As turmoil brewed on the South American continent, where the Vehicons of the Skytiger Legion launched large-scale attacks, it seemed that a civil war among the Decepticons was about to unfold.

Within the New Iron Fortress city, Sentinel Prime, the leader of the Autobots, gazed at the intelligence reports his subordinates had gathered, wearing only a cold, sardonic smile.

"Megatron is pushing me to act swiftly!" he remarked.

Rather than merely a leader, he was more akin to an emperor. Sentinel Prime had endured numerous challenges, from vying for power and influence with noble elders during the Council of Primes era to deadly clashes with Decepticons like Megatron during the Civil War.

His extensive experiences allowed him to see through the hidden motives behind the Vehicons of the Skytiger Legion and their attacks on South America, led by a rebellious Decepticon named Frenzy.

However, knowing was one thing, and Sentinel Prime had no intention of getting involved.

Perhaps his naive student, Optimus Prime, believed that there were good and bad Decepticons, but in Sentinel Prime's eyes, all Decepticons were the same: driven by greed, violence, and decay. They deserved to be turned into nourishment for their homeworld.

So, letting them fight to the death, with neither side emerging victorious, was the best outcome in his view.

Unfortunately...

A heavy footstep echoed in the chamber that had been converted into Sentinel Prime's quarters.

Without raising his head, he already knew who had arrived.

"Sneak, have you located my naive student?" he inquired.

The newcomer was Prowl—or more precisely, Sneak, awakened once again by Sentinel Prime. After Gold Beetle had chosen to follow Optimus Prime and left, Sentinel Prime needed a trusted agent to rebuild the Autobot intelligence network.

As a formidable leader, he naturally retained control of the core memory data of Sneak, his former intelligence officer. Utilizing this data, with the assistance of the Autobot great scientist Jack, Sentinel Prime had reawakened this former intelligence officer shortly after their departure. He had been renamed from "Sneak" to signify a deeper meaning.

Eager for this former intelligence officer to become his most loyal and sharpest tool once again, Sentinel Prime had him kneel before him.

Sneak lowered his head and reported in a cold, emotionless tone, "Your Majesty, my intelligence team has been tracking Sideswipe and Drift. They have been traced to the forested region of West Africa. Without a doubt, Optimus Prime and his followers are likely hiding there!"

Upon hearing the name Optimus Prime, a hint of annoyance flickered in Sentinel Prime's eyes. He felt not only guilt but also a profound resentment toward his student. As the great king of Primus, Sentinel Prime was born with nobility, which led him to initially disdain the Autobots and their pursuit of peace. Even when he had reluctantly embraced their ideals of republicanism and equality to counter the rebellious Megatron, he still looked down upon the Autobots. His student, Optimus Prime, only fueled his displeasure.

Immediately after his awakening, Sentinel Prime had launched an investigation into the various factions on Earth, all part of his plan to achieve his own goals.

And it was this investigation that had completely unleashed Sentinel Prime's discontent and anger towards Optimus Prime.

"Even Decepticon scum like Frenzy, upon arriving on Earth, can quickly adapt and swiftly seize an entire continent, establishing a formidable presence and rising to power... my good student, the Autobot Leader," he muttered with disdain.

This dissatisfaction, combined with his realization that even if he resisted with all his might, the war's outcome was clear and could persist for centuries, led Sentinel Prime to reluctantly relinquish the Autobot leadership to his student during the later stages of the Civil War.

In the past, during the Council of Primes era, he had been treated as a plaything by the Cybertronian nobility, enduring countless humiliations, which had warped his personality.

Sentinel Prime harbored a near-obsessive, pathological desire for power, driven by his aversion to sharing it with others. He had set a trap to force his student, Optimus Prime, into self-exile.

Originally, Sentinel Prime had not intended to deal with Optimus Prime so soon. He believed that while his former students might not make suitable Leaders, they could be dutiful military commanders. He had planned to retake control of the Autobots completely and then consider reappointing Optimus Prime as their military commander.

Their relationship, in his eyes, would be similar to that of Megatron and Shockwave within the Skytiger Legion.

However...

Though Sentinel Prime had anticipated that Optimus Prime's departure would result in some Autobots leaving, he had never imagined that nearly a hundred Autobots would secretly leave New Iron Fortress city in the past month.

Despite Optimus Prime's call to arms having attracted numerous Autobots from across the universe to Earth, the total number of Autobots who had arrived and joined the city had barely exceeded a thousand.

Losing nearly a tenth of the Autobots in one fell swoop, including dozens of advanced warriors and elite fighters who followed Optimus Prime, had infuriated Sentinel Prime.

Like all kings throughout Earth's history, he was exceedingly proud and prideful. He never looked for faults within himself and, when mistakes occurred, he was quick to blame others.

Sentinel Prime's current state of mind had left him increasingly unable to tolerate the betrayal of his young student and the Autobots who had chosen to follow him.

Countless sinister thoughts raced through his mind, and his regal cunning eventually led him to a decision.

"Sneak, where are Megatron's wretched underlings now?" he demanded.

Sneak lowered his head and replied, "Your Majesty, according to your agreement with the Skytiger Legion, the Decepticons have been pushed to the northern shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Southern Europe and the South Asia region!"

The frigid tone resounded once more. "Send word to them that I will launch a full-scale war soon. But as a show of good faith, let them handle Optimus Prime!"

Sneak's mechanical body trembled slightly, but he quickly lowered his head even further. "Yes, Your Majesty!"
