ugly game, but better to have these types of performances against lowly teams than any of the top 10 teams.

Anonymous

Hey man. Good content as always. I might be alone on this. But would you ever cover a WNBA game? You talk about the difference of playing style and fundamentals so I would be interested in you explaining that.

Anonymous

AYO THAT FUGEES “JUAN TIME! JUAN TIME” snip near the 6min mark was gold 😂

Carla Davis

Hey, I would be interested in a WNBA game as well.

Alch youre absolutley right that Belli can get roasted on the perimeter, but considering how bad Loon has looked (not as effective switching on to guards as of yet this year, complete unwillingness to shoot, lack of rim proetction) shouldnt Belli at least be playing more than Loon?

'that big troll looking m'fucka getting the dunk' god dam that made me laugh. great breakdown, i solely rely on your vids man thanks

Anonymous

Excellent breakdown man! Didn't see the part where no one helped Bjelica get up =(

Anonymous

I like how even tho steves the head coach.. Mike brown and Kenny Atkinson still get up and coach. Kinda like offensive/defensive coordinator

Anonymous

Robinson-Earl was kinda a dog on that Nova squad though. I didn't watch too many games, but each time I did he held down the fort. I think Kalana made the comp of him to Patrick Patterson, and I think thats fair. In my eyes dude could've been picked much sooner. Also does it not feel like a Looney trade is in the air?

Anonymous

I enjoyed that game, but I enjoyed the breakdown more. Top form. I had the same thought about Wiggs. He's no longer in his vax pout.

Russ

I've always loved DLee, he is like JTA in effort, he can't defend like JTA but he can shoot that 3, and his floater has really developed into a threat when they close out too hard. Also he can get around people and create a little when he needs to. I love how Porter fits, doesn't he look like his knees are shot though when he moves? Seems like he's always about to pull up lame. Hope I'm wrong as he really gives us a piece.

Juan Tostada Anderson with a side of Cheeeeeze

Kerr's first instinct after the game was to console Belly. "Don't get down, your time will come." But your observation about no one helping him up after a fall is.....worrisome. He may already be trade bait, which would be sad given his early words about wanting to play with the Warriors. The meme for this team seems set: every night someone new is supposed to stand out, a nice way to play, not depending on any one player. Memphis should be a nice trial of this since they are the classic one-player-shall-lead-us crew.

You on Nike’s China payroll? B/c you love going out of the way to knock the Curry Brand IJS…

Anonymous

If you have any doubt that Wigs is a plus defender rewatch this recap focusing just on Wigs each play, that will show you how consistent his effort is play by play. Then consider he played 31 minutes, had 3 steals, 1 block and multiple shot contests and while he was doing all that he didn't commit a foul in 31 minutes..... Klay like.

I think if Alchemy is relating his daughter's real world experience with Curry shoes that 1. It's true. And 2. Alch is not doing it to gratuitously criticize a shoe brand. And 3. It's a comment in line with his frequent past commentary on how fragile a players health is in regards to footing and landing from jumps and because as fans we often hold our breath when a player goes to the floor without control. That's a lot of ands........

Yo Alch, great breakdown as always! Question for you about Poole's ceiling. There are players in the league whose scouting reports all end with the phrase, "... and then we pray." Steph, Klay, Dame, KD, Lebron, Harden, those kinds of elite threats. Now I know Poole may not have the overall superstar potential like the ones I mentioned. But offensively speaking, do you see him ever earning that tagline?

Kevin Morris

It must be hard for the Warriors to get up for this type of game. There isn't a lot of upside. Losing against a tanking team is embarrassing and winning doesn't prove much. Memphis will be the first real test of the season. Hopefully, we're locked in for that one.

How many PF are coming out of nova, seems like every few years they got one that’s just solid all around

Anonymous

Gonna be interesting to see if Poole can find a happy medium between that burst of speed that is honestly killin dudes but also not getting too sped up. It’s been a few games in a row that he seems to be trying to do too much and misses long on most of his jumpers. But shit man, I am happy with this team. I thought we could be pretty solid with the pickups but I now think we could be a seriously dangerous team if the pieces fall into place.

Giddy looks soft. I don't think he can be a star. I'm not sure if he was on a good team he would crack the rotation. Dude is lucky he got drafted by Bum City Thunder. Def wanna see the offense include Wiggs more. He can be a real problem when starts to cook. Wanna see everybody's confidence high and the offense surging, especially with Klay and JWise back.

Ryan Mitchell

A couple things: 1. Wiggins is out of my dog house for now. But at 30 mil, is this not the exception - should it really be celebrated? 2. SGA is NICE. Was kinda starting to think I would rather have him then Ja. Idk 🤷🏻‍♂️ 3. Always been a fan of D Lee. To average 13 pts at a 2-3 million contract is INSANE. 4. I feel like the team is better coached. Like at a whole new level - which is GREAT.

athleticalchemy

I think he can.. he still plays too fast. the model should still be CJ once he learns to change pace and use more deception the mind and tools are there.

athleticalchemy

What I would tell JP is... try going from slow to fast rather than fast to slow specifically on his pull ups. But yeah if JW can give us real min we might be a problem

athleticalchemy

SGA or Ja is a good question... I think ja has the advantage doing it on a playoff team.. but I like SGA long term with his size and style of play he should be at his peak longer

athleticalchemy

got see about 20gm to see what his role will be. Maybe protect him more by not switching on his match up

athleticalchemy

Not sue if I will find time to go back to this last season. But I definitely can do some moving forward seeing it as tho they wrap up right before the NBA season now. Which was a really smart move, My daughter and I try to get out to a Mercury game or two a year.

athleticalchemy

Loon is in the inner circle tho! Right? Has Kerr given a longer leash to a less talented player in his time here? But I hear you, Belli would look better in those min

Anonymous

Legit yelled out loud “of-fucking-course” when Iggy hit that 3 and let his leg rock out like Klay. Shit feels scripted at this point with Andre haha

Siddhant S

Man, I’ve been meaning to subscribe to you, been loyal for nearly 4 years, happy to be here, Alch, you’re for real. Question for you: Bejilica always looked like a giraffe on D, he’s getting cooked in PNR and what’s baffling is that he’s not even looking for his 3 ball. No wonder his usage is down. Do you think we can find a real use for him in the playoffs?

Neba Jorgacevic

Pokusevski at tender age of 19, almost 20, already somewhat of a basketball nomad, his career taking him to two Serbian cities and then Greece and then OKC of NBA. He's willing to try different things out there on the court, behind the back passes and deep trees. Hopefully his frame will fill out, if he is to stay in this league!
