Ironhide wasn't heartless, deliberately abandoning his comrades and companions. Although he had arrived a bit later than Bumblebee and the others, he had luckily avoided the electromagnetic pulse bomb attack that had come from an unknown source.

But as a commander, despite Ironhide's hot temper, he had a good grasp of the overall situation. Lord Fallen's target was the Leadership Module, so all he needed to do was take the Leadership Module and that would be the best protection for his comrades, especially for Bumblebee and the others who were currently immobilized.

Crane and Backfire, both of them had not been injured in the earlier electromagnetic pulse bomb attack. These Autobots who had come to Earth were all loyal to Optimus Prime or attracted by his character. So there was no need for Ironhide to explain further. Crane and Backfire stayed behind with him, each drawing their weapons and confronting Lord Fallen.

The Autobots were not afraid of death, especially after Sam and Ratchet had mentioned that the Leadership Module had the power of resurrection. Even though it was just a guess, it gave the Autobots infinite hope.

"Commander, leave this to us. Hurry and revive Leader!" Ironhide suppressed the urge to turn back and fight alongside his comrades.

All of Bumblebee's group had been injured in the previous missile attack, and currently, Ironhide was the only one with sufficient speed.

"My brothers are waiting for me..." Ironhide silently said in his heart. Just a moment ago, Ironhide had used long-range communication to order the Autobot base on Solia's side to send someone to transport Optimus Prime's remains, which had only recently been brought back to the base, to meet him.

Ironhide would enter Egypt first and then head south. If everything went smoothly, they would reunite in no more than ten to twenty hours. The premise, however, was that Ironhide could shake off Lord Fallen.

In the sky above, the U.S. military's aircraft had already caught the attention of all the Autobots and Decepticons present. The parachutes continuously descending from the sky also brought a sense of foreboding to those Autobots who understood the U.S. military.

Ironhide, as a weapons expert, had only a slight understanding of human-invented weapons due to his disdain for Earth's technology. This clearly did not include the weapons being dropped from the sky, but based on his knowledge of the United States, he feared that the situation was not good.

Soon, his suspicion was confirmed.

Crane and Backfire, when facing Lord Fallen, were far less capable than Sideswipe and the others. Lord Fallen, who was brimming with anger, swung his bone staff, sneering as he knocked one after another into the air. One was sent flying, while another's head was hammered into his chest.

"Damn reptiles!" He sneered, preparing to jump into the air, but suddenly he was grabbed by Sideswipe, who was emitting thick white smoke, and struggled to hold onto his leg. "You won't get away!"

In the sky above, the bombs falling toward them were getting closer and closer to the ground. Although Lord Fallen had a rough understanding of the human-invented weapons that could threaten him, it was similar to Ironhide's knowledge, just a cursory awareness of a few of them. He knew of some weapons that could pose a threat to him.

But because he had just suffered a setback, his current condition was equally dire. He was only slightly better off than the Autobots around him, who had been immobilized due to the destruction of electronic components in their bodies.

Lord Fallen's thigh was grabbed, and his body slightly paused. He looked down at Sideswipe, who was emitting white smoke and sparks, in a terrible state. He wore an appreciative smile on his face.

"Although you're a traitor, your courage is commendable!"

His smile suddenly turned malicious, and Lord Fallen's metal bone staff was suddenly thrust toward Sideswipe.

"No..."

Ratchet couldn't bear to watch and closed his eyes. Lord Fallen's bone staff easily pierced Sideswipe's chest, entering the bright blue Spark within him.

After a crackling sound from the Spark, it gradually lost its radiance.

At the same time, Sideswipe, who had been tightly gripping Lord Fallen's arms, suddenly lost all strength.

His eyes dimmed, and the elite warrior, Sideswipe, had fallen in battle!

However, Lord Fallen did not notice the faint smile on Sideswipe's lips because he had achieved his goal.

"Boom!"

A GBU-43B Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB) bomb finally landed on the ground, exploding only a little over 200 meters away from Lord Fallen's location.

The earth was shrouded in thick mist-like gas, and the Autobots on the ground, including Lord Fallen, barely had time to react when suddenly, a thunderous shockwave shook the earth. In an instant, an area of nearly hundreds of thousands of square meters erupted in flames, trees fell, and mountains crumbled. A colossal mushroom cloud resembling a nuclear explosion soared into the sky from the southern section of the Petra Mountains.

Subsequently, the second... the third... the fourth...

It was evident how wary and resentful the U.S. military was of the Decepticons and Autobots, these so-called extraterrestrial beings. They had employed one of the most powerful conventional weapons in the U.S. military's arsenal.

And not just one!

The consecutive explosions quickly shook Jordan to its core, and even the surrounding countries, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, were all shocked by the more than twenty bombs dropped and detonated by the U.S. military within Jordan's borders. Mountains shattered, the earth trembled, and the explosions' flames had not only caused psychological fear but had also stirred the atmosphere within a radius of dozens of square kilometers.

Nearly twenty kilometers away from the explosion site, a Jordanian village was affected. Within minutes of the airburst bomb's detonation, well water boiled, chickens and dogs fell to the ground, and even the villagers found it difficult to breathe, with some clutching their throats.

Soon, Ironhide, who had rushed out of the Petra Mountains and arrived on a nearby road, was swayed by the shockwave from the explosions. A heavy and mournful horn sounded from within his transformed heavy-duty pickup truck.

He wanted to turn back to save his comrades and friends, but reason told him that this was the best opportunity. He had to leave this place quickly and bring the Leadership Module to Optimus Prime.

"Sorry, my brothers, my friends..."

The heavy and mournful horn continued to sound as Ironhide's speed increased. He followed a road leading directly to the Red Sea and sped toward the Red Sea.

The rendezvous point he had agreed upon with the Autobots transporting Optimus Prime's remains was the southern Egyptian town of Aswan.

If the earlier bombing by the U.S. military had inflicted sufficient damage on Lord Fallen, he might just make it in time.
