The knocking on the door hadn't stopped, and Sun Cheng strolled over to the door, unlocked it, and indeed saw the figure he had been yearning for.

In an instant, a hint of tenderness appeared in his eyes, which were becoming more machine-like and emotionless.

"Sis, aren't you supposed to start working?"

Seeing Ye Qi holding a transparent glass teapot, Sun Cheng instantly understood. She must have noticed his lingering alcohol scent from when he returned earlier, so she brought him a pot of freshly squeezed juice to help sober him up.

The glass teapot that Ye Qi brought was filled with a reddish-orange liquid. While the strong scents of shampoo and shower gel assaulted his nose, he could also faintly detect a sweet and tangy fruity aroma mixed in.

"It's so late, why did you lock the door?"

Ye Qi complained, her long hair disheveled and still slightly curly. Clearly, she hadn't finished drying it.

She walked into the room, placed the cups she brought on the table, and poured a full cup of the reddish-orange juice from the glass teapot, handing it to him.

"Look at you, reeking of alcohol... Come and have some fruit and vegetable juice to sober up. I just freshly squeezed it. It has carrots, tomatoes, and oranges!"

"Mhm!"

Sun Cheng agreed and accepted the vegetable juice without refusal.

He suddenly recalled that the last time he returned from the Transformers Universe, he had attended a banquet hosted by the Panda Communications Group in the real world. He usually didn't drink much, but the executives there insisted he have a couple of glasses. While he wasn't out of control upon returning, he was indeed tipsy.

Sun Cheng couldn't help but wonder if the heightened aversion his mind had developed toward his body this time was due to his current inebriated state.

He raised his cup and took a small sip. Contrary to his expectations, the vegetable juice, which he assumed wouldn't taste good, was surprisingly sweet and tangy, a pleasant combination.

He then tipped the glass back and finished over half of it in one gulp, leaving only about a third of the cup on the coffee table.

"Leave the drink here. I'll sit for a while to sober up, then I'll go take a shower and rest. Sis, you can go about your business. Remember to rest early!"

Sun Cheng hadn't fully adapted his spirit to his body yet, and standing for too long still gave him the feeling that his body was losing control and about to fall forward. He didn't force himself, quickly sitting back on the sofa. He massaged his temples, attempting to alleviate his various discomforts.

Ye Qi was somewhat worried. "Don't you dislike alcohol? Why did you drink so much tonight?"

By now, Sun Cheng had recalled his memories from before he entered the Transformers Universe. At her words, he snorted softly and replied, "China's drinking culture is an ancient and stubborn tradition. Whether you're happy, unhappy, doing business, or discussing feelings, there are plenty of excuses to drink. They'll force you to drink."

Sun Cheng disliked the taste of alcohol, and he rarely consumed it in the past. Thus, he had a low alcohol tolerance.

Tonight, if he remembered correctly, his own company, Cybertron Technology, had reached an agreement with the domestic social communication giant, Panda Communications Group, specifically regarding their collaboration with PandaWeiyun. To celebrate the agreement, executives from the Panda side had invited him to a banquet. Although Wang Lu, the CEO of his company, tried to protect him from excessive drinking, the Panda executives relentlessly urged him to drink. Initially, he managed to decline a few times, but as everyone consumed more alcohol, when he declined again later, their expressions soured.

Alcohol, in a way, is loved by those who enjoy it more than those who dislike it. They can find countless reasons to prove the benefits of drinking.

However, for the body, alcohol is more harmful than helpful, affecting the brain as well. That's the main reason Sun Cheng dislikes alcohol.

Perhaps this was a tuition fee for his inexperience. He wouldn't attend such banquets a second time in the future. This time, he needed to show his prowess in the real world, and after some time, the faces of certain individuals would no longer be worth him compromising his own well-being.

Seeing his less than good condition, Ye Qi went to the bathroom, wetted a clean towel, and used it to wipe his face.

Under ordinary circumstances, such a rare display of tenderness would have been very enjoyable for him.

Unfortunately, at this moment, Sun Cheng needed some time to be alone and sort out the chaos in his mind caused by the sudden influx of memories. So he interrupted Ye Qi, grabbing the towel from her, "I'll do it myself. Let me sit for a while. You can go about your business."

"Well... alright..."

Finally sending Ye Qi away, Sun Cheng breathed a sigh of relief.

His current state wasn't great, and perhaps being alone for a while was better than having someone look after him.

With his eyes closed, leaning on the sofa, Sun Cheng did his best not to dwell on troublesome matters. He treated this as a period of relaxation, occasionally letting some vague memory fragments pass through his mind.

At some point, he began to snore, and he ended up falling asleep while seated on the sofa.

Sleeping while sitting on the sofa was far from a comfortable experience.

When he woke up the next morning, Sun Cheng felt sore all over his body.

Stretching lazily, he felt the stiffness and discomfort throughout his body. However, his mood was much better than the night before.

The aversion his mind had felt toward his body seemed to have dissipated after a night's sleep. His body felt stiff and uncomfortable mainly because he had slept sitting up on the sofa all night, leading to poor blood circulation.

Feeling something bump against his foot, Sun Cheng, who was in the middle of doing chest expansions, froze. He looked down and found a thin blanket had fallen to the ground.

It was undoubtedly the blanket that Ye Qi had brought over to cover him last night, considering the air conditioning in the room had been on.

Bending down to pick it up, Sun Cheng's expression softened. After shaking it off a bit, he placed it back on the sofa. He then headed out, making his way to the bathroom.

Before the last time he crossed over, they had already reached an agreement with Panda Communications Group, and if nothing went wrong, they would sign the contract officially today or tomorrow.

Sun Cheng was somewhat fond of this contract. It would help Cybertron Technology establish itself firmly in the real world. He would also gain the two things he needed most right now: social influence and more resources.

With these two things, Sun Cheng would be able to continue pursuing his other plans.

After all, his return to the real world this time wasn't just for a round of 'Business Tycoon Online'. He was here to integrate the industrial capacity, manufacturing capabilities, and resources of this world to cultivate a group of Decepticons capable of being driven as quickly as possible in the real world.

That's right, this time Sun Cheng had returned to the real world ahead of schedule to take advantage of the temporal asymmetry between the two worlds, venturing to create Decepticons in the real world.
