Two elderly men who looked like experts studied the classified submarine technology on the light wall for a while before returning to nod at their superior. The superior nodded slightly and turned to Sun Cheng, saying, "Mr. Frenzy, the Three Gorges is not a viable option. How about this, you need power to supplement your energy, right? How about we provide you with another power station?"

Sun Cheng frowned, neither answering nor explicitly refusing.

He had indeed considered that it would be difficult for China to agree to give up such an important water conservancy project like the Three Gorges.

However, there weren't many hydropower stations in China that could meet his requirements.

He pretended to think for a moment and then nodded slightly, saying, "It's not impossible. Please tell me first, are you planning to transfer the hydropower station to us..."

"When it comes to hydropower stations, China hasn't placed much emphasis on water resources in the past. Therefore, most of our hydropower stations are small to medium-sized, which may not meet your requirements. How about this..."

The superior suddenly turned to look at a middle-aged man in a sharp suit who appeared to be in his forties and asked, "Xiao He, I remember the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps has several thermal power stations under construction, right?"

"Yes, sir. One is in Wujiaqu, and another one is in Yili. Oh, and there's also a large-scale thermal power station in the nearby Hami area, with a total installed capacity that should exceed 1 million MW."

Thermal power station!

Upon hearing those words, Sun Cheng's expression immediately turned unpleasant.

He reluctantly listened to the rest of what the other party had to say and then firmly declined, "We only want hydropower stations, and they must be large-scale or larger..."

From a maintenance perspective, thermal power stations require less effort compared to hydropower stations. After all, most hydropower stations are built on rivers and lakes, and apart from equipment, they require regular inspections of dams, seismic reinforcement, flood control, and so on.

However, apart from its environmental impact, hydropower stations have no other disadvantages.

Unlike thermal power stations and nuclear power stations that rely on continuous combustion of coal and enriched uranium for power generation, hydropower stations rely on water energy.

In contrast, the maintenance costs of hydropower stations may be higher, but Sun Cheng would soon have a large number of industrial robots at his disposal, so he wouldn't be concerned about the maintenance costs.

What he valued more was that hydropower stations generate power mainly through water, which is an endless, renewable, and clean energy source.

In other words, as long as there are no issues with the water, his hydropower station would remain problem-free for several decades.

The superior looked at him with some difficulty, but unfortunately, Sun Cheng wasn't willing to compromise. His stance was resolute, "If this condition cannot be met, then there's no need to continue the discussion."

His implication was that the negotiation could only proceed if the hydropower station was secured.

The atmosphere in the room suddenly turned chilly!

China had sent a whole team of people for this negotiation, indicating that they were prepared for such a possible situation.

As the atmosphere turned cold, another man in a suit stepped forward and asked, "Mr. Frenzy, you mentioned the space bridge earlier. May I ask what that is?"

As soon as those words were spoken, the awkward atmosphere eased slightly.

Sun Cheng looked at the group of Chinese people and noticed that they might be considering the gains and losses of trading the hydropower station. He didn't rush to urge them but instead looked at the man in the suit with interest and slowly replied, "The Space Bridge is a space technology from our planet, Cybertron. Simply put, with the Space Bridge, we can easily transport troops and supplies from their original stationed areas to any corner of your Earth."

Although his understanding of the Space Bridge was limited to fragmented memories of Blackout, Frenzy, and Jazz, it was enough to deceive a civilization that had yet to emerge from its cradle.

After speaking, he looked at the people in front of him with great interest and began to calculate in his mind.

"Like this..."

He waved his hand casually to the side.

The next moment, seven fully armed battle robots appeared on the nearby open ground.

"Wow!"

Since these were combat robots specifically calibrated by Sun Cheng, as soon as they were retrieved from the spherical space, they instinctively loaded bullets and charged their shoulder cannons as per the pre-set program.

Seeing the astonishment on the faces of the Chinese team, he felt a sense of pride and couldn't help but show off, saying, "This is the Space Bridge. Even on Cybertron Planet, only a few leaders can master this super technology. If needed, I can instantly deploy hundreds of soldiers into battle from our base..."

He had to admit that his showmanship had indeed achieved good results.

The initial astonishment on the chief's face had just faded, but his brows had unconsciously furrowed.

The ability to teleport soldiers out of thin air was truly difficult to defend against.

As one of the country's decision-makers, even though he held a high position in domestic economy and internal affairs, he couldn't be devoid of sensitivity. Naturally, he perceived the threat posed by Sun Cheng.

But...

Seeing Sun Cheng growing more impatient, after showing off, he quickly waved his hand again, sending the just-teleported soldiers somewhere unknown.

The chief sighed inwardly. He had intended to secure more favorable conditions for the country.

However, it was clear that there was a significant disparity in the cards held by both sides. Any further delay could likely result in China missing out on the opportunity for a breakthrough, allowing their northern neighbor to benefit without cause.

Therefore, he subtly shook his head to the few companions who were about to continue the conversation and finally spoke, "Mr. Frenzy, since you have also made several concessions for us, the Chinese side is willing to make some concessions regarding the hydropower station. I have a good proposal that should meet your needs!"

...

After spending another entire day at the Lop Nur military camp, Sun Cheng left with a satisfied smile.

This trip to China could be considered nearly perfect.

Regarding resources, the Chinese side agreed to almost all of his requests without much debate.

Although the negotiations concerning the Three Gorges were met with resistance, with the other party initially wanting to substitute it with a thermal power station, ultimately, under Sun Cheng's firm demands, China decided to compromise and offered a large hydropower station that was under construction in the southwest region and already in the later stages.

While it required an additional day of discussions to address technology transfer, resource allocation, and the specific management of the hydropower station, Sun Cheng obtained nearly everything he desired during this trip to China. It was safe to say that it was a perfect outcome.

Therefore, after agreeing on the first handover of technology and resources with the Chinese side, Sun Cheng leaped into the sky.

However, after briefly surveying the area above the military camp, he didn't rush to leave China.

Instead, he looked towards the desolate sand dunes around him and verified the direction using the satellites in outer space. Soon, he flew towards a sand sea in the northeast.
