Onslaught's base was similar to Starscream's base, both located in Arizona, one in Pima County in the south and the other in a large canyon in the northwest.

"We're here..."

After a hurried night of travel, the group finally reached their destination as the sky began to brighten.

Onslaught quickly transformed back into his robot form after reminding them.

Clearly, he was much more cautious than Starscream. Not only did he choose a base far from civilization, but he also arranged some contingencies. Both Sun Cheng and Lazerbeak had detected the subtle surveillance around them.

"Let's go!"

Standing on a cliff overlooking a gorge, Onslaught pointed downwards and jumped straight down.

Sun Cheng saw that it was a concave mountain, and although it looked very high, a platform cleverly extended out from the bottom dozens of meters away. Obviously, Onslaught's base was hidden behind the mountain behind the platform.

He wasn't bothered by the height, and didn't ask Lazerbeak to carry him down. Sun Cheng followed Onslaught and leaped down, experiencing a brief moment of weightlessness before landing on the platform.

After he steadied himself, he looked ahead and saw that a huge cave had been excavated into the mountain behind the platform. Onslaught had obviously disguised the entrance, and it was easy to mistake it for a natural cave formed by geological activity, unless one looked closely.

Onslaught walked quickly and disappeared around a corner as soon as he entered the cave.

Seeing that Lazerbeak had also flown in, Sun Cheng hurriedly followed.

Onslaught had set up a lot of surveillance equipment in the cave, and Sun Cheng looked around as he walked. Surprisingly, it didn't look like it had just been completed, although it looked much simpler than Starscream's base. If one inspected it carefully, every cut in the cave wall revealed that it had been there for some years.

After only a few minutes of walking in the cave, the group suddenly emerged into a spacious area.

Onslaught's base wasn't as complex as Starscream's. The huge cave space was almost filled with all kinds of strange machines, and there were also some low-level Decepticon soldiers busy maintaining and inspecting them. They seemed to be more advanced than the soldiers in Starscream's base.

Perhaps it was because he was in a good mood, or because he wanted to give Soundwave face, the true boss behind the two of them. After bringing Sun Cheng and Lazerbeak back to his base, Onslaught seemed much more gentle, "Don't mess up my machines, but you can look around!"

Lazerbeak unexpectedly transformed into a pink robot after landing. Although his humanoid form was only slightly taller than Sun Cheng, his sophisticated mechanical body indicated that Soundwave had not neglected him, especially with Sun Cheng as a comparison.

Ignoring Sun Cheng's envious gaze, Lazerbeak looked around and asked, "How long have you been on Earth, Onslaught?"

"Ten years and seven months? No, maybe nine months... I can't remember..." Onslaught waved away two soldiers who were trying to repair a machine in front of him and answered without looking back.

"I know what you want to ask. Unless the All Spark is really on Earth, I won't interfere no matter what you do!"

The veteran Decepticon was obviously not fond of Megatron either. He had never cared about the Decepticon Leader, and this was probably one of the reasons he worked with Starscream.

Lazerbeak's eyes flashed, but he didn't ask any more questions. Obviously, he had deep concerns about Onslaught.

Although Onslaught was not as powerful as the Triple Changers, the strength he had shown in his recent actions demonstrated the power of this veteran Decepticon warrior. He might be able to hold his own against Soundwave or even Starscream and Shockwave, and probably wouldn't be too far behind even if he was weaker.

If such a powerful existence were to have the intention to kill him and Sun Cheng, they would probably not survive.

Facing Onslaught, Sun Cheng was a little less cautious than Lazerbeak.

Watching as he lightly tapped his fingers on the machine in front of him, a light screen was projected, revealing the design of two weapons that looked like long tubes. Sun Cheng curiously asked, "Lord Onslaught, what is this?"

"Railgun, a weapon design I accidentally discovered on Earth!" Onslaught didn't hide anything, perhaps because it was his own creation. "The fact that those fragile and tiny humans can occupy this planet is not without reason. Many of their ideas are highly appreciated by me, and the railgun is one of them. I plan to further improve this design to enhance my mechanical body!"

With the movement of his fingers, the design of the single-barreled weapon on the screen was quickly modified to a double-barreled one. Onslaught also redesigned the firing unit and chamber structure. Soon, a brand new design for a double-barreled and elongated turret appeared.

"Enhance the mechanical body..." Sun Cheng couldn't help but be moved by his words.

Previously, due to concerns about Starscream, he was afraid that his actions would lead to Starscream targeting him. He had been tense for a while, even after obtaining a Level 2 Core that could promote him, he didn't have time to consider promotion.

Now, with the impending battles, when he invaded Davis Monshan's base last night, his lack of combat power had been completely exposed.

Except for Starscream and Barricade, others should not know that he had obtained a Level 2 Core, and that thing had been inadvertently brought back to reality last time.

But Onslaught's words today awakened Sun Cheng.

Sun Cheng's heart sank. He was not unaware of what his words just meant.

But Soundwave didn't know when he would arrive on Earth, which had already caused too much crisis in his heart, so he had to ask.

For Decepticons like Mechanical Life Forms, asking others to help enhance themselves was almost equivalent to directly pledging allegiance.

After all, their bodies were being modified by others, and with the Decepticons' evil personalities, it was difficult to say that they wouldn't take advantage of the modification process to impose some restrictions and hidden hands, and control their lives in the future.

But Sun Cheng had to seize this opportunity. He was very clear that if he missed it, he couldn't even count on autonomously completing the promotion, let alone further enhancing his current mechanical body.

Unfortunately, he seemed to have made a mistake!

Seeing Lazerbeak's increasingly unpleasant expression, Sun Cheng's heart became cold, regretting his recklessness just now.

Just as he was thinking about how to appease this lord, he suddenly felt his body lighten, and only then did he notice that Onslaught had lifted him up and brought him to his face.

Sun Cheng looked up and met his gaze, capturing the emotion called "finding a new toy" in his eyes in an instant.
