"How many cups of coffee is this today?"

"Probably the ninth one."

"Oh my god, is he okay?"

"Who knows, I think we shouldn't give him any more coffee."

"But he'll yell at us, and we can't yell back at him."

"But this can't go on."

In the hallway of the Time Management Bureau, Gwen Spider-Woman had a tray with a steaming cup of coffee, and Spider-Girl next to her was frowning, seemingly very dissatisfied.

"I know Director Nick is concerned about the future of humans and Spider-Man, but this is no reason for him to not sleep for seven or eight days. The human mind can't withstand this kind of abuse."

"I know, but who can persuade him?"

"Peter, oh, the Lucky Kid from central Space, he's known Director Nick the longest, he should have a way."

"Then let's go find him later."

The two pushed open the door to Nick's office, but found the Lucky Kid they were talking about already standing in front of Nick. Gwen Spider-Woman nudged Spider-Girl with her elbow and said, "I knew it wasn't just me worrying about this. Peter must be persuading him, let's not disturb them."

Spider-Girl nodded in agreement, thinking that even among all the Spider-Men, the one from central Space could be considered the most mature, and he must have a way to persuade Nick to stop his self-destructive work habits.

The two female Spider-Men didn't think too much about it. When Gwen Spider-Woman put the coffee in front of Nick, she found him looking a bit absent-minded. Gwen Spider-Woman thought, Peter's persuasion must have worked.

Peter saw Gwen Spider-Woman greet him and say, "Oh, thank you, your coffee will ensure I can talk to Director Nick a little longer, and then he'll go rest."

Gwen Spider-Woman and Spider-Girl exchanged a glance, feeling that Peter's words confirmed their guess, and the heavy stone in their hearts finally fell. The two left with light steps.

Nick picked up the coffee with a tired face, and Peter looked sympathetic. He sat across from Nick and said, "Of course I agree with what you said, uncontrolled Spider Totems are very dangerous, because we now rely on them to traverse the Multiverse."

"If the channels collapse one day, I don't even want to imagine the disasters my partners will face. Spider-Man has experienced enough human tragedies, we don't need any more natural disasters."

Nick nodded but didn't say anything. Seeing the fatigue and weariness on his face, Peter felt his eyes sting. He swallowed and then said, "Director, you don't have to do so much for us."

"Don't say that." Nick frowned, seeming reluctant, but Peter could still sense a bit of relief in the corner of his eyes.

I'm really an asshole, Peter thought. What's there to consider? To do something good for everyone, to ease a little of the burden on this elder who has contributed so much to all Spider-Men, why not?

"Okay, Director." Peter clenched his hands, lowered his head, and said, "I've said before, for some reason, when the Morlun Family made sacrifices to the Bat Totem, I gained a lot of Power of Belief, and also figured out their method of communicating with the Beast Totem."

"It's actually not that difficult. In fact, every Spider-Man can actively communicate with the Spider Totem, they just haven't realized it, so they don't do it. But I can. I can open a channel for Spider-Men to communicate with the Spider Totem."

"The Morlun family knows that if they use external force to seize the Totem, the power they need is simply incalculable. But if they become believers of the Totem, open the channel from the inside, and infuse power into it, directly overwriting the Totem's underlying documents, it would be much easier."

Peter looked into Nick's eyes and said, "That is, I opened the internal channel, and you forcefully inject power into it, until you modify the ownership of the Spider Totem to you, then you can control the Spider Totem."

Nick blinked and said, "So this is the truth about the Morlun Family hunting Spider-Men? They hope you can open the channel for them?"

Peter nodded, his expression somewhat somber as he said, "They have roamed the Multiverse for years, killing countless Spider-Men, but not a single Spider-Man has ever bowed to them, never."

Nick held onto Peter's wrist and said, "Perhaps you know, I have also been using Spider-Man, using your talents and abilities."

Peter looked at Nick's clear eye contact, with no conflict or hesitation, and said, "But you have given us something in return."

"Everyone in this world is exploiting the kindness of Spider-Man, we do not ask for anything in return, but the Majority of people don't even have the patience to make up a little lie to appease us, taking all of this for granted, and are not even willing to leave a few kind words."

Nick felt Peter's wrist trembling slightly, and he knew what Peter was referring to - the Majority of people in the Majority Space have always taken Spider-Man's good deeds for granted.

They don't care about Spider-Man's hardships, and don't even have the interest to truly understand him. Over time, most Spider-Men have come to feel that bearing the suffering and striving to do better is simply a given.

But in the vast Space, there is only one Space's Spider-Man who doesn't think this way, not because he lacks kindness, but because he has gained too much and lost too little, like a spoiled greenhouse flower. So when he sees the suffering of the other versions of himself, he can more keenly feel the jarring impact.

This is not a given.

"Of course I will do it," Peter said, looking at Nick with eyes glistening with tears: "It's just so that you can reverse the tragedy of Spider-Man, regardless of whether they feel they need it, and regardless of whether you are using them or loving them."

"It's not me, but us," Nick replied: "It is us who will reverse the tragedy of Spider-Man, and it is us who want to use them as much as we love them."

Then Nick said ambiguously, "I also know that Spider-Man wants to be loved as much as he wants to be used, this is the proof of their raison d'être, and it cannot be taken away by anyone... everyone is the same."

Peter opened the communication channel to the Spider Totem, and Nick poured in an endless amount of energy - Peter had no idea where this overwhelming energy came from.

The ownership of the Beast Totem was constantly being rewritten, with countless energies washing over this ancient and powerful Totem, but perhaps in the vast Space, although the Spider Totem is special, it is still not strong enough, and soon the name of Nick Fury was carved into it.

The Totem that was difficult to attack from the outside, the Totem that the Morlun Family had been pursuing for a thousand years, was thus attributed to an ordinary human, but when Nick Fury's name echoed in the Spider-Sense of all the Spider-Men, they all raised their heads, as if in silent mourning.

The most extremely kind people are the lambs created by God, born to be whipped by fate and chased by suffering, and we in our silence have chosen our own gods, which is the strongest rebellion we can do against the Creator.

In the corridors of the Time Management Bureau, a brown-haired white male was followed by Mobius, b15, and a group of Time Management Bureau employees. They rushed through the corridor at an extremely fast speed, like a tornado, and burst into Nick's office.

Peter had already left, and standing at the desk, Nick immediately raised his hands and said, "No, you can't..."

"Prosecutor Anderlecht of the U.S. Federal Tax Enforcement Team, here on orders to investigate the tax issues of UN Security Council Special Committee member, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury. Come with us."

Nick's eyes widened, and then he watched as a red-haired female agent calmly stepped out of the team, holding a document. She handed the document to Anderlecht and casually flicked her hair, saying, "This is the first time S.H.I.E.L.D. has collaborated with the IRS, it's been a pleasure, sir."

Nick glared at Natasha, and Natasha slightly raised her chin at him and said, "Don't be surprised, you'll also have to undergo an investigation by the UN Human Rights Organization and the U.S. Department of Labor Conditions into the inhumane work plan you've set for your employees - a joint complaint filed by Hydra and the KGB."

Just as Nick was about to draw his gun, an orange light shot out, and Nick's timeline was immediately frozen. Natasha nodded to b15 and said, "Thank you for your contribution to the federal tax issue, but I'm afraid we'll have to take him back to the federal jurisdiction for trial."

Mobius and b15 stepped aside, and the tax enforcement officers came forward to take Nick away. Mobius looked worried as he watched Nick's back and said, "Isn't he a bit too harshly treated?"

"You really underestimate him," Natasha sighed. "He won't be eligible for bail during the trial, he'll be able to rest for at least three months."

Meanwhile, in the depths of Space, the power belonging to Spider-Man was constantly coalescing, the golden light becoming increasingly dense. A consciousness drifted along the ripples of Space, until it entered a misty area.

"Carcosa... Aldebaran Star System Lake Harry... The Dark Sun is high in the sky..."

In the dense gray mist, the massive shadow of a giant Spider finally descended from the high heavens, silently reading the message transmitted from the Black Sun.

"Hello, Spider God Nick."
