isos and you get the occasional kick out. It looks like completely amateur stuff when compared with the warriors and these are two of the top teams in the NBA! When the warriors are on, their offense is a thing of beauty to watch. Come to think of it, they flow like water on defense too. They are the most Zen team in the NBA.

Anonymous

hey alc who would you say top 5 dark horse mvp candidates are at this point in the season

Steph right now feels like we watching MJ. Greatness. It's happening. I LOVE the path Wiggins is on right now. I think there is SO MUCH to him just never having any realness to play for and having real ass adults around him who are world-class. I am SO EXCITED to see him grow the fuck up and let his nuts hang. I see his mind expanding and getting stronger, Steph said in post-game that WIgs can be the best player on the floor on both ends. I think he only says that cuz he knows Wigs needs to hear it and cuz it can be true. I feel like this year's playoff run is gonna be an initiation into manhood or some shit for him. I feel you with Poole, the rub has him thinking he can shoot like Steph, he has to do the work to differentiate what is his genius vs the chef, he'll figure it out. I hate how they were force feeding Kuminga tha God. I love that they are looking for him but it sucks when they do it so obviously and poorly. THAT WAS INSANE that they were cheering like that and chanting MVP. I really do feel like KD has regret. Playing with children/fools like Kyrie and Harden has to have him in his feelings bout not being a world-class basketball team and franchise. I just keep feeling this whole theme around maturation and rite of passage into adulthood. Dudes that grow up in the league don't always get what they need to actually adult on and off the court and it shows. I think that this is the year that Wigs becomes a Man, for real. And I think Kyrie and Harden haven't actually haven't become real grown men. I think KD has in many ways but just hasn't gotten the self-awareness yet that he is actually the greatest Robin to ever do it and the Chef was his prefect Batman. Oh well...lol

Its like 2015 with an added layer of bounce and inter-generational flow. I was always a little conflicted about the super-villains era with KD. Steph took a backseat for the team and it lost the organic underdog vibe, and of course it led to the famous Dray clash. Now it feels like the universe has aligned itself. We are back to the beautiful game and the not so little team that could, and can. The chickens have come home to roost and they are chanting MVP, and cheering for the opposition in the backyard of the Slim Reaper's new ramshackle superteam. Echoes of Dray screaming "We won without you, B***tch", are now poignant. Wiggs is looking like that vaxx had some aggressive superserum in its dosage. My beef on drafting Kuminga over Mitchell now looks moot with the emergence of GP2. Now we have an "off night' that may not have the scoring ability adds a "mitten" sized rim runner. (I do hope the national b-casters honor him with the "young glove" moniker instead). Ring or not this team is back with the joy, and its a beautiful thing to watch.

Anonymous

On Cloud 9 after this win. Alch with the masterful breakdown as usual. KD may have shown some class by dipping everybody up after taking the defeat. But you know his passive-aggressive ass was on some burner account later on spreading hate on social media.

Anonymous

And the 2021 Pulitzer award goes to........ Athletic Alchemy

Russ

SS I completely agree with u about Kuminga. I've said this before as well but u can tell he is the next great player, it's not Wiseman. My only fear with Kuminga is free throws, he will create fouls like potato chips but if he shoots 60% from the line it just wont work as well, if he can hit 75% or more it's going to be something to c. We've all seen the FT line seriously impact careers before.

gotta give real cred to kerr and the coaches. they really coaching up this team and rolling out some good shit

FLAWLESS commentary. As always
