Roller coaster of a game, nice to have an all-time great on our team that steps up in the big moments.

Anonymous

will this be on youtube?

Connor H

“Vince Vaughn’s biracial son” 😂😂 no mames guey

Anonymous

I have to eat crow, I didn't think the Warriors would find their identity. Poole, Wiggins and Looney deserve alot of credit for playing well while Steph have more of his "B" games.

Anonymous

I don't know about y'all but I DO NOT want to play the grizzlies again. That fourth quarter was a mess and Dillon Brooks is an absolute pest.

Anonymous

vogel and lebron caught on to nearly every ball movement type play we ran last time...it would be incredible if Kerr makes the adjustment to start Curry on-ball this time, but I haven't seen these kinds of game-time (or as you say, "coachy coach") decisions from Kerr before. what do you think?

Hungry Chef >>> Washed kang.

Anonymous

Seeing steph hype like that had me hype too, yelling at my tv lmao

Anonymous

Agree. I bet we go down double digits early and look completely discombobulated. For us to have any chance to win we’re gonna need chef to take it personally. 2016 revenge type personal. But Bron too smart to poke the bear... he basically gave the bear some honey in his whole 2 minute spiel about how great steph’s been this year😂. Let’s hope Jared Dudley starts talking out his ass today or tomorrow.

Who is JJJ's closest comparison ? AD or Myles Turner ? Memphis run concerned me, didn't want to see that happen after what felt like us breaking-through, but i'll take it. Got to bring it to the Lakers. Mulder cheeks are probably already clenched for the match up

Anonymous

No more bobbleheads..... instead get the new raggedy Andy doll, throw him around all you want, now with a Jordan Poole face and uniform. Seriously, Warriors stealing a backdoor page from the Pete Carril's Princeton offense, me like.

Julian

Loon always been good though. Not amazing, but contributes and has high IQ

Same seem to be the case in 2019. Dray looked drained and age then the playoffs came and he looked like a top 20 player in those playoffs. I been on record of what the contract will probably look like down the road, but if this is how Draymond is going to play when it matters, he may retire in a warriors uniform, and hopefully with 4 or more rings. I truly hope I've been wrong, and this new willingness to score from our powerfoward is here to stay.

Anonymous

I genuinely thought Memphis was going steal that one. So was relieved we managed to claw it back and pull away in the end. Injuries to Bronn and AD is about our only chance against the Lakers I think. Wiggins would have to go off for on his rare 30+ games too. I tend to agree I think the coaching advantage will be as decisive as anything in that game, As for the MVP I'm as big a Steph fan as you are likely to find but it still seems like its the Jokers year. He hasn't got the media hype as much as Steph but he's been doing dragging his team along every bit as much as Steph and doing it all year long. Hasn't missed a single game. One thing guaranteed though I think the voting is likely to be more fractured than ever so many different players have put themselves in the conversation this year.

Ezra Abbey

its easy to forget but dray really is one of the best players in the league come playoff time, i feel bad for doubting him but it was only natural

Anonymous

I gotta pick your brain on this. With these contenders getting bigger and more athletic, do you see a healthy klay being enough to get back to the promise land? I’m disregarding the picks because you just never know

Anonymous

Loser of 7/8 plays winner of 9/10. So if they lose to the Lakers, they still have a shot.

Anonymous

It seems like ever since the first CP3 Rockets series, the Warriors have adapted the approach of starting off slow in big games in hopes of the opponent wearing down, then turning on the gears in the 2nd half. There’s a good chance they see MEM again on Friday, so hopes to them having a better start after getting a feel for them and how they play. I would love to see the Warriors upset the Lakers as much as anybody, but it’s tough to see how they can produce an efficient enough offense with Looney on the floor and Lebron scouting every off ball action that they run. Lebron teams do the most when it comes to completely ignoring non offensive threats on the team (Looney, sometimes Draymond) that idk where all the points will come from. Maybe Lebron and AD don’t look good right away and that’s our chance.

David A.

Poole getting the rebound after his own miss on a 3. Immediately previous to that, Poole successfully contested Morant two possessions in a row. I mean...

Natto Santo

I think this year Chef went to next level. Now it is like we can just throw him the ball and everyone, just get out of the way, let chef go one on one. 8 out of 10 times, it will be buckets. It takes a lot of energy but Chef seems to have it for the whole game. Sometimes less off ball running will help preserve his energy to go 1 on 1. Chef just needs to continue to make nice picks from time to time, and go 1on 1.

athleticalchemy

yeah Im not mad at Jok getting it... but it just dawned on me watching that clip of him pulling up the shirt everywhere its a real possibility now.. there seems to be alot more to it than just being deserving of it

Anonymous

I mentioned on twitter how this squad reminds me of the 2001 76ers when AI won MVP.... well we got david vs goliath coming up. Steph already channeled his inner Baron Davis... Can he channel his inner Allen Iverson and go into staples and steal one???

Natto Santo

Draymond is now a offensive threat again. His FT% is now over 80%. I bet his 3 pt% will improve soon as well. Poole is getting good at both ends, but he need to protect himself for some falls. Meanwhile, Mulder disappears as expected. JTA will get exposed when he faces Lakers, he is just not big enough. We need Wiggins to perform both ends. It is a shame we don't have Kelly now. He will help us on defensive end. - All in all, Chef will go bonkers and drops 50, but we will give the same point up from defensive ends. It will depends on how many force turnovers we can get and how to minimize our own TOs.

Anonymous

I think steph likes to wear the defender down...That backfired in the toronto finals lol...vanvleet was just behind steph in terms of miles covered per game in the regular season and playoffs....he could keep up with him...

Anonymous

That was a fun game. Warriors v Lakers is going to be sick. Let's Go!

Anonymous

Mane shout out to every dubs fans its been a rollercoaster of a season but ayy we made it to the play in tournament and we possibly looking to cause to havoc in the play offs.. Poole and JTA literally give me goosebumps every time they out there its like you seen these dudes grow infront of your very eyes! No cap, and they wear that dubs jersey with pride you can tell! Not the saying the others don't but damn im proud of them two.. Alot of positives to take from this season going to off season, and next season finna be exciting!!!!

Russ

Love that u now are thinking Steph has a chance. He is on a higher profile team, is a much more high profile player and a lot of the media have been saying Steph is the best player in the NBA this year. It matters some anyway. Joker deserves it as well, but at least Steph playing like this has finished the year strong while Joker has just been steady good. It's hard to argue against either one really, they both deserve it. If Joker was on a big city team, he'd get it but he isn't..Looney and Dray r going to be fighting for their lives in the paint next game.

Anonymous

Yes! Poole MIP? The earlier struggles are paying off... These last few wins have been straight goosebumps. If we beat the lakers its a hardwood classic. Dont want to see memphis in a rematch.

Anonymous

Alch just casually dropped that Steph will win the MVP. You heard it here folks. I actually think it might happen. The nuggets are the 3 seed and only 8 games in front of the warriors. It just might happen!

athleticalchemy

It was looking real rough at times..but like you said it has come together to the point where I think everyone has to be excited whenever the offseason begins

athleticalchemy

Thing is, back then they always had the talent advantage to fall back on. Lakers jump out 15 And it’s a wrap

Anonymous

5-10 years from now, when people think back to this season, they will remember two things. All the injures that hurt the league and Steph Curry that brought it back to relevance. Steph will stand out. Not the Joker or CP3 or any other MVP candidate. It’s Steph’s year. Now I wish Kerr was “chasing wins” because if the warriors had 3-5 more wins, they would be the 5-3 seed in the West and he’d most likely have another unanimous MVP season again. Just 3-5 wins will knock him out of the MVP award? 5 wins separate the Nuggets and Warriors. Wow. I hope he gets it.

Anonymous

I caught that Kris Kross reference Alc, good one lol

Anonymous

Alc you Misspoke - you said Lakers-Dubs Single Game Elimination Wed. It's Not. 7-8 seeds get two-to-make-one. Whoever loses plays winner of 9-10.

Anonymous

You mention Kerr will have to realize relocation buckets aren't gonna work against the Lakers and realize it BEFORE the 3rd quarter. We both know that's not gonna happen - Kerr can't adjust to shit. Especially quickly. How would he adjust anyway? It's up to Steph to recognize when it's not working and try to get to the rim. And with the LA bigs, that's a long shot. Gonna be a tough night no matter how you cut it. Only hope is Bron's ankle keeps him ineffective, and AD has an off night. I'm rooting hard for San Antonio!

Nathan Glanzer

Vince Vaughn comment had me rollin' . I thought the same thing hahaha.

Julian

Alch, Jokic is winning his 1st MVP, it's practically sealed. They looked at 14 people who stated their voting picks, and all 14 had Jokic as #1. Giannis, Steph dominated the #2 at equal value. The only thing I don't want is Jokic getting a UMVP, his season is nowhere near that good.

Strong Foru

I'm on vacation in the Caribbean and this ish has me more excited than going to the beach and drinking margaritas all day! Let's go WARRIORS!

Jimmy Ji

I just listened to today's pod on the matchup between Warriors vs. Lakers. Lebron isn't 100% and it looked like he tweaked his ankle in their last game against NO. Why not attack Lebron as the primary on-ball defender? Let's see how his ankle reacts to lateral movements and make him defend our best ball handlers like Steph and Jordan Poole. We will need to play a more traditional offense to have success because Lebron will feast if he is allowed to roam as a defender. A lot of pick-n-roll, dribble drives, collapse the defense, kick out to open shooters or seek contact at the rim. The Lakers are also a terrible 3-point shooting team so any victory would require the Warriors to have an advantage on that end.

athleticalchemy

I don’t know exactly what it looks like from your end. But it should be connected to your account in your settings. I believe you have to allow Patreon access to link your discord account. Then it should show up

Anonymous

I definetly don’t know how to do it, can you post the link here so we can just copy and paste it?

Anonymous

do you think turnovers cost us this game, or those sloppy calls that didn't recognize flops towards the end? we were tie game with under 2 min to play *even with* our sloppy ball handling in the 3rd q, but I really thought inconsistency from the refs (possibly to make sure Bron makes the playoffs) cost us this game towards the end..I really don't say that lightly lol, I'm never usually one to blame the refs for the L
