Within the Decepticon base, aboard the Retribution numberSpaceship.

Prowl stood several meters away from Starscream, both of them watching a holographic projection wall not far ahead.

Barricade stood apart from Prowl, his gaze brimming with murderous intent, making no effort to conceal it.

Back when they were still loyal Autobots, he, along with Jazz, Phantom, Bumblebee, and other Autobots, had their mechanical bodies modeled after Prowl's.

During the Cybertron Civil War, Sentinal Prime had placed a great emphasis on intelligence gathering. This led to his later plan to mass-produce elite Autobot agents, using mechanical bodies based on Prowl's.

For someone as proud as Barricade, being nothing more than a duplicate in someone else's plan was a crushing blow.

It was only after defecting to the Decepticon ranks that Barricade found himself harboring a deep loathing not just for Jazz, Phantom, Bumblebee, and the others he once called brothers, but particularly for Prowl.

However, he was more rational than the average Decepticon. Barricade remained loyal to Starscream and Megatron, which allowed him to learn about the agreement between Megatron and Sentinal Prime.

This knowledge was what kept Barricade from acting against Prowl. He knew that even Starscream dared not openly disrupt this agreement. If he were to sabotage the pact between Megatron and Sentinal Prime, his fate would be exceptionally grim.

Frowning as he observed the alert Optimus Prime and the Autobots on the projection wall, Prowl spoke coldly, "You've been too conspicuous, Starscream!"

As a bystander who was hidden in the shadows, he had a clear view of the situation.

The abrupt withdrawal of the Vehicons under Starscream's command, from pursuing to retreating, had aroused suspicion in Optimus Prime and the Autobots. Perhaps, at that moment, they had not yet connected the dots, suspecting only that the Decepticons might have set up some trap at the crash site of the Spaceship.

However, upon hindsight, the oddity of the situation would become evident.

Starscream dismissed Prowl's accusation with a sly grin and replied in a low, menacing voice, rendering Prowl momentarily speechless.

"Do you really think our Superior General would care if Optimus Prime discovered us?"

Prowl fell silent.

The one who knows you best is never yourself or your loved ones, but your most detested enemies.

He knew Starscream had a point. Sentinal Prime was an arrogant and ruthless leader who could betray the entire Autobot race for his own agenda. Sentinal Prime wouldn't care if Optimus Prime uncovered his agreement with Megatron. Given his character, even if Optimus Prime were his former student, if Optimus Prime stood in his way, he would not hesitate to eliminate his own student.

"Collaborating with the Decepticons is no different than striking a deal with a tiger. Our Majesty, the Superior General, is overly self-assured. Megatron may not be his equal, but he is not someone who will willingly serve another!" Prowl sighed inwardly, once again doubting Sentinal Prime's overly confident plan.

In the past, he might not have doubted Sentinal Prime. However, Prowl had been a loyal confidant to Sentinal Prime for millions of years, sacrificing himself for Sentinal Prime more than once.

Cybertron's awakening technology could indeed resurrect deceased Decepticons or Autobots, but every Decepticon or Autobot awakened in this manner was no longer the same as they once were.

Death is a profoundly mystical yet terrible experience. Even if one is revived immediately, many valiant warriors may become timid, some pacifists might question peace, and even the most serene individuals can transform into maniacs. Through several encounters with death, the once cold-hearted Prowl gradually underwent changes that he hadn't even realized himself.

Previously unwavering in his loyalty and never doubting the orders of the Superior General, Sentinal Prime, Prowl had harbored intense opposition when Sentinal Prime had initially decided to collaborate with Megatron.

After witnessing the deliberate indulgence of Sentinal Prime resulting in attacks on Autobot transport Spaceships, the fall of fortresses, and countless Autobot casualties, these events had deeply affected the present-day Prowl.

To the point that, about half a year ago, when he received a remote communication from Sentinal Prime instructing him to feign death and operate from the shadows to assist in the next phase of the plan, Prowl's first instinct was to seek out the current Autobot Leader, Optimus Prime, and provide him with detailed information about the conspiracy of his former mentor, the Superior General, to whom he had once been utterly loyal.

"It might be too late," he thought inwardly, though no emotional disturbance showed on the surface.

As he watched the Autobots approaching the crashed Spaceship on the projection wall, having already defeated the Decepticon soldiers left behind by Starscream, he knew the plan was gradually aligning with Sentinal Prime and Megatron's agreement.

Optimus Prime and his team would soon discover Sentinal Prime slumbering within the Spaceship. Even if they suspected something was amiss, they wouldn't have much time to ponder it. They would follow Sentinal Prime's plan, taking him back to Earth, where they would awaken him within their newly established Iron Fortress.

And once Sentinal Prime awakened, everything would change.

As the mightiest warrior of Cybertron Planet in the post-mythological era, Superior General Sentinal Prime possessed power comparable to the legendary Thirteen Primes. During the First Civil War, he had faced the Skytiger Legion's Hercules head-on and single-handedly vanquished it, a significant reason why Shockwave had later abandoned Hercules.

His unwavering confidence in his formidable combat abilities was the source of his confidence in collaborating with Megatron. He believed that, even if Decepticons harbored treacherous intentions, they were insignificant beneath his immense power.

Sentinal Prime was excessively arrogant to the extent that he attributed all of Autobot's failures during the First Civil War to the weakness and inadequacy of ordinary Autobots, claiming that subordinates couldn't perfectly execute his tactics.

He disregarded the Decepticons' constant military technological innovations, including the dangerous experiments led by Shockwave, which gave rise to advanced transformation technologies like Triple Changers, Vehicons, and the colossal Devastator, all of which were not conceived during the Cybertron civilization's peak but were pioneered within the Skytiger Legion.

"I hope it won't be too disastrous," Prowl said in silence as he watched Optimus Prime and his team enter the Spaceship, quickly discovering Sentinal Prime slumbering within and carefully transporting him out of the Spaceship before making their hasty retreat.

Prowl didn't leave; he waited until the Autobots began evacuating from the Moon. Then, he slowly spoke, "What about Bumblebee? Superior General's plan requires more allies. Hand him over to me, and I'll erase his memories..."

In response, Baricade emitted a cold chuckle. Starscream turned away, wearing a smile, and started walking toward the exit. It was only when he reached the door that he suddenly halted and spoke, "He's of no use anymore. If you want to take action, go ahead, but make it clean!"

The next moment, as Starscream took a step forward, an electromagnetic web enveloped the room within the Retribution numberSpaceship.

Baricade, with a gloomy expression, turned to look at Prowl. Finally, he no longer needed to suppress the murderous intent in his heart.
