“when do you see someone put looney on his butt like that” *traumatizing flashback of the 2019 finals*

Anonymous

It was bugging me who Sabonis reminds me of...and it finally hit me: Jimmy Pesto Jr. from Bob's Burgers. EDIT: "Don't tell me not to dance Dad!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47rkiwM1cGU 10:32 Was that a moving screen by Sabonis when D.Lee flopped?

I can’t be the only dude getting tired of Kerr when he’s just sitting on the bench😂

Anonymous

Oh my Lord that TJ McConnell and Draymond "game recognizing game" bit... 😂😂😂

Anonymous

Myles Turner is the real emotional lesbian 🤣

Anonymous

Hopefully we see more Juan T. I know he may get lost in the rotation with the squad getting somewhat healthy again but I believe he’s earned himself at least 8-10 minutes a game full strength.

Major Powers

Same. I'm always wolfing down a sandwich and mumble-laughing at Alch's jokes.

Eeeeeyyy lets gooooo!!!! Im loving the daily content alch the hezi is fireee! Thank you for shouting out my boy Campazzo 🇦🇷🇦🇷!! . Just imagine if Dray was some kind of an offensive threat, i think the offense would be on a whooole different level, but never mind this year playoff run which i dont know why im optimist about it, next year if we can keep this roster, Wisemann grows, one of our rookie guards takes on the trolls minutes, and you know who comes back... scary times man! The league should watch out bc its gonna be the splash bros revenge tour! . I think we get on a nice winning run, i have us beating the horneta and who knows lakers aint looking really well.

Anonymous

yo that comment about Patrick Beverly sleeping under a freeway was funny as fuck 🤣 At this point I'm more paying attention to games to see Wiseman's development than anything else. We always need a big man in the paint but you're right that we need to let him hang at the perimeter every now and then; it will make him more versatile in transition and just that much harder to guard.

Anonymous

McConnell, Ive never seen a white NBA point guard with such a horrendous Shot, he's shooting like 38% from the line. Maybe Plumlee but we now he walk around with a durag in his free time 🤣. Nah JK, he is pesky as hell, and taller than u think, he's perfect for that Wanamaker role, great defender, effort guy, doesn't need much time to have an impact, and he's you primary PG for the second unit. Damn

Anonymous

Lol ESPN used Aaron Holiday's picture for Justin in the starting lineup graphic. If the Looney/Dray combo starts to cause problems for Steph's spacing, could we see a return to Wiseman in the starting lineup sooner than later? Saw the debate over his nickname, I'd like to throw out Jams Wiseman, or if he starts consistently hitting 3/4 threes a game then we can call him the 3 Wiseman. Just a thought lol Any way we can pick up GR3? Just saw that we guaranteed Mulder's contract, but could we still waive him/buy him out? GR3 (like DLee and Baze) is great from 3pt range but can actually drive and defend effectively

Ezra Abbey

Wiseman looked the best he's looked so far defensively, he was making nice reads, switching, playing our scheme and closing out well, interesting that this seems to have come from his time off, must've been watching film.

Nice win... but I have to say the way dub nation media fawns over Draymond is almost sickening. "draymond is elite, he won the game, winning player"... so on and so on. We love Dray but let's evaluate him properly. That was a team win. Everybody made plays and played good enough. To just single out dray and credit it him is just malarkey. That type of false praise might be the reason he doesn't fix his attitude or work on his game offensively. He's not being guarded. Curry is regularly facing double and triple teams running around like it's dad vs kids in the backyard and draymond is helpless standing around being ignored. We appreciate Kerr going to bat for his players but let's be honest if draymond really impacts winning nearly as much as any other superstar in the NBA we wouldn't be sitting as the 8th seed. **One more thing... dray is great defensively but the brother is not Rudy Gobert. Rudy is constantly taking away sure fire points from the other team. Not sure I can say the same about Dray. He's a great system defender and a system player. That's about it.

“Sloppier than Karen at a Christmas party” 😂😂😂

Russ

McConnell did look good, I want to c Nico copy his game some and Niko can shoot. "Sloppier than Karen at a Xmas party" Alc I laughed so hard at that I had to pause the tape and rewind. PBev sleep habits as well. And I'm hoping James doesn't turn into a Myles Turner clone, that's his very lowest future, I just wish he wouldn't accept being boxed out, it's so common for guys like him that they have never had to get around people for boards before. But I'll be patient and wait.. In the meantime that 3 was great to c. I think he is confident he can shoot and that's worth a lot. Expect every pass is coming your way, grab every ball like it's your last play on earth. -- I'll add this, I had a big for a team mate in college and sometimes he would want the ball and wouldn't get it so the coach told him to just take it out on anyone who would try to keep him from any ball that came off the board. He would become a monster on the glass just to show us how pissed he was that we weren't feeding him the ball. Coach was a genius.

OK, the spiderman meme is what got me. Damn, that was spot on.

Abhi Kelkar

Glad Kerr has instilled defense as the priority this year. Pays off in games like this and the team doesn't get enamored with utilizing their athleticism

Jansen E

My mom hates Patrick Beverley and always says he looks so dirty (which he does). Last night I pointed out that McConnell is basically Beverley if he were white and was in a college frat lol. The sleeping under a freeway thing way hella funny and Im sure she'll get a laugh out of that when I show this to her! Funny how the conversation surrounding Oubre for Warriors fans right now is "Can we afford him???" when like a month ago it was "send this dude to the g-league". Not only has he actually become quite a reliable bucket, his team defense has ever-so-slightly improved!! I saw him help multiple times. And yeah his split positioning in passing lanes needs work, but so far he's been great. Bob and Azubuike talked so much about that Steph 25 pts thing so much....it literally pissed me off that Steph didnt get 25 and it just had to be the commentators curse lol. Nevertheless, thats two revenge games. Can we please go for 3 in a row please???? That would be really nice.

Natto Santo

To solve Looney/Dray combo, Looney needs to shoot the 3 pointers. He is 40% this year on paper. He just needs to be encourage to shoot the wide open 3s

Anonymous

I really enjoyed Unc saying "Anime Cartoon" lol

Anonymous

People around u can say all they want, if you don't feel comfortable taking that shot then it's a lost cause. The frase shooters shoot, it's not just he can shoot, it's a mentality, u see it in the off season every NBA player can hit a bunch of threes in practice, the edge to make u a shooter is mentally

Anonymous

I hope for a blow out soon, then I just want to see draymond hoist like 15 threes, just say fuck it. I just think back to all these game 7 thress in 2016. He just needs to take the oubre route, make ur shot and then blow kisses, talk smack, celebrate like it's a game winner. Give Urself extra insensitive

Anonymous

I mean hell, there will always be a ton of fanboys or haters for any particular player or team. At least here on Patreon, we can minimize those hot takes without the context.

Anonymous

I hope its evident. Wiseman hands are worse bridge-troll's lay-ups. Wiseman has so many things he needs to learn. He is not a dog on defense. He doesn't desire rebounds. His basketball IQ is low. He doesn't know how to pass. He's not vicious and doesn't to use his size and get to the basket. There is more than this, but one thing is obvious. The Warriors brain trust doesnt have great eye for talent, (like maybe the Jazz). And if there are those of us that think that they do because they got Curry, Thompson, etc, that was all Jerry West. LeMelo was the right choice. He has game, all he needs to be great is to improve his game. Wiseman has no game, he still has to learn his game; but does he desire this, like he desires rebounds? If so Warriors fans have some sadness coming. I heard Garnett wants to work with Wiseman. My God, I hope so. I hope Garnett can light a fire under his ass. ... all right, peace and love, go warriors, stuff like that

Anonymous

Anyone else worried how much the Wolves are losing this year? lol. Idk how deep the 2022 class is but I think we're going to need a 2021 lottery pick just for the time sake of stephs prime

Anonymous

We want them to lose that much. The lottery works very different now, the worst 3 teams have the exact same odds for a top 4 pick about 50% the 4th Worst has about 45% and the 5th About 40%. But the thing is if the worst team does not get into the top 4 it's guaranteed the 5th Pick, the second worst the 6th Pick, the third worst the 7th pick and so on. That's why we want them to be last, they then have nearly the same odds to go into the top 4 as the other bad teams, but If they don't we guaranteed the 5th pick. Makes sense? Just imagine the 4th pick like the drop off line every team has their decreasing chance for a top 4 pick depending on the record, and after that the spots 5-14 are depending on the record for the teams that didn't get into the top 4.

Anonymous

The fact that Steph has become a plus defender and you can't just look for switches or iso on him makes me truly believe that if and when Klay comes back, we getting another Chip with a Defensive Team

Anonymous

I don't think your paying good attention to the game.. we needed a big man and James was the best of the bunch. That simple. Go watch his mixtape from high-school, you got to remember he is a kid, and doesn't have to much experience yet. You can teach lobs. He is much better defensively than the beginning of the year. It's gonna take much more than 20 games to see a drastic improvement bro. Just be patient. He is a rookie.

Anonymous

I'm definitely worried about Wiseman. He's not the stronger presence inside that I wanted and thought he would be. He can't move anyone, can't box out, is slow to react. Ugh. I know I'm being impatient and he's really young, but his movements are concerning

Anonymous

Wiseman is such a student of the game, you love to see it

John Z

Steph gets the reputation as a pesky defender, hopefully teams stop targeting him so much.

Anonymous

I am so hyped about EP getting what's his during the 4th, almost seemed like he was dominating the game. I noticed 3 things about him: 1. He was closing the game, pretty dope for a 2nd year player. 2. STEPH & EP P&R!!! Opened up alll sorts of space because EP can actually score and as you said developed the ability to pass out of the roll. 3. Improved defense Combining 2 and 3 really makes me question how long Draymond has left on the team as a plus. I love Dray and what he has helped the team accomplish but his complete lack of offensive threat most nights is not sustainable. As you've pointed out, sure he might make the right pass and get an assit for Steph to score, but that's still putting the burden on Steph; he could certainly aim for at least 10 a game. Though I suppose you can say the same about Looney's lack of offense; okay I'm rambling here.

athleticalchemy

That was tough to just throw him in there late for a few.. I skipped his mishaps because of that. If EP is running Point forward I don’t see why he can’t take some Brad min

athleticalchemy

Can’t help but like Campazzo to much spirit! For him to have that impact at his size got to salute that.. I see a lil Marcus Smart to his game as well. Love to run off a few before the break, hornets might be tougher than LA right now

athleticalchemy

You imagine they ain’t letting him go.. it was just the fit in Philadelphia with so many none shooters at the time

athleticalchemy

I doubt we see him start unless it’s out of necessity. I think Baze and JTA have been too good to pick him up tbh

athleticalchemy

You nailed it “ expect every pass is coming your way” would go along way with the hands issue

Anonymous

Fantastic breakdown much appreciated as I didn't get a chance to watch this one.

Anonymous

This team is really starting to gell offensively, defending just seems so natural to this group. It feels like the opposite of the dynasty a little, that group the offense was so natural but they had to focus and put effort into being good defensively, this team the defense is the side that is coming so naturally and offense is the thing that doesn't look natural

John Pettus

The best $2 I've ever spent on anything that wasn't a condom.

Anonymous

Why can't they make Wiseman shoot 3s instead of having him in the post all the time? Like this shit is not rocket science. If they have him in the post it just results in turnovers and forced lobs. Wiseman can decide for himself when he wants one depending on the mismatch. If we put him there all the time the offense revolves too much around him. Same shit happened with KD always being in the post in 2019 and it felt like he dominated the ball the longest, which probably contributed to Draymond's saltiness as he would get less passing opportunities.

Anonymous

I had back up PG envy last night. Hoping that Nico M. can become the pesky back up PG that McConnell is.

Anonymous

McConnell is a template for what Mannion's play/role could be.

Anonymous

I dig it. Those boys are getting better all the time. I feel like at this rate I like our guys enough to not want to make moves unless bridge troll or loon is in the deal. Everyone else is cool with me rn

Anonymous

"Sloppier than Karen at a Christmas party" low-key hardest line of February

Anonymous

Mannion is way more skilled than McConnell. Prior to his destructive stint in Arizona, he was trending as a lotto pick. I think Mannion could be a Fred VanVleet type in a few years.

Jerry Heverly

Frustrating that there isn't a place in the regular rotation for jta. And what becomes of Poole when the G League ends? He is a dynamic scorer but his turnovers will drive Kerr crazy. It looks like Jeremy Lin won't hold up physically so he is probably out; Mannion seems an upgrade over Wannamaker. I can't believe Myers isn't thinking about trading somebody.

Anonymous

Tyler, I can see why you'd say Wiseman is weak, but I would lay it more on his simple youth than his lack of heart. Some guys come in with swaggar like Kobe or Steph, but most have to grow into it. It helps if you've played pro ball overseas, like LeMolo. Finally, if he isn't a Dawg, I'd argue that it's more because he's not being allowed to be - and that's on Kerr. He's determined to make a Big fit into a Small System, and I think that's a mistake, and what's at the heart of Wiseman's clunky performance. I almost wish he did get traded - for HIS sake. Confidence is a touchy thing to build. On a team that would be all in on him as their future, he might be more secure and have more playing time to man up fast. On the Dubs, there's always gonna be this debate and that alone can hurt confidence. I don't think James lacks swagger, he's just humble, and at this point that's good. How he steps up depends a lot on how much he's allowed to.

Anonymous

Yup lol he is only 19 going prep to pro & averaging 12 ppg in 20 mins almost accidentally. He has to get stronger in his core which i believe he will this has been a weird year for rookies Lamelo was having the same problems until he became a starter. Kerr hopefully will let him grow this is really the best year to do it but part of kerr’s problem is his attachment to his system & certain players ie looney, brad wannamake it but he doesn’t have a long list of developing players

Anonymous

Haha Screaming at the tv like...Do something man!!!! Our offense suck!!!!

Anonymous

I wholeheartedly agree, on the offensive side of the ball Mannion has potential to be as effective as VanVleet, as quick and has deep range on his 3. Watching Mannion play in the bubble I was surprised by how fast he was up/down the floor, chasing down every loose ball, applying pressure/getting steals and in that way he is very disruptive on the defensive side of the ball, like T.J. I think with each player the Warriors add to the mix that it would be wise for them to consider the question "how does this player fit in pushing our new identity as a defensive team forward"? I am a 100% believer that Mannion will be a disruptive defender that will be able to pressure the ball all over the court, he is the only player in Santa Cruz that actually tries hard to fight over ever pick and small abilities like that will matter. Mannion 12 assists/0 turnovers in his last game.

Anonymous

JP has a negative assists to turnover ratio in G-League, he is making a volume scoring effort (get my own) which is the opposite of how he played in his limited minutes as a faux point last spring after his first g-league call up. Don't get me wrong JP does have the vision to be a good passer, he showed that last year, but the mentality to take care of the ball, jury is out and he's not helping his skills with his style of play in Santa Cruz/bubble. On the other hand, Mannion 12 assists/0 turnovers in his last game.

Anonymous

Kent bazemore a real plus off the bench for the dubs its certified now, them corner 3's dropping with too much sauce.. EP bullying cats around as per usual and he kinda seems to enjoy it too 🤧 dray slowly but surely regaining his swagga and overall we did good in this road trip! Hopefully we grab a W tonight versus Charlotte which would set us up nicely for the upcoming road trip.. Oh and i think kerr should still find a place in the rotation for JTA I'd have him over looney personally..

Anonymous

Woah how did I not see that TJ McConnell is white pat bev?... loved that
