The fierce humanoid monster suddenly appeared out of thin air from above the partition and crashed down, hitting Sun Cheng hard.

The sharp pain, coupled with the nauseating stench emanating from the monster, startled him. His first instinct, after snapping back to his senses, was to forcefully push it away. Then, driven by a surge of resentment, he struggled to get up and reached for its neck, attempting to strangle it.

"Master, it's already dead!"

After vigilantly monitoring the humanoid monster in mid-air for a while, ensuring that it showed no signs of life, Revenge floated in front of him and reminded him.

"Dead?" Sun Cheng, still pale-faced, nervously fixed his gaze on the towering humanoid monster whose throat he had tightly gripped.

"My blow needle pierced its body directly. The potent toxin would cause organ failure, leading to its demise!"

Only then did he remember that the blow needle inside Revenge's body was crafted by himself in another world. Its surface was coated with a layer of deadly poisonous metal, capable of causing an elephant's organs to fail and bring about a gruesome death within seconds. It was a malicious weapon, but quite troublesome to produce. Even in the other world, Atlas had only managed to create a dozen or so.

Realizing this, Sun Cheng's face slightly reddened.

Fortunately, there were no outsiders present. It made him realize that his handling of the situation and his mental state were not as composed as he had imagined.

Although Revenge didn't possess much self-awareness, Sun Cheng still didn't consider it as an outsider most of the time. Witnessing his own moment of panic, which was caught by Revenge, he couldn't help but feel awkward.

Quickly regaining his composure, he looked at the lifeless humanoid monster, his face displaying more curiosity than the disgust caused by its foul odor. "What exactly is this thing? An extraterrestrial?"

After confirming its demise, Sun Cheng's courage grew, and he directly reached out to explore its body.

This was an extremely terrifying humanoid monster, standing at least two or three meters tall, with a robust physique weighing no less than two hundred kilograms.

Its body was covered in a layer of peculiar armor that failed to provide complete protection. Just by observing its ability to utilize "optical invisibility," one could tell that this fellow was far from ordinary, possibly originating from a civilization more advanced than Earth's.

The likelihood of such a civilization hiding on Earth was extremely small, whereas the possibility of it coming from beyond the stars was higher.

However, as Sun Cheng inspected it more closely, his perplexity gradually grew.

"Weird... truly bizarre..."

There were far too many inexplicable aspects about this humanoid monster's body!

Although it possessed optical invisibility equipment, its armor seemed to lack defensive capabilities. Not to mention full-body armor, it didn't even have half-body armor.

Sun Cheng noticed that only the left half of its chest was armored, while the right side was covered with peculiar mesh-like objects. It was no wonder that Revenge's blow needle couldn't be blocked.

Upon further examination, he was surprised to find no advanced weapons or even conventional firearms that matched the monster's identity.

Sun Cheng retrieved an unidentified weapon resembling a whip from its waist. It appeared to be made of dozens of strands of an unknown alloy that was both soft and incredibly resilient. The whip had a triangular shape, and the three corners were bizarrely sharp. Sun Cheng tested it against the curtain hanging on his body, only to find that it sliced through it effortlessly!

The monster's belt had several bulging areas. After groping around, Sun Cheng finally found a way to open them. However, all he found inside were four discs with slightly bulging centers..

Revenge fell down, and a metallic joint extended from its body, pointing towards the left wrist of this humanoid monster. "Do you want me to deactivate this electronic device?"

"Shut it down immediately!"

Once again, the advantage of mechanical life over electronic devices became evident. It was clear that Revenge was encountering this type of humanoid monster for the first time. After locating the port on the electronic device attached to its left wrist, it quickly simulated an equivalent connector with its joint and began to invade the electronic device.

Sun Cheng looked at Revenge with anticipation. The optical cloaking equipment on this humanoid monster was highly advanced for Earth's civilization. If he could obtain it during this trip to Nubra Island, it would be a tremendous gain, enough to keep him occupied for a long time.

The invasion lasted for a dozen seconds before Sun Cheng heard strange characters appear on the screen of the electronic device, followed by its complete shutdown.

Afterward, Revenge retracted the metallic joint from the device and the cold electronic voice spoke once again, "Intrusion complete. Hunter-Killer type man-portable combat assistance device has been deactivated!"

"Hunter-Killer type man-portable combat assistance device?"

Sun Cheng widened his eyes and looked at the electronic device on the monster's left wrist, which had now been deactivated. He quickly asked, "Revenge, did you successfully hack this device? What exactly is this monster?"

"Master, I have successfully decrypted this device. These creatures are called 'Hunter-Killers,' originating from the Dinamco star system, approximately 3883 light-years away from Earth. They are savage beings who thrive on hunting and take pride in it. Earth is one of their designated hunting planets, and they send a group of newly matured 'Hunter-Killers' periodically for a rite of passage ceremony..."

"A rite of passage ceremony?"

"Yes, they must hunt down a sufficient number of formidable creatures within a specified time to demonstrate their prowess. The one I killed was one of the three lowest-ranking 'Hunter-Killers' dispatched to Earth."

To live by hunting, to take pride in hunting, and to perform a ceremonial ritual involving killing.

In an instant, Sun Cheng gasped, realizing that he had encountered an exceedingly cruel and brutal extraterrestrial creature!
