Within the sand sea of the Lop Nur region, there was a gigantic stone engraved with ancient Cybertronian script.

Back when he was still partnered with Barricade, Sun Cheng had hacked the internet multiple times in search of clues about Megatron and the All Spark.

To his surprise, he actually found information about ancient Cybertronians who had visited Earth in the past, leaving behind numerous inscriptions. These markings bore a strong connection to Cybertron.

Some of these inscriptions were incredibly old, potentially dating back thousands of years, often found amidst primitive murals depicting deities.

Sun Cheng recalled seeing an image of a stone with Cybertronian characters engraved on it in a photograph taken by a former Soviet explorer in the Lop Nur area. The character was still stored in his Core, but being an ancient script, Sun Cheng couldn't decipher its meaning.

"It's strange, truly peculiar! A remote planet situated at the edge of the Milky Way, so far away from Cybertron. Why would Cybertronians have visited Earth in ancient times? And judging by the quantity, it couldn't have been just a small group or a few individuals. Could they also have been searching for the All Spark? Or is there something else on Earth that attracted them?"

These questions had taken root in his mind since learning about the meeting location being confirmed at Lop Nur.

Furthermore, their encounters with Sideways and Devastator had inadvertently revealed information about Lord Fallen and his search for the Leadership Module.

Ever since then, Sun Cheng had developed a keen interest in the enormous stone located within the Lop Nur sand sea.

Their trip to China and Russia had been successful, and he had managed to obtain almost everything he had wanted.

He anticipated being incredibly busy in the near future.

Given the time he had now, and the rare opportunity of being in Lop Nur, Sun Cheng decided to search for the stone engraved with the ancient script, hoping to uncover any potential clues.

Fortunately, the former Soviet explorer who had photographed the stone had left its geographical coordinates in the records.

Sun Cheng compared the coordinates with the satellite imagery and quickly located the desert area where the stone was situated.

However, as he descended from the sky, his brow furrowed involuntarily.

Before him stretched a vast and boundless desert, giving the impression of endlessness at first glance.

This sand sea had very few prominent features left. Previous nuclear tests and the destruction caused by nomadic tribes and agriculture over the past centuries had eradicated any traces of vegetation. Only occasionally, a few withered Populus euphratica and Haloxylon grass could be spotted.

"It appears that the coordinates on the photograph were not entirely accurate..."

After a brief frown, Sun Cheng relaxed and began wandering aimlessly across the sandy terrain. This situation was within his expectations.

After all, if the online information was correct, the former Soviet explorer had arrived in Lop Nur in the 1940s. With the exploration equipment and surveying techniques available at that time, they could only approximate the latitude and longitude. Locating the stone within this vast desert would require some effort.

Provided that it had not been destroyed.

After wandering without purpose for a while, Sun Cheng's patience began to wear thin.

With a wave of his hand, he summoned the seven combat robots once again. He transmitted the photo of the stone, saved within his Core, to them and issued a search command. Meanwhile, Sun Cheng ascended several dozen meters into the air, activating the Core to thoroughly scour the tens of kilometers of the surrounding sand sea.

Hard work pays off. When searching 17 kilometers southwest, Core accidentally scanned a sand dune in the sand sea below, where a foreign object was preventing the penetration of electromagnetic waves.

The data feedback indicated that it was an irregular object, approximately six meters tall and weighing around seventy or eighty tons.

Swiftly descending from the sky, Sun Cheng circled the sand dune and couldn't help but feel certain.

"It should be right here..."

After increasing Core's output, stronger electromagnetic waves continuously emitted from his mechanical body, penetrating beneath the sand dune.

Soon, the data continuously fed back by the electromagnetic waves was constructed into a model within Core, and Sun Cheng's eyes couldn't help but show delight.

He finally confirmed that he had found the massive boulder.

"Indeed, because a considerable amount of time has passed... The sand blown by the strong wind has steadily accumulated around the boulder, eventually forming this sand dune..."

Gazing at the towering sand dune before him, which must have been twenty or thirty meters high, consisting of thousands of tons of sand grains.

Considering the substantial scale of this endeavor, it would take a while if he were to excavate it alone. Sun Cheng promptly issued a convergence command to the seven battle robots that were still searching for boulders everywhere.

However, the nearest battle robot was over five kilometers away from his location.

Therefore, after issuing the convergence command, he began digging on the sand dune himself.

This process continued for over two hours until, with the addition of the seven battle robots, Sun Cheng and his team finally pierced through the sand dune, completely revealing the massive boulder buried beneath.

"Whew..."

He couldn't help but release a sigh. Although the Decepticon's mechanical body didn't experience fatigue, the prolonged, monotonous task of digging sand did induce a faint sense of weariness.

Waving his hand, he ordered the seven battle robots surrounding him to retreat, and Sun Cheng also took a couple of steps back, intently examining the boulder he had excavated from under the sand dune, a result of his tremendous effort.

This stone was the very one Sun Cheng had seen on the internet, captured in a photo by the former Soviet explorer, featuring the Cybertron script engraved upon it.

The stone stood tall, as the surface gravel had been cleared during the excavation, revealing the true appearance of the boulder. Judging by its color and patterns, it was unmistakably a colossal granite formation.

His gaze paused for a moment on the section of the stone where the Cybertron characters, resembling a gigantic eyeball, were etched. Sun Cheng's face displayed a pensive expression.

No wonder the first Soviet explorer to discover it believed that this massive stone was a sacred object used by an ancient local tribe in the Lop Nur region for rituals, given that the engraved Cybertron characters strongly resembled a colossal eye. The only discrepancy was that it appeared to be positioned slightly higher, approximately four meters from the ground.

"Could it be that this height was engraved by a Decepticon who had arrived on Earth a long time ago and came to this place? Or perhaps it was done personally by an Autobot?"

Sun Cheng did not recognize the Cybertron script resembling an eyeball on the stone. He had asked Barricade before, and according to him, it was the script of the Elders, a writing system created by the super leaders during the ancient council. It was even more mysterious and ancient. Apart from the Leaders and a select few scientists from Cybertron Planet, it was unlikely that anyone knew its true meaning.
