Thanks Alch! been waiting for this vid to drop

Draymond getting to the paint was such a welcome sight. I feel like he can keep doing this all season...it'll be interesting to see if he can keep up this offensive streak. Wiggs is a monster! Really great defensive effort all around, with very few stupid fouls. It looked like Oubre was still reaching in quite a bit, but didn't get called for it. Alch, at 2:40 in the video, where you point out Wiseman's inability to guard the PnR, where should he have been? I always like it when you're showing arrows of where someone SHOULD be, makes me feel like I'm learning how to play the game properly.

I just saw that the warriors looking to trade Oubrie????/ I like him I think with another 20 games that the warriors will be okay

i can’t get over how many times we have bent the T-wolves over over the years. Minnesota passed on steph twice for Flynn and Rubio. Chose Derrick Williams over Klay or any number of players in 2011. Minny gave us Wiggins for Dlo and low and behold hen a player leaves the losingest franchise in NBA history he becomes good. They passed on Wiseman for Edwards. And they gave us the likely 4th or 5th pick in the best draft in decade in addition to Wiggins. 2 years from now it’s gonna be even more embarrassing for the Wolves and how they’re linked to us in such a negative way.

Anonymous

Dubs didn't play well, maybe that was understandable considering the dumpster fire that Minnesota is but Wiggins played well, played hard, did lots of unglamorous work. I live far away so I always have to watch online and on this night I had the Minnesota feed and the announcers (former Warrior Jim Peterson did the color) were so complimentary of Wiggins and in a nice way. Wiggins is such a nice story I'm a genuinely happy for him and "us". Nice job with what you have to work with Alchemy. Appreciated.

Anonymous

I think keeping the staring lineup unpredictable and just matching up the best with our opponent for that night will be best for the team makes us more unpredictable

Branden Edwards

Keep grinding Alch. Great work

You roast at least one mf every video😂😂😂😂

Kerr should be firing these guys up to go 4-0 for the week... get them in the headspace that we started down 3-0 in a 7 game series starting last night, cause they need to win all of these heading into next week's tougher matchups. Even though they'll continue to grow as a team throughout all 72 games, the record officially matters at this stage, and every winnable game should be viewed as a must-win. I think Wiggins will have even more juice going up against his former team if DLo, the "better overall player" (lol bullshit), is on the court. TWolves are such a sorry franchise... seem to be making the wrong move every step of the way. At least this stint as head coach will look great on Saunders' resume once he graduates from high school.

athleticalchemy

I’ll do so more detailed stuff on that it is very nuanced. But he doesn’t have to be completely in front of the ball handler. Just enough so they can’t straight line drive and he can get back or eventually commit to challenging the ball handler.

Anonymous

It’s funny how the politics and economics of basketball work sometimes...loved the effort & performance by Wiggins. Great breakdown as always Alch ✊🏻

athleticalchemy

I honestly feel bad for fan base tho.. like man! I think they have F’d up more things than any FO kings NY ..

athleticalchemy

Agreed Nurse did it all the way to a ring so people can’t booboo on it like I have seen in the past where it was kinda taboo

Anonymous

Yall hear Azubuike react when Marquese chriss mentioned enes kanter lmao

Anonymous

I can't wait to watch Wiggins play with both Steph and Klay and please could we never have to hear another Andrew Wiggins to _______ for ______ again?

Anonymous

Thoughts on Ball/Oubre trade rumors?

Anonymous

Lmao, I spit out my water at the Nico and DLee jokes!

Anonymous

A win is a win and I won’t complain about that. I do wonder if Kerr is going keep that line up or change the starting line up depending on the other teams big. Because as much as Looney did a good job last night. But like Alch said I don’t know if it would have been a good match up if Kat or any legit Big was out there.

Anonymous

Bob Myers does the birdman handrub when he sees Oubre playing well...

Paul Hanson

I'm loving happy, productive, smiling Andrew Wiggins. I have enjoyed his defense a lot as it always leads to good offense for him and everyone on the Dubs.

Russ

What is it with Kelly? He started the year all swag, then he switched that off and became a better player. I actually like the guy now, granted team defense confuses him, hopefully that gets better but I like that he's really the only guy on the team that naturally tries to get O boards. It's starting to drive me nuts how our entire team retreats as soon as a shot goes up, just because Steph understandably shoots and retreats from distance doesn't mean the whole damn team has got to do it! Notice how Kelly almost looks out of place when he goes in there, like hey we r the Warriors, we don't do that.

Anonymous

Can't really judge anything against this garbage Wolves team. They almost let them back in it until Steph saved the day. Man, that Chriss injury REALLY hurt them, badly. He would be so valuable on this squad right now.

Anonymous

Great video, as always, Alch. Quick question: Can the lineup change also be due to Draymond being a bit too vocal with Wiseman recently and Kerr wants both to cool off a little?

Ezra Abbey

draymond was moving better than he has a while, was good to see. I think he's finally getting his leg/lungs back.

Anonymous

The Wolves are garbage right now, and you know if we played the Clippers or Denver or Celtics etc .. the way we played last night we get bounced.

Anonymous

Yall are subscribed for the analysis? Im here for the jokes 😂😂

Anonymous

I think it was a lot of wasted energy early on...working hard not smart. Sometimes it feel like he's only looking for put-backs because occasionally I'll catch him just watching the shot.

Anonymous

Man the jokes had me dying on this one hahaha 🤣

Anonymous

I am so confused with the Oubre Lonzo rumors. The Pels would be stupid to let us get Lonzo, let alone adding Hart for contract matching purposes. We will see what's going to happen, but I doubt the Pels are serious about getting Oubre

Anonymous

As for the game, was gonna cuss out Steph and Dray for most of their effort up until the 4th quarter. They were both drunk until Larsa's side piece wanted to say Boom 😂

Anonymous

Alc, you tell me if you also see this.... Steph’s sloppy passing comes from him already thinking to move without the ball, while he is still in possession of it. You see him thinking 2 plays ahead and forgets the most important thing is to deliver that first pass securely

Anonymous

Alch - Need your take on the trade rumor today!

Anonymous

There would mostly likely be some sort of draft equity going towards New Orleans as the insensitive for the trade.

Anonymous

Alch..youre spot on pointing out the timing with wiseman. For the life of me i just wasnt understanding that the guy jumps too early. Nice to see him spin with the drop step a couple times these past two games. Im good with lonzo but who can we get for looney? lol?

Russ

No shit I noticed that, after Steph dumped a couple of bombs to close out their chances he started yelling Boom as well. Payback is a Bitch

Anonymous

steps passes give me anxiety lol

Anonymous

Because the trade rumors have been mentioned... Not vibing with the Oubre trade. Zo doesn't have the heart that Oubre has and Kelly's only gonna get better as we have started to see.

Anonymous

Ball, Hart & Alexander-Walker for Oubre, Wanamaker & Poole! Would that work? Would the Pelicans trade 2 of their more talented young players? I don’t know shit about the mechanics of trading players. I’m sure there are some weird salary issues but that seems like an A+ upgrade for GSW

Anonymous

yea you right most of those turn overs are him passing the ball with one hand and already turning around ready to run

Anonymous

I understand the DLO hate Alc but he's quietly been really efficient offensively this year

Anonymous

I agree- I think it is weird to trade a guy while its clear he is struggling. I mean this last month has probably been the worse month of basketball oubre has played since the first half of his rookie season.

Anonymous

I almost think it benefits the teams more to just get everyone on the roster sick with covid at the same time. That way they can just reschedule the games and dont need to take the L. Some players might be afraid of covid- but id be far more afraid of a big injury happening on the court than covid being a disaster for them.

Anonymous

Lonzo is a worse shooter than Oubre in a vacuum. Honestly Oubre's form is good, I think his misses are usually rhythmic issues. We also can't have Lonzo out taking free throws either. Nor can we have him out there with Draymond and another center who can't shoot. Oubre is too good against the Clippers and Lakers from what I've seen, who we will inevitably face if we reach the playoffs. His passing and shot selection has gotten better too.

athleticalchemy

That’s an amazing point thats never dawned on me! But now that you say it I can see it in my head over and over throughout the years.

Jansen E

I agree that Mulder is trash and theres no argument for him to stay on the roster. His shooting is too inconsistent to keep him on the floor offensively and as we've all seen, his defense is nonexistent. The fact that he wasnt able to dunk that home was pathetic. How you gonna brag about your 40+ inch vert but not be able to throw it down with a full head of steam? Bruhhhhh. Anyway, the game was ugly. The only won cuz Steph gave barely enough of a shit to keep scoring. The sloppy passes and lack of fight were pretty disappointing. Looney.....goddamn. You know what would be perfect? If we were able to take Looney's brain and put it in Wiseman's body, and also keep Wiseman's aggression/mentality towards offense, he'd be the perfect player for the Warriors. I'm hoping Wiseman can quickly learn what Looney does that makes Kerr slobber all over him all the time. I would really hate to see us squander Wiseman just cuz Kerr cant get over himself to TEACH him to be as smart of a player as Looney. But I dont give a crap how smart or subtley nuanced Looney is. The dude just BARELY cuts it in this system. Any other team in the NBA and he's a third string dude. The only reason he's getting minutes is cuz Chriss is out and Wiseman is 19. I'm quite worried the Warriors might give tomorrows game away, whether due to some bullshit by the refs, or continued sloppy play.

athleticalchemy

I think that’s why the hands look so shaky too. Only way to get better is minutes. Can’t watch tape on timing

Anonymous

Yeah man. I just realized this the other day when he did it TWICE against the Spurs and DeJounte Murray. He’s so eager to be off-ball and running around screens, he’s wayyy too nonchalant with the ball

Anonymous

Yeah I just feel bad for Kat, cant catch a break he's only played 4 games so far this season

Jerry Heverly

This should definitely not be about winning this season. Every decision should be focused on April 2022........You aren't holding Steph to a higher standard, his unforced errors are infuriating, but he always seems to redeem himself......Mulder, alas, isn't quite good enough. Bring on Jeremy Lin..........Drop any four players you don't like (Mulder, Wannamaker, Bazemore, Looney?); replace with Chriss, Klay, Jessup, and next year's first round pick. Now you are bidding for a title, in 2022.

Anonymous

Abraham thats amazing thinking right there. I have never, ever thought of it that way. Alch, please bring it up at some point and make sure to credit Abraham

Anonymous

I've always wondered why everyone harps on Steph's sloppy passes and not Draymond's, when he has at least a few legitimately terrible passes per game. I think now it's because Steph saves so many of Draymond's sloppy passes - I saw it a few times in this game. For example, the 3 that put Steph over Reggie Miller in the Jazz game: Draymond threw a overly fast, inaccurate pass at Steph but he was able to catch it and save it from going out of bounds before he shot the 3. Just something I've noticed since nobody ever talks about Draymond's turnovers.
