"How confident are you?"

Although he was asking a question, Sun Cheng's tone was very decisive.

Atlas lowered his head again, not meeting his gaze, but still answered him.

"...If we use the fragment we've always used to cultivate new Decepticons, then I am at least 80% certain that I can revive him!"

Sun Cheng squinted his eyes; he didn't say anything but seriously considered the pros and cons.

He didn't have many fragments of the "All Spark." As the most substantial reward from the "Battle of Las Vegas," he had discovered four fragments during the post-battle settlement.

Among them, three fragments were kept by Sun Cheng inside the Spherical Space for a long time until he discovered that one fragment he had left for research had the unexpected ability to partially retain the power of the "All Spark" after absorbing enough energy. This brought attention to the significance of these fragments.

Currently, besides the fragment Forerunner had obtained from the human boy Sam, Sun Cheng only kept the largest fragment for himself, and he handed over the remaining three fragments to Atlas and the others.

Out of those three fragments, one was used in the experiments in Atlas' laboratory. From the deciphered information contained in that fragment, they had obtained accurate location coordinates about "Skyfire."

The other two fragments were in Atlas' custody. One was placed in a dedicated power conversion device for energy absorption, and the other was used for "cultivating new Decepticons."

This was the reason Sun Cheng noticed that Atlas was trying to play tricks on him!

Atlas was the direct supervisor of the base's "New Decepticon Cultivation Project." Every new Decepticon that wanted to possess intelligence needed to be exposed to the radiation of the "All Spark" after their birth. If they failed, they would become mindless Decepticons driven by nothing but the desire for battle and destruction. Only a certain chance of success could bring forth intelligence and reason.

Although the base had been engaged in "New Decepticon Cultivation" for a long time since the birth of the first "New Decepticon," Adam, the success rate was still not one hundred percent.

The cultivation of "New Decepticons" was crucial for the development of the base, and therefore, Sun Cheng granted Atlas a great deal of freedom and power.

Atlas had led a team of engineers, working day and night to improve the success rate of "New Decepticon Cultivation."

During this time, they had tried various methods to stimulate the fragment's radiation, and they even conducted experiments to analyze the structure of the "All Spark" fragment. Their understanding of the fragment far surpassed that of Sun Cheng.

After considering the pros and cons of resurrecting "Skyfire," Sun Cheng quickly abandoned the idea.

During his time at the museum, he had briefly glimpsed the memories of "Skyfire." Although it was just a quick glance and he didn't take it too seriously, Sun Cheng could still sense that "Skyfire" harbored a deep aversion towards Megatron, the Decepticon army, and even his own Decepticon identity.

Despite Sun Cheng not being particularly fond of the Decepticon army or Megatron, he never denied his own Decepticon identity. In this world, this identity had brought him many benefits.

Moreover, considering "Skyfire's" status and strength, Sun Cheng didn't believe that he would choose to join him after awakening.

He made his decision quickly, taking a glance at the motionless "Skyfire" on the experimental table. "...I need what's inside his head; there's no need to wake him up for now."

Sun Cheng planned to extract "Skyfire's" memories step by step, especially the knowledge of Cybertron's pinnacle era. He had to master it.

As for whether he would need to wake up "Skyfire" later, that was another matter.

At least for the short term, he had no intention of wasting a fragment to wake him up.

"Yes!"

Atlas nodded and then asked, "So, Master, should we handle the memory extraction work?"

"No need!"

Sun Cheng decisively dismissed all of their thoughts. He cast a cold glance at Atlas, and the engineers who had secretly been peeking at him all lowered their heads. His voice was colder than ever, "I will take care of this myself!"

His group of Decepticons had begun to have their own thoughts.

He didn't have the energy to ponder what his subordinates were thinking when he was surrounded by enemies.

He decided to wake them up resolutely later. Sun Cheng was selfish, but he had never considered keeping the knowledge of Cybertron's pinnacle era hidden from his engineers.

However, "Skyfire's" memories held too many secrets about the Decepticon army and even Cybertron's past.

From that quick glance before, even Sun Cheng's Spark had palpitated slightly.

As an elder who had experienced the most brilliant era of Cybertronian civilization, "Skyfire" had directly or indirectly been involved in the birth of the Decepticon army, the decline of the Elder Parliament, the counterattack of the Prime Royal Family, and the first internal war between the Decepticons and Autobots.

Some things were already dispersed in the river of history. One more person who knew about them was already too much!

Sun Cheng's unprecedentedly cold attitude undoubtedly shocked his Decepticons, who had recently become somewhat complacent and arrogant.

Facing his cold gaze, even Atlas, who had always been favored by him, seemed frightened at the moment.

As if sensing that Sun Cheng's gaze lingered on him for a moment longer, there was a moment when he felt as though his Core was about to freeze.

When he realized that Sun Cheng had withdrawn his gaze and gestured for them to leave, Atlas finally snapped back to his senses.

He quickly bowed to him and then turned to leave the laboratory.

As the laboratory door closed, Sun Cheng looked again at "Skyfire" lying quietly on the experimental table, thinking about how to make the most of his value.

Suddenly, after who knew how long, a series of intense alarms sounded.

Sun Cheng had just recovered from his thoughts when the voice of Teletraan came from inside the laboratory.

"Master, we have trouble... Six minutes ago, we lost contact with a satellite!"
