The first meeting with Thunder, honestly, made Excavator feel awful.

A pair of crimson eyes stared at him intensely, showing clear hostility towards him.

Moreover, from the electromagnetic spectrum emitted by the other party, Excavator could keenly sense that this was an unknown Decepticon warrior, no weaker than Frenzy.

Although Excavator had strengthened himself by leaking and selling information about his master, Starscream, to Frenzy in the past few months, if he were to face Frenzy again, he felt he could only hold on for a few more minutes than before.

This was based on the premise that Frenzy didn't reveal all of his abilities, as they had worked together quite a bit before Frenzy left North Dovinsk.

Though he hid his strength, Excavator could tell that Frenzy had also held back during their encounters. There was still a significant gap between them.

By extension, Excavator could roughly estimate Thunder's strength.

"Where did Frenzy find this helper?"

Feeling puzzled, Excavator didn't bother to investigate covertly. After sizing up Thunder, he turned his head and asked Sun Cheng directly, "Lord Frenzy, who is this?"

This was the Decepticon way – openly brazen, cunning yet seldom deceitful, except for some ambitious ones like Starscream.

"He's called Thunder, one of the most outstanding warriors under my command!"

Sun Cheng glanced at Thunder, who remained on alert with hostility towards Excavator, and nodded with satisfaction.

Even if Excavator could be persuaded, he was still a Decepticon, and Sun Cheng couldn't help but be cautious around him.

Thunder was performing well, and Sun Cheng believed he could play the role of the "big stick" in his hands effectively.

Excavator seemed somewhat wary, taking another glance at Thunder, who was glaring at him fiercely. He couldn't help but mimic Sun Cheng's tone, "Your subordinate here doesn't seem too friendly to me!"

Sun Cheng smiled faintly. He didn't want to listen to Excavator's complaints and casually changed the topic, "I appreciate your help during my absence. I hope I won't hear any bad news from you."

This was the second time he repeated this sentence, and Excavator wasn't a fool. He could easily discern the meaning behind Sun Cheng's words.

However, Sun Cheng's attitude also put him at ease. He glared back at Thunder, feeling somewhat exasperated, "And I wanted to ask you, why did you leave without saying anything, leaving me to clean up after you!"

Having been around Sun Cheng for a while, Excavator had picked up some of his mannerisms.

Seeing Sun Cheng not responding, Excavator felt somewhat disappointed. He wanted to inquire about his whereabouts during his absence.

However, he couldn't afford to play games with Sun Cheng, especially with Soundwave likely to arrive soon.

With a pause in his tone, Excavator offered a reminder, "I covered for you with the boss, but I can't cover up your own actions. Soundwave should be arriving soon, so you better be prepared!"

As he said this, he couldn't help but glance at Thunder beside him again.

Having such a powerful warrior under Frenzy made Excavator feel a bit uneasy. He had also recognized Forerunner just now. Now that Forerunner had upgraded to his new mechanical body, his combat power had surpassed Excavator's. This made him feel somewhat unbalanced.

Remember, not even half a year ago, when he first arrived in North Dovinsk, Excavator's strength was enough to crush Forerunner effortlessly.

But there was nothing he could do about it. On the contrary, the addition of these two powerful warriors to Frenzy's forces made him feel somewhat relieved.

He speculated that even if Frenzy couldn't defeat him, it wouldn't be easy for Soundwave to eliminate him.

For Excavator, this was undoubtedly a good thing, as it meant he could continue to gain advantages by betraying his master, Starscream, to Frenzy.

"Soundwave?"

Sun Cheng narrowed his eyes, looking fierce as he asked Excavator, "Are you sure he's coming to North Dovinsk?"

Not long ago, he had hurriedly arrived here with Forerunner and Thunder after receiving an urgent message from the Decepticon engineer stationed in North Dovinsk. Due to the lack of information, Sun Cheng didn't even check the supposed completed hydroelectric power plant when flying over the Far East.

Excavator sneered. He was somewhat gloating now and couldn't wait to witness the scene where Frenzy and Soundwave met.

His tone became even more smug, "It was personally told to me by Lord Starscream. It won't be long before he arrives!"

Sun Cheng paid no attention to Excavator's glee. However, his excellent electronic eyes caught Thunder's look of indignation. He slightly raised his hand to stop Thunder, who wanted to teach Excavator a lesson. At the same time, he began to plan.

Assuming what Starscream said was true, he didn't know when Starscream had contacted Excavator, but the time should not have been too far from the moment the Decepticon engineer urgently notified him in North Dovinsk.

The three of them had flown at over 1.5 times the speed of sound throughout the journey from Base 2 in South America to North Dovinsk, and that was to accommodate Thunder.

The new mechanical body Thunder used was the first generation model designed by Decepticon engineers. Its internal weapon systems were complex and cumbersome. In a sense, its destructive power in a short period of time still surpassed Sun Cheng's new mechanical body. However, its shortcomings were also apparent.

Despite the engineers later adding a specialized energy supply system for the internal weapon systems, it still couldn't keep up with Thunder's consumption.

This meant that Thunder's speed couldn't meet Sun Cheng's requirements. This bulky figure didn't fit his aesthetics of violence, which was why he abandoned the initial design model of the new mechanical body.

Sun Cheng and Forerunner both had auxiliary power systems installed, making them much faster than the cumbersome Thunder.

However, even for the sake of accommodating Thunder, the three Decepticons arrived in North Dovinsk without any delay in their journey from Base 2.

Now they were all here, but Soundwave hadn't arrived yet. It was a good explanation.

Sun Cheng looked up at the sky and then withdrew his gaze.

Soundwave should have been staying at the Decepticon base on the moon. Considering the distance between the moon and Earth, he should be arriving soon, even though he had set off earlier than Sun Cheng.

This thought had just occurred to him when suddenly, both he and Thunder simultaneously turned their heads to the southeast direction, where the moon currently lay.

Just now, a terrifying presence that made them both sense danger had appeared. The other party didn't bother to conceal its powerful electromagnetic spectrum and was flying toward North Dovinsk at a terrifying speed several times the speed of sound.

Soundwave was here!
